My yahoo mail home page is in French. How do I change it to English?

The headings from each e-mail are also in French, which I want changed back to English. How can I change my Yahoo! mail home page and e-mail headings to English?

you need to clear your cache and maybe delete the cookies from Yahoo!.
Try changing your language on Yahoo! and then do this or do it after... whatever works. Let me know how it goes.

Just to be sure: do you mean Java or JavaScript?
Java and JavaScript are different languages.

Out of curiosity, what page keeps showing up? You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[How to set the home page]] and follow the steps to reset your homepage preferences to default. I would try that first to clear out any strangeness. If that works, you can try setting your homepage again to your personal preference.

The front page of Firefox is always presented in the Portuguese language. I am an English man and speak no Poruguese. I have tried to changeit to Englosh but nothing seems to work. I tried downloading the English version of Firefox but it was still in Portuguese.

Some sites automatically redirect you to a site in the local language, based on where your IP locates you. 
There is usually a link on such websites choose a language or go to an international version that allows to chose the language.

Such settings are stored in a cookie on your computer that you need to allow: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions" or Tools > Page Info > Permissions.

OO,
If all the menus and prompts are in Spanish, that's because your system is set to Spanish as the default location. Or, you used a third party app to change the operating language for one or more apps.
More likely though, you are looking at one of the templates and are seeing Placeholder Text. Placeholder Text is just there to illustrate the formatting. Click on it and type in any language you like, and you will get whatever language you are typing in. I think you will find that the Placeholder Text consists of Latin words and phrases, not Spanish.

These days, when i login my yahoo mail as usual on firefox4.01, i can see the mail box and mail list page. When i click one mail then it should open a new window in yahoo mail page and show this mail's details. But there is just show me a blank window with this mail's topic and no detail content. Can't access my yahoo mail acct page

I suddenly lost my regular yahoo email page. Just a bunch of words etc appear vertical on the left side of the page. My email account does not show. If I go to google and log onto yahoo, my email page shows up fine but not with firefox. I want my email page back. HELP.m what do I do. I'm a newbie to computers so please be gentle in the explanation.

As a temporary workaround, you should be able to access you e-mail through Safari.

Yahoo Default Home Page Portfolio Function Malfunction on BB-9330

Dear Board:
Yahoo browser just recently redesigned its home page. I have no problems with this change on my desktop or laptop devices. However, when I try to bring up "My Portfolios" with my BB-9330, I get an "Internal Server Error" message and presently can't access my portfolios that I have come to rely on with my BB when on the go. I tried to correct it by updating the BB software and that hasn't corrected the problem. Yahoo says it isn't their software and that I should check with Blackberry mfg. on this problem. Any suggestions from the panel of experts out there?????

Current Firefox versions use the default search engine that is selected in the search bar on the Navigation Toolbar also for searching via the location/address bar and for searching on the about:home page.
What is the value of the browser.search.defaultenginename pref on the about:config page?
You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).

Error occured when click on "Sign In" button at Yahoo Mail login page

Im unable to login to my yahoo mail website.
After filling up the username and password section.. clicking on the 'Sign In' button does nothing.
Upon checking the Error console found there might be issue with javascript.
Able to login with other web browsers.

Please try if you can access the site on computers outside your Company network. This could help us to narrow down the issue and see if the “The Hardware Firewall
won't allow any Computers to access any ports Except Port 8” causes the issue.
