I have MySQL RDS in Amazon Web Services. Can I setup monitoring in EM12c for that? My version of EM12c is 12.1.0.4 and my version of MySQL is 5.6.22

Access to MySql Database in the Web Service

In my j2me web service project, i want to access to MySql database in the web service and
my installation is
Tomcat 5.0 for Java WSDP,
Java Web Services Developer Pack 1.5,
MySql Server 5.0 and environment variables are adjusted...
server.xml where is in "C:\tomcat50-jwsdp\conf" is adjusted like this

If you see closely, the productID is actually a concatenation of the areaID and the productID. The reasoning here is that a product can be in multiple nodes of the product catalog and one would need to specify the product on a particular node for the direct URL to work.
On a client site, we came up with a better solution by creating a new FM to retrieve the specific areaID and productID for a product. This FM could be called by extending the webshop. Then a .NET program was written to re-direct a shortened form of the URL to the long URL and therefore the specific product in the product catalog. Eg.: http://yyyyy.com/b2c/b2c/product would be automatically redirected to http://yyyyy.com/b2c/b2c/init.do?shop=<shop name>&areaID=<area Guid>&productID=<product Guid>, something similar to the concept behind "tinyurl.com". A point to remember here is that this would work only for the B2C webshop.

Persisting legal FMS 5.0 licenses on Amazon Web Services through future up-sizing?

I am running the developer version Flash Media Server 5.0.1 (Windows) on a x64 Amazon Web Services small instance VM. The starter AMI for the server was one of the stock AMIs built by Amazon.
I have a shiny new license for FMS Professional but not yet applied to FMS.
I want to apply the license now and continue running as a small instance until I need more performance. Eventually I will want to gradually and periodically up-size it to increasingly larger AWS instances.
Is this possible with the FMS license?
Will I have any issues of invalidating the license because the underlying hardware configuration changes?
What will I need to do to ensure that I can upsize the same server (not create a new one) without invalidating the FMS license?
What other issues should I know about that I am too ignorant to ask?

I understand that I must terminate one instance.
I am not trying to run two instances (virtual computers) with a single AMS license.
Are you saying that I can freely "move" the license from one instance to another as long as the license is applied to only one instance (server) at a time?
I need to know if changing the number of virtual cpus and/or the ram will invalidate the AMS license activation.

Migrate oracle database to Amazon web services

Has anyone migrated an existing oracle database 11g or higher to the AWS Amazon web services ?
I don't believe we can use AWS's RDS Oracle service so we would have to customize it.
We are presently on a linux server and use Oracle Flexible Arch.
How do you tell/set AWS to replicate the file names and directory that oracle would use?
Appreciate any tips or documents that you can point me to.

I have to write a java application for Amazon web service. It has to send the ISBN number of a book and receive the lowest selling price.
I am a good java programmer but never used web services before. Familar with XML (parsing).
1. Could anyone please give me a rough estimate of how long it would probably need to implement that?
2. Which software packages will I need? Is Tomcat really necessary?

If the Amazon Web Service has a pubclished WSDL, you can use tools such as JAX-WS (http://jax-ws.dev.java.net) to do most of the work for you.

Is there a tutorial for hosting CF on Amazon web services?

Issue with OSI PI WCF Web Service with wshttpbinding

System Details:
SAP MII 14 SP4
OSI PI Web Service: PITimeSeries
I am having issue when trying to call OSI PI web service using http post. it is returning status 0 when i am using exception handler in BLS.
Same web service works fine with basichttpbinding (SOAP 1.1) but with wshttpbinding (SOAP 1.2) it is giving error.
Following are Web config binding details for web service.

I am not sure it could be the issue with passing windows credentials.
Did anybody consumed WCF web service with wshttpbinding with security mode as Message and clientCredentialType as Windows.
Also i was trying to pass MYSAPSSO2 SSO token to service in http post but first i am not sure if this is correct windows token and second which header property of service should be mapped and i am not sure that I am going into correct direction or not.
Please let me know what i am missing.

Calling Web Service with SOAP header from BPEL

I am calling a web service (with header information) from BPEL. In the Invoke activity, i created a header variable to pass the header information.
But, when i test the BPEL service, invoke activity fails because the header information is not being passed.

Invoke web service with DTO

Hey guys,
I am quite new in using BPEL. My first test worked fine, but know I have an issue, which I can not solve. Invoking web services with a basic return value is no problem. I could also you a dto object including some basic variables in order to invoke the web service without having problems.
But when I have a dto object as return value, I get the following exception.
Could someone give me a hint to fix my problem...that would be great!

     I am facing a deployment issue with Oracle ESB. I am trying to call an external Web Service with authentication from ESB SOAP Service. I build the Amazon EC2 successfully.
In amazonpayments, the amazon show me an Activation Key.
On Application Activation:
The screen give me following information.
Generate an Amazon Activation Key
An activation key may be required as part of an application's registration process. If your application requires it, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click on the Generate Key link to generate an activation key for an application.
Step 2: Copy the activation key.
Step 3: Click on Go to Application to access the application.
Step 4: Paste the activation key if and where the application specifies.
But in Adobe Flash Media Administration console, It is missing the License(Serial Key)
Does it need enter License(Serial Key)?
How can I use the Activation Key?

This Activation Key is only for identification purposes. In most cases, you will not have to use it. Once you subscribe to FMS on AWS, you are ready to go and use FMS AMI's.
Also, FMS on AWS does NOT require any License or Key. It works on a separate Licensing model.

Calling Reporting Services Web Service with jQuery possible?

is it possible to call the Reporting Services Web Service with jQuery? If yes, can someone post me a small example?
Background:
My plan is to create a html with a form which is also uploaded then into the reportserver. I open this html later by clicking a link in a report (with gotoURL open.window). The report opens the html inclusive the overtaken of some additional parameters
(reportname, reportdescription). These parameters I will use in the html-form as defaultvalues for the corresponding input-text-fields. Now the user can make some changes (i.e. the decription). With a click on a button I will send the new description to
the Reporting Services Web Service by using the SetProperties method, closing the html-window and reload the report. Important is that I want to upload the html also into the reportserver itself.
I have already found how to consume a web service via jQuery but with the Reporting Services Web Service I did not get it running in my tests.
