The ipod was restored to factory settings and now it wont do anything except show the apple symbol and flash white. Then iTunes says it can't connect because of an unknown error.

iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID. -

I do not have a solution, just the same complaint. ***! ! I just used the iTunes store 2 weeks ago and now, after reviewing everything they asked for including ID/Pass/ Account Info etc. I can't even get into the store. I have tried asking at the Mac store and it has all been to no avail. I was perfectly happy with iTunes before all of this ********... seriously what is the issue with iTunes? They ask me to upload a new version (with no system specs anywhere that I can find on the page) and then say it can't utilized because of system inadequacy. It is exceedingly frustrating.

No judgment here on the music you listen to, I have that song too in my library. If iTunes is telling you that the song is missing and you purchased it from the iTunes Store, then just delete it from your iTunes library and then download your song again. Since I installed the new operating System, my search feature does not work. I can only search my ipad. None of the search engines work in Safari. How do I fix it?
Just just to make sure, you do not see something like this when you try to do a search in Safari?
Try clearing Safari in Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and data. Then close Safari. Double tap the home button and drag the mini Safari window up toward the top of the screen in the multitasking display in order to close the app. Now reboot the iPad. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple Logo appears on the screen.
Try Safari again.
The Spotlight Search feature on the iPad search) no longer searches the web, that is simply the way that Spotlight works now. Sort of a backwards move IMO but somewhat typical of Apple these days. -

Login of my application is not working on testing server only.
It is working fine on Google chrome and firefox, On few machine's which is having IE11, it is working.
but not on IE10,IE9 and all lower version,it's not working.
While Login, we use custom membership provider.
After checking the code, its giving problem with below code.
authenticated = HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.IsAuthenticated;
The above authentication is not working for IE only.(The code is working fine on production server but not working on testing server)
Please guide us on the same.

The code was working before but suddenly it is not working on IE on testing server only. On chrome and firefox its working.
I moved the code on production and integration server, and it is working properly on other server's. I am not getting the issue with testing server. only
on testing server the value of "HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.IsAuthenticated" is getting false after successfull login.

Greetings, I am working in Final Cut Pro 7. In the timeline some clips show as offline. I tried going to sequence and reconnecting to media but it does not work. I can still see the video in the timeline and work with it. It just has the red box. Thanks! Olga
If the clips are not actually missing, you could try to refresh the timeline by using cmd-0 and then going to the timeline options tab. Then select name only where it says "thumbnail display". Press ok to accept the change, then repeat the process to add thumbnails back to your timeline.

The troubleshooting steps detailed below can help get your iPhone back into working order.
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge until your device turns on. This could take between 10 and 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.

I have had the exact same issue but with a projector.
The issue lies with Mountian Lion 10.8.2.
I tried many a combination with no luck to get HDMI working.
Took my mac into the apple store and came to the conclusion it was the software, so I asked them to install 10.8 onto it (this is destructive so a backup is a must)
Bought my macbook home and voila, now displaying through my projector.
There is a small graphics update after 10.8.1 which seems to be the cause.
