My Youtube does play after 10.9.2 update

Since I put OS X Mavericks on my mac version 10.9.2, I have not been able to watch Youtube and this is very agervating.

Go step by step and test.
1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button
     Install Adobe Flash Player.
    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
    Follow the prompts.   Quit Safari.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
    Enable it.
3. Reset Safari.
    Click Safari in the menu bar.
    From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
    Uncheck the boxes beside all items.
    Check the box beside "Remove all website data".
    Click "Reset".
4. Turn off Extensions, if any.
    Safari > Preferences > Extensions
     Now try YouTube.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

ITunes not playing after 10.6.4 update

Hi,
I just went to play some music in iTunes after running that last update, and nothing happens. I click on the play button and nothing plays. I don't even see the time indicator moving.
I've quit and restart and nothing fixes it. What can I try next? I'm using the latest version: 9.1.1.

restart fixed the problem. I have NO idea what caused it though.

hi guys! i have another problem. after i upgraded to lion. youtube isnt working. a friend told me maybe i should give it more time to buffer since it could be my network provider. but i never had this problem prior to upgradng to Lion. i need my youtube to get running like it used to.

I dont have another browser. I only use safari. I stumble upon some an article saying that I need to download the lastest Adobe and so I did that. Nothing works still. Im getting frustrated coz I dont know if what Im doing is right. Isnt upgrading to lion supposed to make things easier. But it only gives me headache. Im sorry if im ranting out. I didnt sleep last night thinking of a solution to this problem. Im so sorry.

YouTube won't play after 10.10.1 update!

After updating my iMac to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 I now have an issue with playing videos on YouTube. Nothing will play, I either get a blank black screen or a fuzzy screen and an error message from YouTube saying 'Playback Error.
These issue only occurred after updating my OS to 10.10.1 - My version of Safari is 8.0
Anybody else experience this problem?

Actually this just started yesterday. Some of us who updated to 10.10.1 when it was first released were not having any issues until yesterday and today. So it’s something at Google’s end that has changed (Google owns YouTube). It also appears to be related to HTML5 video and not Flash. As a temporary workaround you can change Safari’s user agent from 8.0 to 7.1 and things start working again. You do this by Safari->Preferences->Advanced->check “Show Develop menu in menu bar.” Now drop down the Develop menu and select User Agent -> Safari 7.1. However, this is only temporary and the user agent will revert back to Safari 8 when you leave YouTube. Another solution is to use the Firefox or Chrome browser to visit YouTube until Apple and Google get this sorted out.

No sound in YouTube Vimeo etc after 10.8.5 update

After upgrading to 10.8.5 I have no sound on my iMac i7 when playing YiouTube or Vimeo. System sound works as does iTunes. I've tried re-installing the combo update as suggested elsewhere but still no sound. Any clues much appreciated.

After long conversation with Apple support I reinstalled OS X. Solved the problem.

Music Purchased on iTunes will not play after 3.0.1 update

I have a 3GS 32GB. Since upgrading to 3.0.1, music purchased from iTunes won't play. Other music will play. Purchased music will play from the library on my laptop.
I have also been bitten by the failure to launch bug. Third party apps would not launch after the update. That problem has been solved, for now.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I has this same problem after upgrading my OS. I tried everything, reauthorizing, restoring, downloading new music (worked from iTunes not from iPhone). I got my apps to work by deleting them and redownloading but you can't do that for purchased music. Apple Support had me restore my iPhone as a new phone through iTunes (instead of restoring from a backup) after making sure EVERYTHING was backed up. Now everything works again and all my data is there and problem is solved. The only additional work I had was to reenter some settings that were lost.

Every webserver that receives a request from your browser is able to determine the HTTP USER AGENT information unless it has been removed by some software (e.g. firewall) before the request was trasmitted.

Youtube video stops playing after 11 seconds

Mac Pro / Mountain Lion 10.8.2 / Flash 11.4 - YouTube videos stop playing after 11 secs. Only just started happening last week - around time when I installed latest Lion upgrade but this may be a red herring. Tried uninstalling Flash and reinstalling with no change. Checked/emptied cache.

There are several topics with similar symptoms, but I don't think anybody has found an answer yet, as it only occurs on some few systems.
What I would try if I encountered the same problem:

Youtube videos don't play after upgrading from 3.x to 4.0.1.

Youtube videos no longer play after upgrading from Firefox 3.x to the new 4.0.1.
The youtube page loads completely but the video never starts.
Firefox displays the page like its done downloading the video, but no video.
It displays as "done" loading the page with no activity in the page tab or bottom bar... but the video screen is black. Everything but the video loads.

I seem to have experienced the same problem, after applying the APEX 4.0.2 patch, my theme produced errors on the new type of date picker. I use the Bravo theme.
I am now trying to purchase the Delta theme, but unfortunately I see today on the Apex-Themes website that the themes are not available to purchase anymore.
Did you manage to resolve your issue? And do you maybe by any chance know where I can get hold of the Delta theme now?

Thank you for your interest in solving my problem.
What I did I opened iTune. I read the information about what does my computener need to play back a rented movie. My computer is okay to play back rental movies. So I went to the iTunes store, I searched for the movie I want to watch, i singned in into my Mac account and I bought the movie. The movie started to download to my computer, it took some time because I bought a HD version, but it never stop and after a couple of hours or little less the movie was in the Rented folder of my iTunes and also I checked to be sure that was in the movie folder. So, next day I open iTunes and click on the movie, it opens but I wait for five minuetes and never started to play back, so I tried several time and I looked for info in different internet forums but I couldn't find anything that help. So I posted the problem in this forum and also I called Apple. Apple contacted me and they let me to download the movie again. So I did it and now I will watch the movie later. Not sure if the movie will play back normally or if I am going to have the same problem. I'll keep you posted.

I have a similar problem with at least two songs that I know of, one is an iTunes download (encrypted) the other was imported from a CD using iTunes (no encryption). Both songs play 2-3 seconds then immediately go to the next song. The "weird" thing -- I plugged my iPod into my new MacBook which has no songs other than what are on my iPod (i.e., not playing the song from another source) and both songs play fine. Unplug the iPod from the computer, plug in headphones and the songs skip again.
I've gone through the 5 R's as well, with no luck.
