MyBookLive 2TB und Amazon Fire TV KODI + Einstellungsproblem

Hallo.

Danke

  • Recent Spotify Connect problems on Amazon Fire TV

Hello! after the recent update to the Amazon Fire TV I am no longer able to use Spotify Connect on the Fire TV.When I initiate a connection from my cell phone (Android, Nexus 5) Sporitfy Connect launches, but ends up in an error message "Hm. Irgendwas ist schiefgelaufen. Probiere es noch mal." (german) ("Uups, something went wrong. • Changed Routers No Connectivity for Amazon Fire TV

Recently purchased the ActionTec M1424WR router from Verizon, replacing the Westell 9100 EM I have been using for years.  Amazon Fire TV worked great until I installed the new router.  Fire TV is connected with micro HDMI to TV.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Are you connecting the Fire tv to the router wireless or by ethernet? Have you gone into the Fire tv's settings and reset the network?

  • Simple question: Are Creative Cloud apps currently or will be compatible with the new Amazon Fire phone?

Simple question: Are Creative Cloud apps currently or will be compatible with the new Amazon Fire phone? My friend owns one and says since it's a fairly new operating system that nothing is compatible except the Amazon apps. Is this correct and does Adobe plan to support that OS in the future?

If that uses the Android operating system, anything for Android works
    Mobile Apps
As far as future plans, I don't work for Adobe so have no idea

  • When will single edition apps be available on Android, Amazon Fire, and Blackberry Playbook?

When will single edition apps be available on Android, Amazon Fire, and Blackberry Playbook? This is very important as we were told we would soon be able to publish on all devices and not just using the in-app service. My company is currently using the Professional Edition of Adobe DPS.
    Thank you and best wishes,
    Alex Rullo

Single-Folio-Apps (created with the Single-Edition or a professional licence) include the folio itself — resulting in a big app size.
Currently, the Android Market has a 50MB limit for .apk-Apps. (http://www.google.com/support/androidmarket/developer/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=113469)
At the Google IO this year they talked about raising this limit up to 4GB, but that is more complicated. the app itself still has 50MB of allowed size, but there are additional data handled by the android market that can be downloaded upon starting the 50MB .apk app from the android market.
that targets games mostly. Adobe has to think about a way to split up viewer and content to make use of this feature.
However, Multi-Folio-Apps are currently possible (only with Pro Edition) on Android. They are relatively small (2-5 MB) and the .folios are comming from the adobe servers (download costs!). You need to create a new role/magazine in the account administration and publish your app as a multi folio app.

  • Amazon Fire TV will not connect to Airport Extreme

I received the Fire TV unit last weekend, hooked it up, it found my secure network, but when I enter the network password it (Fire TV setup) spins awhile then the message "connection to "network name" failed; please try again". I called amazon support who tried a number of things, but all failed. They sent a 2nd unit to me yesterday, hooked it up, etc, etc ... same result.
I do have the Apple TV and an amazon Kindle Paperwhite, connected to the network and don't remember any issues with setup. Even my Samsung Note II (with the right app) connects with no issues.
Amazon support has now turned me over to Apple, but my support expired 2 years ago.
BTW, firmware on the Airport is up to date. I'm running OSX 10.6.8.
    Can anyone help with this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Don

Welcome to the wireless tech voodoo area..
Here is where you don your carved demon mask and start sacrificing chicken livers to the gods of ether. Placating the evil spirits of ether (angry that you are not using ether-net) will make life hard until they get their fill of fresh pate.
What airport are you talking about?? Actual model A1xxx from the base please?
I recommend a new clean setup.. make sure all names are short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.. 10 brownie points for names of 10 characters or less.
Please also name the wireless bands separately and in the same manner.. eg.. base station name.. AEgen4 (use a number of actual gen) wireless name AE24ghz and AE5ghz .. then use passwords with the same rules.. mix of case and numbers only.. pure alphanumeric. 8-20 characters.
But do a test first with no password.. does it connect?
This is a crucial test.. failure to connect to a short name with no password is a sign of fundamental dysfunction and even chicken livers won't help.
Last action in the piece, set the wireless channels.. stick to 2.4ghz and try channels 11, 9, 6 in that order.
If all fails.. sorry it is not compatible. If it works immediately add security.. wpa2 Personal should work.. but if not try wpa1.
If it all fails you can add a cheap wireless AP to the network.. post how you go and if you need further help to do that.

  • Are WiFi hotspots compatible with Roku or Amazon Fire for streaming to HDTV?

These services state they require a wireless router connected to cable or DSL; is a wifi hotspot sufficient to allow connectivity?

Yes, they are compatible.  Your Roku or Amazon devices will be able to connect to them just like any other wireless router.
However, connecting to a streaming TV service on Verizons data plans is not advisable (assuming you are not a legacy unlimited customer).  It is way too easy to go over your data cap by watching HD TV content.  Traditional DSL or Cable service providers are much more appropriate for connecting with a streaming TV device due to their high or non-existent data caps.  Beyond that the wireless devices are prone to misc. disconnections resulting in an unpleasant viewing experience.  Cable and land line TV services are much better in this area too.
If you can keep your data plan under control and are alright with the occasional glitch in service then go for it.  But don't say we didn't warn you.

  • Creating in app-purchases for Amazon Kindle Fire

    Dear Adobe Community,
    my settings so far:
I'm using the InDesign CS6 Digital Publishing Suite,
    running on a Professional Subscription.
And ran into some problems with the Amazon Fire in app-purchase system. Let me explain:
My multi-folio app is currently running on Apple iOS and Android and was - accordingly - successfully published into the Apple Store and Google Play.
Now, the next step was the publishing on Amazon Kindle Fire via the Amazon Developer Console.
The viewer is running fine, no problems there; the same goes for the free folio.
On the other hand, the in app-purchases won't. The in app-purchase is submitted, the Amazon Developer portal marked it as "Live", but it won't appear in the viewer.
According to this discussion: Amazon in App & Subscription Purchases it is necessary to match the Amazon SKU number with the Product ID in the Folio Producer, which I did. Do I still have to contact Amazon to achieve a successful launch?
    Viele Grüße from Germany,
    Maximilian

DPS no longer supports Amazon in-app purchases.

  • U Verse speed recommendation for Fire Stick

We have several Amazon Fire Sticks. I currently have U-verse Elite and am wondering should I upgrade to a faster internet speed for maximum viewing/performance? What speed do you that own Fire Sticks recommend please?

Without having any idea of where you live, or any inside knowledge of AT&T's expansion plans, there's not a whole lot we can tell you.
One option AT&T provides is this, though it could turn out pricey:

    Other carriers have similar offerings.

  • Amazon in App & Subscription Purchases

    I was reading:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/900/cpsid_90052.html#main_About_retail_content_for_the_Amazon_App store
"The Amazon Appstore includes support for in-app purchases and subscriptions. However, these options are not available to the general public at this time. To make retail content available, consult directly with Amazon."
Does this mean it is possible to do in-app and subscriptions? How is this done?

Yes, it works. Amazon has made in-app purchases and subscriptions available on their Developer site. For testing purposes, I created a subscription app for the Amazon Fire (Northwest Scenery). Everything works. Instructions are here:

  • Sideloaded Custom Viewer (Multi-Issue) crashes after splash on KINDLE FIRE

We have successfully used the Adobe Digital Publishing suite and pushed our application to the iTunes App Store and the Android Marketplace.
Now, however, we are using the Viewer Builder to create an APK for the Amazon App Store.
The Viewer Builder process is the same as for the Android, and we are able to download and sign the YOURAPPNAME-AndroidViewer.apk.
We have sideloaded the APK to the Kindle Fire and succesfully installed it - but on load it REPEATEDLY crashes after the Splash screen.
These two comments also indicate the SAME BEHAVIOR:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4050646#4050646
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4098598#4098598
...and they are from over a month ago.
The Kindle Fire is already, in only 3 months, the biggest and fastest selling Android tablet.
I haven't seen anything on the Adobe site or elsewhere about anyone having published a Viewer-Builder-built custom viewer to the Kindle Fire.
So... What is the status, Adobe?
    <3,
    A patient customer.

It's odd to say this, but that crash on the Amazon Fire is actually working as designed. The .apk file you create is built to allow for in-app purchases (even if it's free). If you sideload this unwrapped .apk file to your Fire, it will crash because -- as I understand it -- Amazon still hasn't enabled in-app purchases yet, so the unwrapped .apk file is basically looking for a sandbox that doesn't exist. However, if you submit the .apk file to Amazon, they will wrap it, and it should work as designed. If you want to test it, you can ask Amazon to send you the wrapped version, but it's easier just to submit it and test the live version before you announce its availability.
I went through this process with my DPS Tips app. It's now approved and in the Amazon Appstore. I haven't updated the publishing process doc yet. I was hoping to wait until Amazon got its subscriptions and in-app purchases up and running.

  • Unterschiede der 2,5 Zoll, 2TB ext. HDD's

My Passport 2. Elements 3. My Passport Ultra 4. My Passport X (5. (My Passport Wireless - ist klar)

    1. Smartware Software, Datenträger Verschlüsselung
    2. Keine Smartware Software, keine Datenträger Verschlüsselung
    3. Smartware Software, Datenträger Verschlüsselung, andere Ästhetik gegenüber der regulären Passport.
    4. Für die XBox One Console geeignet.

  • Adobe Muse: Kauf- und Verkaufsoption?

    Hallo,
