Mysql Mac Mountain Lyon

I have problems to reinstall MySQL on Mac OS X after it was running on my system.
I uninstalled it because the PreferencePane wasn't working as expected, using the procedure described here: http://akrabat.com/computing/uninstalling-mysql-on-mac-os-x-leopard/
When trying to reinstall MySQL Mac OS X ver. 10.6 (x86, 64-bit), DMG Archive version using the PKG-installer, it says "The installation failed"
Here are the complete logs of the installation:
I will really appreciate any help

Don't install the startup item package. Those things were deprecated years ago.

  • How do I get my mac mountain lion to stop saying, "You shut down your computer because of a problem?

My Mac Mountain Lion desktop computer keeps saying, "You shut down your computer because of a problem." How do I keep this from happening?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.
Select the most recent panic log under System Diagnostic Reports. Post the contents — the text, please, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header and body of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don't post shutdownStall, spin, or hang reports.

  • Problems installing PE 4.0 in Mac, Mountain Lion

Since I have CS 4 running on my McBook (Snow Leopard) I don't need PE 4.0 anymore. I wanted to install Photoshop Elements 4.0 on my new Mac (Mountain Lion). When I tried, it ran through all of the necessary installation steps with one exception. I wasn't asked to type in the product key. When everything was installed I got the message: "Due to an unknown error installation failed". I don't understand why. The programme was legally purchased when I bought the old Mac. Why shouldn't I be able to install it on another computer?

same answer, your os is not compatible with pse 4.
you are entitled to pse 12 with upgrade pricing so make sure you keep your pse 4 serial number, http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/buying-guide.displayTab3.html

Is its possible to enable GPU in after effects cs6 on mac mountain lion with Intel HD 4000?

No, OpenGL Swap Buffer support (Level 1) support for the HP4000 is for Windows only. Level 2 and 3 support is not available either. You'd need a more powerful NVIDIA card for Level 1, 2, and 3 feature support.

  • Is Photoshop elements 11 compatible with Mac Mountain lion?

Is Photoshop elements 11 compatible with Mac Mountain Lion?

the older version of Photo Shop is no longer supported.
Don't know which version you mean, but if you mean PSE, then versions 6 and up will work.
You can't migrate any version of PSE, though, from one disk to another. It must be installed freshly on each machine, since adobe doesn't care about the apple developer guidelines and PSE is not a tidy mac app package--the PSE installer strews stuff all over your hard drive, and you can never move it and get all the necessary bits.
What I was talking about is if you had a computer with 10.6 or 10.7 and PSE installed on it and then upgraded to mountain lion. In that case it's essential to go into the user library and delete any existing preference files before running it after installing 10.8.
The instructions to install PSE in mountain lion are to put the disc the drive or to double click the downloaded .dmg file to mount it, and then to run the installer.

I would like to have your kind support..Bootcamp windows7 freezing on start up and taking around 40 minutes to load. Mac mountain lion also taking around 5 minutes to load on start up.

My first step would be to get rid of "Norton protection". Boot from your OS 10.6 disc, navigate through your hard drivve and trash anything that is Norton. Empty the trash.
Next, run Disk Utility and ask it to repair the hard drive.

  • Can't access Cisco Connect app since I've upgraded to Mac Mountain Lion

I've been searching for a while to resolve this and can't find any new software downloads for my Valet (M10).  Ever since I upgraded to Mountain Lion, the Connect app doesn't work.  Is there a place I can download an update?
    Thanks.

Unfortunately, there’s no available update yet for Cisco Connect for Mac Mountain Lion. The Linksys website shows that it is compatible with the Mac Lion. I have been waiting for the Mac Mountain Lion update, too. We can only wait then for the update to be posted. For now, you can make use of the router’s user interface (http://192.168.1.1) should you need to make changes on it such as the wireless settings.

Before I come on this forum, I went to MAMP support
There is no direct support for MAMP free of charge version, So I joined
the MAMP forum and I try to find answer:
    - most af topics are in German language (I dont speak German language)
    - other are focused on matching MAMP and leopard and are old fashons
    (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010)
    - I didn't find recent post based on Mountain Lion matching MAMP
Yesterday I went to Lyon (France) with my MAC  to meet Apple center people in order
to show concretly the problem. We spent 1h30 and Apple people didn't understand
why MAMP dosn't operate properly and  why the local server is not available
(they made a lot of test in live).
This morning, I called Apple care support to meet an "expert" . He dosn't know MAMP

    So I make rounds..

  • PSE 11 not compatible with Mac Mountain Lion?

Before I upgraded to Mountain Lion and bought PSE 11, I checked to make sure they were compatible.  Sure enough, on the Photoshop package it says it runs on" Mac OS v. 10.6 through v. 10.8".  At the beginning of my "installation" I got a message saying I couldn't use the PSE 11 Install application "because Power PC applications are no longer supported."  When I researched this problem online I found that all the geeks know that you can't install PSE 11 on a Mac running Mountain Lion because Mac no longer has Rosetta, a dynamic binary translator for Mac OSX that allowed Power PC applications to run.
Since Rosetta hasn't been on new Macs since Snow Leopard (2008), wouldn't you think Adobe would invent an Install.app that wasn't Power PC?  Or do they hate Apple? (I've heard they do.)

Dianaapp this could also be an indication that your installation media has become damaged.  Can you please try copying the install files to your desktop and see if you receive a disk error?
If you do or as an alternative you can download and install Photoshop Elements 11 from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=us.
I have installed Photoshop Elements 11 on two Macs running 10.8 and my own Mom just upgraded to 10.8 and was able to install Photoshop Elements 11 successfully as well.

  • Dreamweaver and Java SE 6 Runtime problem on MAC Mountain Lion OSX

I have a problem with dreamweaver. I really love dreamweaver for building web pages and have used it for years with a PC.  I recently switched from a PC to a MAC but I find that when I open the Dreamweaver app for the first time I get a prompt that says something like "You must download Java SE 6 runtime, would you like to install it now?"   I click yes, and the download fails.  I called Apple about it, they said the software resides on Oracle's Java web site, and its out of their control.  I go to the Oracle Java web site it says "Apple supplies their version of Java SE 6 runtime and there's no way to download it from the Java.com site.  All this means is that YOUR software does not work on my MAC because these two companies can't agree on who suppies this software.
What I need to know is HOW DO I GET DREAMWEAVER TO WORK?  How do I get around this crazy *** catch 22 situation?  And why doesn't your software recognize Java SE 7 runtime?

I'm in the same boat with you. I recently used Time Machine to backup my profile and then wiped my entire drive and installed Mountain Lion. After importing all of my data with the Migration Assitant, Dreamweaver will NOT open.
SnakEyez02, Oracle's website does NOT have the dowload. The link you posted is to version 7. We've been down this road already. Martiantime is correct, neither Apple nor Oracle are providing Java SE 6, but Dreamweaver is crying to have it installed.
So, Adobe, how do we get out of the hole that we did not dig?
