How to Play Downloaded PBS Episode on Widescreen TV?
How do I play a downloaded PBS video ("Endeavor") on my widescreen TV? I used the itunes PBS app to access the episode and have it on my Ipod touch, version5.1.1 (9B206), Model MC008LL. Itplays fine on the Ipod, but I want to view it on my Samsung widescreen. There is no information on my Video Settings to suggest how this can be done.
It appear you have a 3G iPod. For up and including the 4G iPod, TV out only works with apps that support TV out. It appears that the PBS apps does not support TV out. If it did the description in the App store would say so.

Had to uninstall Firefox as it stopped working. The went to website and downloaded Firefox once more. Pressed the .exe and the file went through the installation okay, but when I tried to open Firefox I get:
Error: platform version5.0 is not compatible with

maxVersion < = 6.0
The only option i have is to press OK and nothing else happens.
Can you offer any help - it is beyond me and I am missing Firfox and have lost all my bookmarks.The updater wasn't able to update all the files and some were left as older versions.<br />
Do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 6.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox. -
My IPAD 3 [5.1.1 (9B206)] has a problem.
- It restarts every three (3) minutes: it goes out then comes back but lost the previous page (auto lock is set to 15 minutes)
- It can no longer connect to the mobile network orange except Wireless (WIFI)Not normal. Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.

What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Does iTunes see the iPod?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

If iTunes does not see the iPod:

- I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

I have an older IPad -Version 5.1.1 (9B206) Model MB293LL - Which I am resetting and I cannot find any Apps (Basic games) that I can download since I can't upgrade to version iOS 7.0 Is there a place to look for compatible Apps? So far I have found one but I'm sure there are more out there. Could anyone help me find where they would be?

Some developers allow you to download older compatible versions of their apps, so if there is a game that you'd like (and it's free to download) then you could try downloading the current version of it on your computer's iTunes so that it's in your account's purchase history and then see if you can download an old compatible version via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPad. If the game is paid-for then check with the developer first to see if it'll work for their game, don't buy it first and then find that it doesn't. -

Remote sharing is on. Verified my account and password are same. When I launch remote I get the "Turn on Home Sharing in iTunes on your computer or on Apple TV using the account [email protected]"
If I go to settings, I see home sharing is on, and it says "Remote will autonatically find the iTunes libraries and Apple TV's that have Home Sharing turned on using the account [email protected]
Just to test connectivity, I clicked on "Add an iTunes Library to add a computer that is NOT using home sharing and it gives a code, and under devices on iTunes, you see "iPAd". So iTunes recognizes the iPad.
But what it SHOULD do is automatically connect, because Home Sharing is on, and I've put in a valid ID and password on the iPad.
I can launch Remote on my iPhone 4, right next to it, using same ID, and it works fine
On both devices, ios is 5.1.1 (9B206) Remote is 2.3 (379)
It sounds like an issue with the iPad2 itself
As I was typing this out, I got to thinking about any router changes I had made.
I remembered that recently I had changed my WLAN settings from WPA2 Personal and AES algorithm to Mixed WPA/WPA2 Personal and TKP & AES algorithm. But this was before I setup the iPad2, so it may not have any bearing. But because I was thinking about it.........
So even though WIFI seemed to be working OK for everything, I removed my automatic connection to my WIFI, and recreated the connection, and Remote came right up when I launched it.Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I have tried as you suggested, and when opening the "purchased" apps some have the icloud logo next to them, but I only have "OPEN" against "Find My iPhone". When opening it up, it goes through the same routine; needs to be updated before proceeding, and wouldn't update because I don't have IOS8.
Anything else I could try, or am I doomed!

Once the keyboard is connected, it should work with any app that uses the standard keyboard interface, so it will work with iWork.
