MyRIO standalone application not working, but works well when connected to PC (NI vision + webcam)
Hi,
I have a program that can detect motion that occurs in my room using a webcam and will send a picture to my gmail account if motion detected. The program works fine when myRIO is connecting to PC (with the webcam connects to myRIO). However, after I created a standalone application, it's not working. Even the VIs within the first frame of the flat sequence (turn LED on) was not working. The standalone program will work if I disable all of the vision-related VIs. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I got the driver installed and the webcam connected, so that shouldn't be an issue.

I have a 30 GB version of the same. I also got some external speakers for it, UBL I think they are called. I find there is something very odd about whether you charge it up or not. It seems to over-charge sometimes, and then everything freezes. As for connecting to the PC, no chance. After an initial burst on another machine, and after installing itunes on this computer, there is no recognition of the one by the other at all. Plus freezing and locking up. Plus freezing the PC as well, it is very tedious. So no answers, only commiserations. I think Apple are doing a very poor job on this ! And their help facility seems quite hopeless !

Hi, my ipod nano works perfectly well when connected to my laptop, but won't even switch on when it's stand alone. Battery is showing as fully charged. Anyone know if/how I can fix this? Thanks
Take the iPod N ano to your local Apple Store or an AASP to be examined.

I have factory restored my 1pad 3 loaded ios8 - wifi works, safari works but it won't connect to the app store or iTunes citing 'not connected to internet' any ideas?
Reset the iPad and try again. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Let go of the buttons, let the iPad start up.

In Numbers, I copied a worksheet and deleted the contents. The sheet I copied has a header. I can't see it or bring it up when I'm working but it appears when I print the sheet. How do I delete the header?

Headers are not shown in normal view.
Menu > File > Print to open Print View.
Hover the cursor over the Header to see the outline. Click and delete.

Alright, so my ipod touch stopped working, but I can still connect it to itunes, but my friend gave me his old nano. I was wondering how I could get my more updated songs from my ipod touch onto th nano. My laptop crashed whitch had all my new music, and im afraid if I sync my Ipod touch to the desktop with all my old songs, ill lose all my newer ones which I dont want to happen because I want them on my nano. Im sorry for the confusing topic im just so lost.
All you have to do is connect your new iPod to the computer that has the library for your old iPod.
When iTunes comes up, click on your new iPod under Devices.
At the top of the Summary Page click Music.
Click Synch Music.
Do the same thing for Photos, Apps, Movies and so on...
Now just synch the iPod. -

ipad does not come on once its unpluged from power source,it enters recovery mode when both power and home botton are pressed with usb on powersource but does not come up at all when connected to computer or out of power source
What model iPad do you have? If it's an iPad 1, the battery may have expired and needs replacement.

i fitted new battery but it won't charge. when plugged into wall socket gets to itunes setup but no further. when connected to computer not enough battery to turn on to get into setup. Any ideas please?

It sounds very very much like the battery. You will need to have it replaced. If you put the failing one in yourself you will need to pay as your Warranty is now void.

when I search - the search results show and i can view the emails, but inbox doesnt download emails - says load more messages x read..
the folders are displaying ok.
Smartermail 2 is about 10 years old ( im not upgrading as its working fine other than this issue ) imap is fine with other mail clients.

Will not recognize the Lucid LG when connected with USB
My Dell will not recognize the Lucid LG when connected with USB. Both the computer and phone gives a split second prompt that they are connected but then goes away immediately. After reconnecting it several times however it will finally recognize the mass storage. How can I get away from the hassle of multiple re-connections before it finally recognizes that connection?
That's some helpful information about your issue samrmusso! Some recommendations that I have for you is to try a different USB port on the computer to see if it isn't an issue with that specific USB port. Are you using the cable that came with the device (recommended) or a 3rd party cable (may not support data transfering properly)? You can also try restarting both the device and computer and retest. You may have to force your iPad into recovery mode in order to restore the device since the update did not complete. This article explains how to do that.
