If you are getting an issue with the display on your iPhone such as you describe, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
Specifically -
Display image issues
This can include bright or dark pixels, lines in video, or sections of video missing.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Verify the issue is not content related, by viewing different content.
If the image is too dark, adjust the brightness. In General Settings choose Brightness and Wallpaperand slide the slider.

Elite Pro, CMSS-3D not working and other issues after driver update
DElite Pro, CMSS-3D not working and other issues after driver update <font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="4">Elite Pro CMSS-3D control (on I/O console)no longer controls CMSS-3D.
The only time it works is if the original drivers are installed from the installation CD.
ANY other drivers stop the control on the Elite Pro I/O console from having any effect on CMSS-3D.
Also at one time when I cotrolled volume, CMSS-3D(original drivers), EAX and Crystalizer from the Elite Pro I/O controls then I had on screen display of said control that was being moved(on I/O console).
Now regardless of what drivers are installed, there?are no longer any on screen indicators.
The indicators looked like the ones that show when using the remote controller.

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. When I synched my new iPhone with the newly downloaded iTunes, I registered my iphone and tried to "back it up" to iCloud and the message indicating that "the required file was not found or has a permissions error...." popped up.

Both my wireless keyboard and mouse failed after I updated yesterday. I'm using KNOPPIX to post they both work with knoppix so its not a hardware problem.

Hi-I have an old Adobe Audition 1.5 and I used to be able to hear as I was recording. After updating computer and reloading Adobe Audition 1.5, can no longer hear as recording but only on playback. Please advise.
All the monitoring is done through your sound device, not Audition. When you updated your PC, the sound device playback settings would have been reset. One of them includes input socket monitoring, and it's this that you need to reinstate. Since we don't know what sound device you are using, that's as much as we can tell you, except that if it's an internal device, you'll need to open the volume control options and alter it there. This varies between OS versions though...

I am using My Photo Stream on my iPhone and on my iPad. Much to my surprise, I noticed that many of my pictures on my iPad have disappeared ( iPhone shows 990 - iPad shows 90 only !!!! ) Has this happened to anyone else ????? What is the problem ???
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there (subject to a 1,000 photo limit) until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device. -
when i'm in safari, if i hit command + to make the type bigger safari doesn't remember this setting after i close the site and reload it. in chrome this happens automatically. can i make safari remember my type size settings automatically?

After upgrading my iphone 4 to io6 i started loosing the historical sms messages from some senders including new ones received as soon as I open the message app. I am not happy with io6. please advise how i could downgrade to io5.1.1.
I have read a number of other threads regarding the loss of Messages, however, I am not aware of the reason it is happening. Check on the right side of this message under more like this and see if you can find an answer.

Itunes suddenly deleted my Ipod
I have a Mac Mini AND a PC, so I've been able to test that the issue is NOT with my (brand new) IPod Nano. Everything was fine, my music had been synced for weeks, no problem. Today, I bought a new MP3 album and went to sync it to my IPod; as soon as
