My won't connect to any computer

My won't connect to any computer, it's up to date with IOS 6.1.3 and i've used mulitple ipod charging cables but nothing works, it only charged when it's completely flat too, then it turns on and stops charging, goes flat and charges again, I also reset it and it didn't help, and now i've lost all my photos because i can't connect to a computer to restore my back up, someone please help, also the only way it full charges is if i leave it in sleep mode, it doesn't say it's charging but later on it will have full bettery

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

- Try another charging source

my ipod touch wont connect to any computer, ive tried different cable although it seems to chrge on docking stations and when plugged in the usb wall adaptor! When plugged into my laptop it nolonger recognises it, neither when i have plugged it into 2 other computers! No error sign or anything neither on the computer or any reaction on the ipod screen that its been plugged into something.. just nothing! ive updated my itunes. uninstalled and reinstalled it. ive reset my ipod settings NOTHING!!!

(Taken from THIS article) so that may (or may not) be the situation with yours. I know you said that it's not charging at all but it may take awhile for it to actually start charging since it was completely drained.

My iPod nano won't connect to any computer!!

It worked for a while on my computer, got my bunch of songs on it. Then it stopped connecting into iTunes and then stopped connecting into the computer all together. It won't even light up when I plug it in. I can still listen to my songs on it, I just can't charge the battery or get new songs. I tried using all the different USB ports, and restarted my computer about 50 times. (I'm using windows) I also reinstalled iTunes and the iPod but it's still not working! I also took it to a friend's and tried plugging it into their computer with my iPod cord and their iPod cord and it still wasn't connecting!

I am having a similar problem. I am actuall on my third 2nd generation nano. One I had to return do to that issue. I recieved the second one (product red) and I was able to get 600 songs on it froma friends computer. It connected to mine once but won't anylonger. The third one I was having the same issue with it but somehow got it to work. I updated itunes and ran a virus scan. I wish I could help but I'm starting to think about stomping on them. I have 4, three work and one dosen't.

What do I do if my iPhone is in a reboot cycle and won't connect to any computer in DFU mode?

Help! My iPod won't connect to ANY computer.

I Recently replaced my iPod and got a new one. Out of the box, this one will not connect to any of my computers. It does not even charge. I have tried different cables, but that is not the issue. How can I fix this? Can I at all? By the way, I just got this one yesterday at an Apple store in Brandon, Fl if that helps.

Do you have iTunes 10.7 or later on the computers? That is required.

Nano won't connect to any computer with any USB cable

Doesn't matter which computer or USB cable I try, I get the same message 2 seconds after I connect it to a PC. I get the following message after connecting:
USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED
One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Wondows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message.
But the only solution is says to do is disconnect it and retry again! Where the same thing happens over and over again. Help, please.

-tried to restore(sucessfull on working computer), no effect on the others

-is exibiting signs if imnent failure, ex. hdd cable going bad, ethernet not working, wifi card going out, CD Drive Useless, freezing, rebot doesnt work, crashing (none of these issues are present if HDD is plugged into other computer, so not a virus)

Reset my iphone4 but my back up on my computer didn't work. I tried using icloud to back it up but it won't connect to any wifi. please help :(

I got this phone for christmas off of ebay. it came unlocked & im using straight talk. this morning the screen began glitching. i googled it and it seems to be a common problem with the iphone4. i did what others said to do & reset my phone. the only problem is that my computer back up did not work. i tried using icloud to back it up but my phone won't connect to any wifi. I put my iPod Touch 4th Gen into PWNED DFU Mode to restore with a custom ipsw, I accidentally unplugged the iPod during the restore and now it will not connect to any computer and there is no way to put it into DFU mode or to turn it off and on again because the power button does not work.

Okay, here is the issue. My computer runs Windows Vista. Ever since I have updated iTunes to 11.0.2, my iPod touch hasn't been able to connect to the computer at all. I don't know if there is any correlation between the update and my issue, but I need someone to be the judge of that. Apple has suggested that you uninstall iTunes, QuickTime, etc. restart the computer and then reinstall them. So I have done that multiple times, and my iPod still won't connect to the computer. My sister's iPod touch, 4th gen just like mine won't connect to iTunes or the computer either. I have spent a lot of time looking up possible solutions, but none of them work at all. I've done everything Apple suggests in troubleshooting and such, but nothing works. I was hoping someone else might be able to give me a solution. One that hopefully does not involve uninstalling and reinstalling Apples programs, which I have done several times.
I have tried all accessable USB ports on my computer, and I have switched between the four different USB cords that we have, so this isn't the issue. My PS Vita will connect to the computer with no issue at all, so it isn't the USB ports either. I can plug my iPod Touch into my PS3 and it will charge the instant I plug either end of the cable in, the same for my sister's. I can plug it into the dock on my mother's alarm clock and it will charge just fine. I'm open to any suggestion, so please help me out here.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
Try connecting to another computer to help determine if you have an iPod or computer problem.

Apple tv won't connect to my computer

I just got ATV2 for my husband for his birthday. It connects to his computer just fine, and initally connected to my computer (we both have macs), but now it won't connect to my computer. I have updated my software, turned on home-sharing, etc, but it still won't connect! Any ideas??

Check you are using the same homesharing ID and password as your husband.
Check your firewall is allowing access for iTunes.
Check your computer is on the same network as the Apple TV.

I have downloaded the most recent version of iTunes, I've tried resetting it, and I've restarted my computer a couple times. I cannot restore it cause it won't connect to my computer. I've tried Disk Mode as well as changing USB ports. This didn't work. What happens is that it says USB not readable or something similar to that on the connection for half a second than disappears. This has been occuring ever since I synced a movie to my Classic. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Ipod shuffle second generation won't connect to my computer

I'm operating on Window 8.1 and my iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen won't connect to my computer. My USB port and cord are working because it does make the connection noise when I plug it in but it does not show up in My Comptuer or in My Devices on iTunes. This is the second iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen I've had this issue with.

If you have not already, as a test, shut down (power off) your computer and disconnect all USB devices (including any hub). You can leave standard keyboard/mouse connected, if used. If it's a laptop, connect its power adapter so that it's not running on battery power. If the shuffle's power switch is ON, put it in the OFF position. Power up the computer, run iTunes, and connect shuffle to a direct USB port on the computer, by itself. This is a test for possible interference between connected USB devices. Any difference?
If that does not help (or you already tried), does your computer have USB 3.0 ports (instead of 2.0). If so, and if you happen to have an older USB 2.0 hub that is powered (has its own power supply), try connecting the hub to your computer and your shuffle to the hub.

My iPhone 5 won't connect to any bluetooth or wifi, I was going to back it up and restore it but it won't back up to my macbook pro. I'm running Lion 10.7.5. as of right now. I don't know why it stopped working, my itunes is up to date and I cannot back it up to there either. What can I do?

try a reset of iPhone and then a restore,best, as new and if it then functions correctly try restoring with your backup
