MY ZEN MICRO IS FROZEN PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME!

i went into recovery mode with my zen micro and no matter which option i choose it says 'formatting' 'scan disk' and remains there for over an hour and half.
before resorting to this option i turned my zen micro on and heard a buzzing and clicking sound like..."click...buzzzzz...click...buzzzzzz" like the ahrd dri've was corrupt trying to find something or cant spin up. i just bought this less than 3 weeks ago. i do not want to cross over into apple territory, thats y i chose this unique player. please anyone help.

i have the same problem. last night i was putting music on it, and it like froze while docking and putting music on, so i just unplugged it like froze, so i tried all 4 of the things in the reboot screen when it reboots. like all 4 options.
now when i turn the thing on it shows the creative logo forever now.
so fustrating.
and when i erase firmware or watever it does the same thing as this kid...it freezes deleting it. or same as reformatting
plz help us, i really wanna get this working i spent all my $$$ on it.

I understand that your App Store does not show your app updates. Please follow the steps below to help resolve the issue.
1. Close All Apps on iPad: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
2. Sign out of iTunes & App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap AppleID > Sign out
3. Reset All Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
4. Reboot iPad
5. Sign back into iTunes and App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Sign In with AppleID

Creative Zen Micro problem! PLEASE HELP

can anyone help me please?
I am on my 3rd replacement for my Zen Micro. I have had problems with switching my Zen on and for it to even attempt to function properly. I turn on my Zen and once the screen turns back to the song that i was playing when i previously turned it off, it plays about 2 seconds of the song and then releases an unpleasant high pitched drone in my ears. This happens 9 times out of 0 whenever i switch on my Zen.
I am doing nothing different whatsoever, other than listening to it throughout the day. It still has 4GB left! I really am very upset about it all.
This is now getting ridiculous. I have rebooted it, uploaded firmware, formatted my Zen and wiped it then put all of the music back on, "cleaned it up" and still i have problems. I am VERY angry, frustrated and completely disappointed in this product. I have never found so many problems with a product!
Please let me know what can be done.
I have emailed Creative Support 4 times in the past week and i have had nothing in return. I need a new player as i use it every day. I cant get a refund (i dont think) because it was a gift and my dad bought it online. I just want a working Creative mp3 player.

It sounds like you've tried everything as far as troubleshooting goes (updating firmware, the options in Recovery Mode). Unfortunately it does look like there is a problem with your player then.
You didn't mention when you originally got the player (the first one, or your last replacement), but in any case it would be best to speak to Customer Support and outline the problems you've been having, and let them know you're not happy, to see what they can do for you.
Regarding e-mail, did you get an auto response back? If not, check your spam filter (if you have one), as you will always get an auto response back when you e-mail us or use the webform. If you did get the auto response, check over it, as usually you are meant to reply to it if the included basic tips don't help, so that someone will deal with your mail directly.

Very Weird Problem Zen Micro...Please Help

So I accidently dropped my zen micro really hard and now when I turn it on, it takes me to the creative copywrite beggining and then it goes to just creative with nothing else on the screen and doesn't move from there as if its frozen. I've tried rescue mode, clean disk, but it's taking over 45-60 minutes and still nothing, just scan disk. I had about 800 songs. I could care less about the songs, I just want the dam thing to work already. Any Help would be of much appreciation, pleasssee and thank you.

You're pretty much hosed. Even if its under warranty, Creative will likely view the damage as due to dropping and, therefore, not covered. I'm not sure what the repair charges will be, but it won't be cheap.

I was trying to add more songs to my Zen Sleek but it won't work kept saying there was an error and try restarting the Zen well I did but then it wouldnt connect to my computer it was just saying that the device was not dectected then to top it all off it wouldnt play any of the songs I had on it already it just kept saying Go to Music Library to play or something like that well then it just froze up and now it wont turn off or do anything can anyone please help I'm leaving to go on a trip in the morning and I was hoping to take it so I wont have to drag all my CDs. Please please please can anyone help?

Perhaps try running a Cleanup in Rescue mode first. Also, what are you using to transfer those music? MediaSource or WMP0? Have you also try different software to transfer and see if you face the same thing.

I would pull the battery out for 30 min maybe it just needs reset other then that the display could be defecti've if it still plays music

Hi all, I have enjoyed my zen micro photo for the past year with relati'vely little problem, but recently when i plug the zen in, it won't light up nor charge and seems like the computer didn't even know it's plugged in. Another serious problem is that if i do get it to charge, after i remove the zen from the computer, it won't turn back on! and it also keeps shutting down by itself if the heaven was merciful that day and the zen managed to turn on. Any solutions? Please help me!

what error message to you get, does the micro think its detected, is it charging and all that. that firmware will let the computer detect the player in the same way as your old one.
have u looked in device manager to see if its a problem device?
basic suggestion try to work out where the problem lies, test it on another usb cable, another usb port another computer. try and find out where the problem lies, then its easier to help.

ZEN MICRO ERROR!!! HELP NEEDED

Well, I bought a zen micro and couldn't have been happier until it started freezing at startup and all I see is the logo. The recovery mode doesn't seem to do squat for the player but it still shows up. I selected each one of the options on recovery mode individually and it says it's performing the intended task, but i come back hours later to find a bald kid with a blow dryer (no results). When starting up, I listened very carefully to the internall sounds the electronics were making; a repetiti've "wurr wurr wurr" that stops after about fifteen seconds of run time.
***ANOTHER THING*** ::: My PC doesn't detect the micro when plugged in via USB either... I suspected a firmware issue but I also need help going about all of THAT and everything else...
Any information at all would be helpful. If you need specifics in order to provide me with a solution, I'll try the snot out of me to give it to you.
It would be helpfull to have a direct "conversation" via a messenger if anyone wants to try that who might have a solution.

I had EXACTLY the same problem (including the noise that quits after 5 seconds).
The HD in your ZM is kaput (*boom*). You have to send the player in to have it replaced. Depending on your warranty status, you might ot might not have to pay for that.

I have installed all my drivers for the Zen Micro, yet it tells me (when i plug it in (USB) )Hardware found please install drivers.... i got to install them and it wont work, there is no drivers on the Installation CD... so i cant use it... i go to my device manager and it says... Hi, I have had my Zen Micro Photo for three months and it has worked fine untill today. When I turned it on it went to the creative screen like it usually does and it just stayed there. I tried taking out the battery and putting it in again but it did the same thing. It doesn't even do anything when I hook it up to the computer. What can I do? I'm freaking out here please help me!!!!!!

It could be that the microdri've is "stuck" or in failure.
While the MicroPhoto is turned off, try tapping (well do it very firmly and with enough force) on the palm of your hand, restart the MicroPhoto and see if it boots up completely.
If not, a firm smack on a table top or counter may unstick the heads of the microdri've if that is what's preventing the microdri've from completely booting up.

My zen micro is not detected by Media Explorer, Windows Media Player and not detected when trying to update the firmware. I have read through all post telling you to edit your regeistry, various windows updates but still no luck. It tells me thats its connected in the Device manager but no programmes detect it.
