My Wlan isnt working anymore.. i cant turn it on anymore.Why?
Hi everybody, I really need your help! Since I've got the new iOS 6 my WLAN isnt working anymore. I can't even connect it with my internet at home because it is switched off and i cant slide the button to turn it on.. Can somebody please help me? I've already did a back up and set everything back but that didn't help either. (

ive just bought an old msi GT70.. i found out it is a 0nc cause it has a i5 3210 + GTX 670mx.
so ive installed my win7 64bit and after installing all drivers i cant get that wlan to work. acutally i cant activate it, not with the hotkey nor with pressing the wlan button (doesnt react)
now ive read thru some posts and the problem could be the bios and ec versions. I have no clue what to do next.
My current Bios is E1762IG6.70O 10,08,12 ... and my EC version : 1762EG61 Ver5,01 09,18,12..
pls my friends help me out with this, i rly want to make this notebook work. ;(
edit1:. i havent installed programms from the "utility" section... maybe i need something from there?
edit2: ok i installed s-bar and im able to make that wireless button shine , still doesnt find any networks
edit3: I see that a driver is missing , acpi/KB9XRADIOBTN .. and it seems that this rly has something to do with win7 (i searched the web)

The model you have should be GT70 0NC.
You shouldn't miss installing some of the utility from the website. (S-Bar or SCM is used to control the function keys, so you'll need it for sure.)
Another thing, the BIOS version you have is for windows 8 system.
There is a different set up of the wireless/BT and the airplane mode in windows 7 / windows 8 system, so I'd suggest to use the windows 8 system in order for all your function work properly.

You can't.
Messages - the replacement for iChat in Mountain Lion and beyond will do Screen Sharing but only to the accounts it did in iChat 5 and 6 (actually it includes iChat 4 as well)
That is to say in earlier version of iChat you could login to AIM and Jabber servers as well as enabling the Bonjour option to chat on your LAN.
All these will do Video and Audio only chats which in turn means they will Screen Share.
At iChat 6 an Yahoo option was added but it can only Text chat (it can't even send Files or Pics)
This means only the Internet able accounts that login in to AIM or to a Jabber server can Video and therefore Screen Share.
The iMessages account will Invoke FaceTime if you use the Video icon during text chat. (I.e. it is not Video inside the app like the AIM or Jabber accounts can do)
NOTE.
AIM includes Apple Issued Apple ID as Valid AIM Screen Names.
Google Mail ID s can be used and Google Talk IDs with Messages as they run a Jabber server.
Facebook allow you to create a Chat ID (Facebook Chat ID) which is also a Jabber server.

I used assistive touch to turn off my iphone, because my lock screen button is not working, so now i cant turn it back on! What i did was, i went to assistive touch, then i held down the lock screen button to turn it off. Now i can't turn it back on.
To turn it back on when you use assistive touch, all you have to do is plug your iphone into a charger and it will power back on

Help me! I have a new iPad mini that won't turn on. It was working fine this morning then i turn it off and it never turns back on. it doesnt register with iTunes and resetting isnt working either. All I did is download instagram and snapchat and poof doesnt work. I have had these apps before!

My iphone randomly turned off out of nowhere. I was getting dressed, my phone was working one minute then literally the next it syopped now it wont charge i cant turn it on however the phone is on cause i called it and it rang. There is no reason to put it in DFU mode, a reset should work. Although, without a working power button it is not possible to reset the device.
Sounds like it is time to replace the damaged device. -

the DC-in board works fine on other ibook-----so not the DC-in problem
reset the PMU----no work.
when the battery is on ibook, plug in the charger, light is green, but will not charge the battery. in OS X it shows running on battery. if run out off battery, will turn off.
if took off the battery, and plug the charger, cant turn on; and light is dark.
any idea?

Yep! You could also try to restart the device by holding the power button and the home button down for several seconds might get 'er kicked into gear. Other than that... The Applestore it is!
