My ZEN 8GB always have that blue light glowi

I just installed it and was upadting everything. Now I did the Firmware update last and at the end, it said ''Rebooting player...'', I did saw my player close but never re-opened again. I waited 5 minutes. Screen still black and it has the blue light glowing like if it was charging even thought I fully charged it. Now the problem is my computer can't no longer detected it. But I can't turn on my player. I removed the USB cable and still has the blue light glowing. I can't do absolutely nothing with my player except staring at he blue light and the black screen. I pushed the Reset button. It did close my player but when I turn it on, I see the Creative and ZEN title but it goes back to a black screen and has that blue light glowing again. I thought the battery were over so I reset it again. And plug it in my computer. My player automatically turn on and do the same thing. It doesn't recharge the battery since I see no icon of the battery on the screen.

I know you can't help with my Yahoo problem, however, apparently at some time in the past I have went to the Sync and tried to figure it out on both my laptop and my desktop, because I have the long snyc key information. However, when I go to try to sync both computers I never get the box to enter that key on either one. That is my problem. So should I try and get a new sync key and see if that works.

I turn my phone off at night and in the morning when I turn it back on I have to set the time and date again and again and again, every single time I turn it back on. Enable User Rights in Adobe: how to always have that on?

I finally figured out why most PC users were not able to save any of the fields they filled out in my PDFs: I didn't know about the user rights feature.
Is there a way to always "Enable User Rights in Reader" to be turned on, so I don't have to remember to go the Advanced menu and select "Enable User Rights In Acrobat Reader" ?

For me, it's all about creating a design-intensive document
once (a placement ad or a marketing flyer or a spec sheet), adding a few simple boiler-plate fields to it for contact information, and sending it to my client, who then sends it to his dealers. Each dealer can then edit the contact info, save it, have it printed or placed in a newspaper, use it for trade show hand-outs.
How is the creator of such a document supposed to police the 500 "uses" limit? Who is liable when that limit is exceeded? What constitutes a single "use"? (I only used the file once. The client only used the file once. Each Dealer will
edit the form content once, but may have it printed in 501 local newspapers.)
The terms are unintelligible and probably unenforceable. This confusion has existed ever since Adobe finally threw the bone. The stupid paranoia poison just needs to be removed.

Hi, I am going to get a ZEN 8GB, I have wmp 9 on my pc, will I have to upgrade to wmp 0 or to use this player ?If so which version should I? go for and should I uninstall wmp 9 first ?I? have XP with?service pack 2. Yes, you should upgrade.
But personally I'd advise you to upgrade anyway. WMP is much better (once you get used to it - you probably won't like it straight away!)

I have three blue lights, supposedly excellent connection. Yet connection grinding to a halt periodically - every 15-20 minutes.. Skype calls also failing when this happens which is a big problem for me.

Creative Zen 8gb won't respond and just flashes blue li

Hi,
My 8gb creative zen mp3 player won't turn on and is not responsi've at all. The only response I get is when I plug it into the computer, where a faint blinking blue light flashes near the power button. However, even this blue light stops flashing after a period of time. I've tried resetting the mp3 player, and I've left it plugged to the computer to recharge if that was the problem, but still nothing.
Computer does not detect a playing device either.
Any help would be great!

My Creative zen 4gb can only be turned on when I connect it first to the computer, and after that, I can turn it on without the use of a computer. But if I don't use for a few hours, it won't turn on again, and I have to connect it to the computer again. Even if battery is full, I get the same problem. ?I've also used the recovery tool. Still same problem. Any idea how I can fix this?

Zen 2GB - a blue light is flicker

first of all, please excuse my bad english. Unfortunately there is no german board.
I've bought an Zen 2GB and have watched the following: Sometimes the screen flickers in a blue light and turns off after about one second. Remarkable is, that when it happens the player is not in use, for example the player is laying on the table and is turned off. This flickering effect also happens, when I plug in an earphone. But it doesn't happen with every earphone (only some models, I've tested) and only in about 80 percent of the times, when I plug it in.
Recently I've exchanged the player at my local dealer. But the new one still shows the same effect.
My question now: Has anyone made the same experience with his Zen and is the Zen not ok?

I also encountered this same behavior when using a different headphone for my ZEN 4GB...sometimes it restarts, sometimes it totally hangs up..leaving only the blue light on... I cannot turn it off... I have to do a reset on the thing which forced me to bring along a hair pin everyday... Bumping this thread as my daughter's Zen V is doing the same. The blue light flashes when the on/standby button is held on but it doesn't actually start up. Is this a hardware failure? She's only had it 3 months.

Thanks, I figured it out. I remembered that I had to reset my ZEN when I first received this refurbished model. I reset it, and it worked. I still am having problems downloading from my audible book to my ZEN. I have over 4 GB left on my ZEN and it will not download for me from my audible files. I am trying to avoid calling tech support. Can anyone help.

Why have that? It would be a battery waster if you ask me. All you have to do is hit your home button and see your notifications on the lock screen. How hard is that to do? If you like it so much then stick with a BB. the iPhone is not a BB and should never try to be one.

You can try to log out of iMessage and then sign back in. However, even under optimal conditions, iMessage will not always work. That's why the option of 'Send as SMS' is so important. There might be temporary outages in the related iMessage servers.

Have a G3 pismo, works great, but when I plug in the power cord, the light won't come on to indicate its charging. It is charging, and the battery is good, its just that the light won't come on. Could it be something with the backup battery?

The power connector in the G3 PowerBook is a weak link. Removed, it looks like this:

The connector probably hasn't failed, but the solder joints where "legs" on the connector attached to the logic/power board are under a lot of stress after 10 years of use. Little bumps and tugs on the power cord eventually degrade the connection. You can check for looseness easily---see if the connector feels loose when you GENTLY wiggle it with a fingertip. It should have zero play if it's still firmly attached. You can also plug in the power adaptor and see if slight movements if the plug make the light turn on. Pretty diagnostic of a loose connector.
The date stays current,
Make sure you are doing this check correctly. If you have an always-on internet connection, the date/time are fed froma network time server and will always read properly unless you test with the internet connect turned off or disconnected.

Some have found relief just by reinstalling, but it is more than likely incompatible third-party applications that slow it down.
You will have to investigate to see what it is.
Open Activity Monitor and see if anything is using a lot of CPU% or Memory. If they are, check to see if there is an update for them.
Another place to look is the Console. See if anything is logging repeating messages with throttling and/or respawn in the All Messages list.
Sometimes it is not that easy to root out the problems, but if you have anything that purported to clean, protect, optimize, maintain, or flush your system, then that is likely the cause.
