My Zoom in Gesture Doesn't Work on Safari How can i make it work?

I just bought a mac book pro 2011 and i know that the zoom in gesture used to work on safari at first but it doesnt anymore how can i make it work again?

So it does not work at all in Safari? Do you have any other web browsers installed that you could test it out on to see if it is just acting up with Safari?

Hi. I have just bought a new copy of Photoshop Element 9. It installed OK, but when I try to open the Editor, I get the message "Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem", followed shortly by the message "Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". The only option then is Close Program. The Organizer has the same problem.
Does anyone know how to get it to work? It hasn't just stopped working, it has never worked at all. If anyone at Adobe are monitoring this thread, please can you tell me what the problem is and how to sort it out? I tried the Adobe call-back service but all I got was a computer phoning me up, and no person available.

Please try couple of probable solutions as mentioned below:
Solution 1:
1. Close Elements.
2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Solution 2: In case any network printer is attached try to launch without network or printer uninstall or make different printer as default.
Solution 3: Try launching with anti-virus off or removing PSE from conflicting list.
Solution 4:
On the drive on which you have installed PSE,on my machine it is on C:
Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Locales\<locale>\Plug-Ins\Import-Exportand you will find twain plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere else.
Now launch PSE and check if it works.

Can't Install Mountain Lion - Disc doesn't use GUID. How will i make it work?

I just bought and downloaded Mountain Lion,
but when i try to install it on my Macintosh HD, it says that the Disc doesn't use GUID.
How will i make it work?

I'll explain a bit what is going on so you will understand.
Storage and boot drives have instructions at the begining that tell firmware and hardware what partitions are on the drive and their format, among other things.
This is called a Partition Table or Map, and there are different types. One is GUID (GPT) that Mac's and OS X uses now to boot from and Master Boot Record (MBR) that is used with older Windows XP PC's and files drives today come with.
Somehow your Partition Table got changed from GUID to MBR, how this occured is unknown but you have been able to use the computer and OS X until today.
To change the Partition Table requires all data on the drive to be removed as basically the map is going to be changed so the parittions (even if one) on the drive is going to lost it's "map".
Despite what Disk Utility tells you, you have two partitions on the 10.6 boot drive, a hidden EFI partition also exists. (and in 10.7/10.8 there is yet another called Recovery)
So EFI is going bye bye along with the OS X partition, however you can clone the OS X partition to another drive either using Kappy's method, or Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper.
So you first need to format a powered, blank extenral drive using Disk Uility (select the drive makers name and disk size on teh far left) with a Partition > Options GUID and Format OS X Extended Journaled, quit, then use CCC to clone the OS X Macintosh partition to the extenral drive.
Once this is completed you can hold the option key down to boot from this external drive and check it out. You also should make a drag and drop copy of your files to yet another drive as a extra safety net. Disconnect this last drive.
Now what you want to do is while booted from the clone is use Disk Uility to format the INTERNAL drive the same way you did the clone drive, with a GUID and OS X Extended Journaled.
Now use CCC to clone the external drive to the internal drive, while option key booted from the external drive. When that's finished you need to change the name of the external drive to something else preferablly.
When your done, disconnect the drives and reboot, set the Startup Disk in System Preferences to the internal drive.
If you get a flashing question mark upon boot, hold the option key down and select the drive to boot from then repeat the above step.
Now you should have a GUID partition table and ready to upgrade to 10.8.

When I'm at my home, and on my Wifi, my 4G icon on my LG G2 is still present. No big deal. If the bits can flow via WiFi, that's what they'll do.
You might try (if you really MUST shut off the cellular radio):
Settings, Network Connections and More networks. Select Mobile Networks and uncheck Mobile data and data roaming.
Not sure if that will work - but give it a try.

Just in case you are not running iOS 7 and don't have the control center feature.....
If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it and you are running iOS 5 or 6, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left.
If you are running iOS 7, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to the control center and the lock icon is in the row of icons at the top all the way to the right.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the button

Unfortunately, the recording & movie industry does not respect the rights of the people who make them money, and thus you can only use the paid-for content in ways they see fit. Even if I lived in a bunker where no one else could possibly see the movie I paid for, therefor I'm not 'sharing it illegally', I would still not be allowed in a blue moon to copy that movie to DVD for TV viewing. Someone will tell you to get an AppleTV. How about Apple give us one for free? Until this changes, people wanting to use their content in multiple locations will continue to download music & movies via torrents, legally or illegally.

Thank you for your time Woody. Recently the Mac seems to freeze a lot, seemingly due to a problem with the airport, especially if the computer is inactive for anything more than a few minutes. Then yesterday I suddenly couldn't send or receive messages so I got in touch with my server and they reconfigured the mail account. I can now receive messages but can't send them, always getting a timed out message when I try to send an email. I phoned the server again and they said it must be a problem with Mail as we tried sending a message online from the server's webpage and it worked fine, so they suggested I reinstall Mail. So hence my original question. Sorry for the rambling! I'm not very computer minded.
