My Yahoo mail has a problem. I cannot use a 'contact' to sned mail. If I go through Internet Explorer the problem disappears.

I have used Firefox a long time without trouble. I recently switched to 'Google Chrome'. When I decided to return to Firefox--I found that I was unable to send mail using a 'contact address' in Yahoo. When I tried using Internet Explorer to send me in Yahoo--It worked without any problem.

Try clearing the cache and deleting cookies for the site, this can sometimes help with accessing a site that previously worked. For details see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+clear+the+cache and https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Deleting+cookies

  • My Talk Talk web mail will not allow me access to my inbox since upgrading to vsn 4 Mozilla (says "You have unresolved e-mails"). Access ok through internet explorer.

Since upgrading to Mozilla vsn 4 I can no view e-mails on my Talk Talk webmail. I can access via Internet Explorer, but get a message "You have unresolved e-mails" and cannot access the inbox. I can log in but cannot go into my e-mails.
Please help. Talk Talk technical help say it is something on the Mozilla download. I have cleared history, caches and browsing cookies, so it's not that. I have also re-installed Mozilla vsn 4.

Apparently TalkTalk mail will work with Firefox 4 and Firefox 5 ''if'' you set the browser to ''lie'' to TalkTalk mail by saying that you are still using version 3.6.
You can find the instructions for that in a post on the TalkTalk forums: [http://www.talktalk.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=185113#post2452787 Firefox 4 & TalkTalk webmail - Forums].
Note: when you open about:config the first time, it will display a warning message that you should be careful with the changes you make. That's definitely good to bear in mind.
    Does it work?

  • As of January 25, I'm no longer able to resize column widths in Yahoo Mail Inbox--still works in Internet Explorer.

    * I know how column resizing works and have done it regularly in the Yahoo Inbox
    * I've logged out/in of Yahoo, restarted my Firefox browser session, rebooted my computer
    * Other than anti-virus and other auto-updates, there haven't been any system changes (e.g. no new software loaded, configuration changes)

The internet service you are using is the ones blocking the email from being sent out. You would need to contact them to see what they are restricting.

trying to launch photoshop cs3 on a mac running OS10.6.8 i keep getting the error message: Licensing for this product has stopped working  you cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contacting your IT adminstrator or Adobe customer support for help
I already Uninstalled and reinstalled the product and it still does not work.

    Hi,
Try to uninstall the software again and you have to manually
    Delete the following folders:
    [Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD
    [Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps
    [Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/backup
    [Startup Disk]/Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/
    [Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/FLEXnet Publisher/
Go to Applications-->Utilities-->Disk Utility, Open it and Select the MAC HD and then click on Repair permissions.
After that try to run the cleaner tool as mentioned by kglad.
Restart machine and then try to install again.
*** Make sure , you only delete these folders if there is no other adobe applications installed on the machine. As if you have any other Adobe application of the suite ( not free applications ) then it will be a problem.

  • IPad- on Yahoo pages the mail icon with the red number indication shows email.  When I tap, it asks me to sign in again. I do. It takes me to yahoo mail but there is nothing.  All the folders are emptied. All mail is either read, trash, or deleted.

iPad- on all Yahoo pages the mail icon with the red number indication shows email.  When I tap, it asks me to sign in again. I do. It takes me to yahoo mail but there is nothing.  All the folders are emptied. All my mail is either read, trash, or deleted. Also, when I tap on the mail app on iPad home page, gmail is no problem but for yahoo I get error: no password for yahoo. Go to Mail Account Settings and enter password.  I'm stuck. Suggestions?  Thank you.

    Ask and you shell receive.....lol
Go to your Gmail account in the browser.
Hit the folder icon that brings up the folder selection.
Scroll down to the bottom and select desktop version.
The broswer will refresh and bring up your gmail account as though you were looking on it on the computer.
The go to the upper right corner and select settings.
Then go to forwarding and pop/imap
    Go look at pop download
There you'll find 3 numbered lines
    Go to 1. Status
And select enable pop for all mail
    Then save the settings
Once you have done that you can go back to BlackBerry device settings and sync your mail or wait for it to sync it's self.
Let me know how it works out.
I just did it and it sync within minutes.

  • Mcafee site advisor add on caused problems with my yahoo mail..ahd to disable, but need the mcafee for security..what to do?

all of a sudden i had problems with my yahoo mail..messages and such would not load..tried everything..clearing cache, restart comp etc...nothing..then someone suggested i disable add ons..could only think of McAfee site adviser as the culprit..as soon as i changed that add on to "ask to activate" it seemed to get rid of the problem and i was able to see my messages..but i want the site adviser so how do i fix this problem??

I haven't heard about this conflict before. If your McAfee software is as up-to-date as possible, you might check their forums to see whether it is a known issue.
Meanwhile, since you mentioned Yahoo! mail... As you know, Yahoo has made lots of changes in its mail, including changing servers. While old bookmarks and home page addresses should be redirected to the correct server, this is not happening consistently.
To make sure you are using the latest server for your account, try accessing your mail through one of these pages:
    * Yahoo home page: https://www.yahoo.com/
    * My Yahoo page: https://my.yahoo.com/
    * General mail redirect: https://mail.yahoo.com/

  • I cannot open yahoo mail in your browser anymore...after I downloaded 4 it began I then down graded and still I cannot open yahoo mail . I can open in explorer. I need answeres fast or will maybe switch to google chrome.

when on yahoo page or tying to open from Im yahoo mail gives me this message
he requested URL /mc/welcome was not found on this server.
    Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) mod_jk/1.2.26 PHP/5.2.6-1+lenny4 with Suhosin-Patch mod_python/3.3.1 Python/2.5.2 mod_ruby/1.2.6 Ruby/1.8.7(2008-08-11) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8g Server at us.mc1143.mail.yahoo.com Port 80

I had this message come up on Firefox only anytime I tried to open mail in Yahoo:
    Not Found
The requested URL /neo/launch was not found on this server.
    Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) PHP/5.2.6-1+lenny9 with Suhosin-Patch Server at us.mg5.mail.yahoo.com Port 80
Also Panda turned out to be the problem and I stop the Panda URL filtering to solve the problem. Not sure what other risks that brings on though.

  • When using yahoo mail on firefox, when replying to emails the first letter has started to not record/appear. not an issue with my clicking, rather firefox recording the letter/digit. this does not appear to be an issue on Safari or Chrome.

first digit typed when replying to an email on yahoo mail on firefox is not appearning. not an issue on safari or chrome browsers.

I believe that our “Werbung problem” adds an additional second hyperlink to the pop-up window. This second link is activated whenever you trigger a saved hyperlink to a Mail.com site.
I had the same problem and eliminated it by deleting all bookmarks, hyperlinks and automatic links that take firefox to a mail.com address. So I just deleted all bookmarks I had saved for mail.com. I also changed my home page link because it also went to my email at mail.com. I then did a warm boot, opened firefox and re-saved my bookmarks and homepage to the desired addresses. Good luck.

  • I can't insert a picture in Yahoo Mail within FIrefox 3.6.13. The solution given by Yahoo doesn't work. Any ideas?

When I try to insert a picture - either jpg or html format on a Yahoo Mail page in Firefox 3.6.13, it won't insert. I looked at Yahoo forums etc, but the answers there don't work; e.g. a simple cut and past; inserting the picture link to its website. This must be a simple procedure - I get junk emails full of html pictures often. But neither Yahoo nor Firefox are helpful.

That means that the link has an onclick action. Such links need to be left-clicked. Make sure that you do not block JavaScript.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
    See:
    * [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]]

  • Firefox will not let me open one of my yahoo e-mail accounts. can open it on internet explorer. the account is linked with another e-mail account.

I can open the account, but can't select any items to open. problem first started Friday, when the e-mail account would not stay open. Now will stay open but will not open e-mails or allow selection of tabs. contacted yahoo but they said it was a firefox issue due to the fact I can open e-mails using internet explorer.
    says Yahoo!Mail, null currently.

Thank you! I did all three of those things and it works now. I was using a bookmark for the att.net Mail page like you said. I think that's probably what the problem was. It used to work fine. Now I know.

system goes to talktalk website as normal, click on my mail, then on login, and up comes message you have undefined mails in your inbox.normally the message would say ,you have X No of new mails. No matter what I try I cannot gain access to my messages. If i use internet explorer i get my messages no problem

I found my own solution to this one after many more hours of frustration. I found that there was a toolbar applet installed in Internet Explorer that started its own private JVM, and that JVM was being seen by the plugin code for 1.3.1_07. Apparently there was some conflict between what the plugin code expected and what that private JVM (not sure what version it was, the code had no mention of it) had to offer, which caused the crash dialog. Uninstalling the toolbar (and its parent application) solved the problem. I may do further testing to see if there are any plugin versions that do work with this particular applet.
It is also still a mystery why this problem only cropped up after installing and uninstalling 1.4.x version of the plugin, but I didn't keep close track of the whole sequence so it may have been coincidental.
    Hope this helps someone.
