My Zen 4Gig player is stuck at the menu scre

My Zen 4Gig player is stuck at the menu, and because of this I can't navigate through my Zen player. There is music and my player and it is fully charged but I can't move through menus. I also downloaded the latest firmware but that won't work either. Can anyone help?

I am also experiencing the same problems but with a 8gb Zen. After trying the recovery mode and installing the new firmware... I still have this problem. Now I'm stuck in recovery mode since I can't even navigate in that. The only thing that responds is the turn on/off switch.
Anyone know what to do?

I have some forms stuck under the menu bar on Mac Mountain Lion

I have a stock market program and two of their forms have become stuck under the menu bar. Closing the program doesnn't help because when it's restarted it returns to the exact same spot and I can't reach the close buttons. I've tried changing the screen res put that doesn't help. Any ideas?

Bob ~ Try this: Close the stock market app. Then  menu > System Preferences... > General pane > Check "Close windows when quitting an application":

Title Bar stuck under the Menu bar and I cannot select and move it.

I often arrange windows around the desktop and sometimes I inadvertently push a window up too far and the title bar gets under the menu bar. Once I let go of the arrow, the title bar is too far under the menu bar and I can no longer reach it to move it down. The only solution is to close out the program and start over. Is there a way unbeknownst to me to select the title bar again and move it?

My E*Trade streaming watch list was stuck under the Menu Bar also. I tried reseting the screen resolution down to 1280 x 1024, and restarting the MarketTrader. There on the display was the stuck window, out from under. I resized and moved it to a central location, and resized the display back to my normal 1920 setting. And to my relief, the window Bar! I tunes player gets stuck at the end of the song

When I play albums from external drive library sometimes a song gets stuck at the end and keeps looping at the last a second or two, and doesnt go to the next song. If I restart iTunes it will play OK. It happened more than a dozen of times.
What is the problem and how to fix that. Its annoying to restart the iTunes all the time.

Presnently experiencing this 'last second' glitch downlaoding songs from a CD. The first CD transferred okay. The second CD will not import beyond the last second of any – first, second, middle, last – selected song. FORCE QUIT , eject CD, and reinserting the CD does not change the issue.

E66 Music Player gets stuck at the end of some tra...

I'm trying to use my E66 as a music player when I work out, but it gets to the end of some (but bizarrely not all) tracks and in the last 5 or 6 seconds will start looping the same short (.5sec) piece of a track, and will continue to do that after the time has hit 0 and not move on to the next song. Some tracks seem to be ok, but others don't. The player and the phone haven't crashed - I can move to the next track by clicking the skip track button, or just pausing and playing again. The music is stored on a MicroSD, mostly in MP3 format if that helps anyone diagnose the problem. It's driving me nuts - can anyone help??!

My zen has been down for the last week, hangs up on creative screen. I took the battery out and was able to get to the recovery mode but "disc scan" would not do anything(in limbo) and "reboot "met with the same result, nothing. If you want to talk to anyone at creative and are past your 6 month warranty window you have to pay $20 for the phone call. Well I decided to take matters into my own hands and spent yesterday morning researching old threads about this problem. I kept finding an uncommon fix. When you hold your power button on and replace you battery and the recovery screen starts up you wrap on the back with your knuckle, in my case I hit my zen face down sharply on my dresser. To my amazement the "Doobie Brothers" started playing and I have'nt had any problems yet. Evidently these systems have a hard dri've that hangs up. It may not work for you but it cured my glitch.

When using genius playlists my music player is stuck on repeat all. It gets to the second song and then repeats it 'ad infinitum'

If I select a genius mix, the player will play the first song and then progress to a second. It then 'sticks' on the second song and repeats it over and over. I have tried to switch off the repeat function but it will not respond and stays on 'repeat all'. I have tried different genius lists and updated the software to 8.12

I have a similar problem.
"Repeat Playlist" is stuck. The button action shows all three options (Repeat Off|Repeat Song|Repeat Playlist) and Cancel, but tapping any doesn't change the status from "Repeat Playlist". Very annoying.
Additionally, "Shuffle" is completely unresponsive. This is on an iPhone 6 Plus running the latest iOS 8.13 (12B466).
Happy to hear this is happening on 8.12 as well. Okay, not "happy" but you know what I mean...

Creative Zen Micro - Stuck on the Creative lo

Hi,
My Zen Mirco stopped working yesterday and now i cannot get passed the Creative logo and it wont even turn off.
I can get into the system restore screen and that does nothing aswell.
Searching the forums this seems to be not unusual and am looking to see if there is a fix for this or is my Zen broken for good?

Well searching these forums for 30mins or so think got the answer. If you can hear the HDD then give the Zen a few hits on a table and it should start up. I did this for about 0mins or so and it got it working. It's now stuck on the track i went down on. So i'm gonna reboot it all and hopefully that will get it sorted back 00%

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive & clear caches.)

Rather than burn directly to disk follow this workflow to help assure the best quality video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.

Creative Zen XTRA - Stuff stuck behind the scr

I know this is a stupid problem but some crap has got stuck between the screen and when i removed all the screws at the front to try and get inside I couldn't. How the hell can I get this stuff out from behind the screen. Any ideas?

this discussion went around a few weeks ago, i think someone suggested possibly blasting some of that compressed air stuff in there to see if that does the trick. (but be careful cause you could introduce more dust or possibly moisture into it so it may not be a good idea). i don't know how the dust gets in there except that there must be a leak somewhere, but i've seen other things that had that. i had a digital camera (one of those HP pieces of junk) that got some dust in behind the lens (how can THAT happen) and there's no way to get in there to get it out. i'd imagine if it was REAL bad you might be able to get creative to fix it for you but it may fall under one of those "cosmetic" type clauses that gets them out of it, don't know but it's worth asking.

I have the playsforsure firmware and I am a rhapsody-to-go subscriber. Everything was working great for months until one day all my licenses expired. I checked the date/time on my zen micro and it was set to sometime in jan 2007. It doesn't matter what pc I connect it to, the time never gets properly synced. How can I solve this?

You can adjust it on the Micro manually. I have never had the time on the Micro sync with my computer. Go into the "Date & Time", then click the menu button, then "Set Time", then "Set Date".

ZEN Vision:M problem selecting from the men

Just like the title says, I'm having trouble accessing any of the menus(photos,videos,extras, etc..) from the menu on my ZEN Vision:M. I've tried pressing the touchpad to select a menu option but no luck, I've also tried just pressing the "right" button to enter a sub menu but no luck. I can scroll up and down in the menu and if a song is playing I can also adjust the volume but its like i have no option to select. I downloaded the newest version of firmware by my model, I've tried formating the player but still stuck with the same problem.
Also, when in recovery mode I cant select any of the options listed in the menu.
I just bought this Device from DELL.com w/ Extended Service Protection but Im beginning to think I got a defecti've product.
If anyone could help with this frustration it'd be great

I just contacted Dell and I'm returning for a refund. After several more attempts to try and reboot, relaod firmware to try and solve any problem with it I decided to call it quits and just chalk it up to a PoS mp3 player. I have had a 20g Samsung player for 3 years now and have had no problem with it at all. The only thing is that its not compatible with subscription services such as Napster to Go. I think I will look into a new Samsung or something else.

After I hv updated my computer to windows XP Sp3,?the?player?can't recognize in my computer, i hv checked out for the previous posting, however it still can't solve my problems~~
And my player stuck/freeze when the player is power on in the "Rebuilding" mode.......n i tried to go to the recovery mode n tried to "CLEAN UP" / "FORMAT" it, but it still stuck.......

The player operates normally in "Fomat All" mode, but it stuck when i am?trying in "Clean Up" during the process....i need to press the reset buttom to turn off the player......n it freezes again when i?am trying again?to power on n it goes to the "rebuilding library".....so wut can i do for it's?
