N 73-messaging sending problem

hi everyone....when i send a text msg, it does not go and
goes automatically to drafts...from drafts it can neither be opened
nor deleted....it happens in every 1 in 7 msgs i send
plz do help me

Try to clean the contacts on the back of the battery compartment cover - they indicate to the phone, that the protective camera cover has been opened.
If it does not help, then it might be that the circuit has been cut off, somewhere.

N8 message sender problem

Hi.
I have recently got my nokia N8. When I receive a call, the sender name (from my contacts ) gets displayed. however when the same sender sends me a message I don't see his name, I only see his number with the country extension +9613xxxxxx. Why is that? Any solutions to this bug?

There are few things that you can check.
1. First check whether the same happens for all the contacts or particular contacts.
2. Go to the contact and see how you have saved the Number, Any special characters appearers in the middle like () or - or check you have multiple entry of the same number under that contact
3. Check in call log How you have received the Number of your contact (Some operators leaves the first zero, some send an additional 1 in front, and So on, For example Say the Number is +967##### and you get it as 1967##### and you have saved it in contact as 1967####, then the name will be displayed when you get a call but not when you get a message. Usually we first store the number from the caller ID so it is possible most of your contacts are stored as the way you receive the number first) in that case i advice you to store all your numbers with the country code like +967#### so in both cases the name will be displayed in Nokia devices.

Txt message sending problem

Hi my nokia N95 isnt sending sms-TXT at all, I finsh the message then i add recipient,send, it says sending then nothing happens so i go into outbox the message is there and says resend at >time sends again> the same thing over again. I can send muitimedia message fine+Audio. strange!!

There maybe other than 1 an alternate there; try to edit it(1) to see the actual number(should be long digits). Call your provider to download it for you or ask them the exact message center number; or if you know someone with the same provider.

Problem in message sending of nokia 6080

my sim card is unable to allow message sending from most of the nokia 6080 mobile phones.but,my sim can send messages from all other mobile phones in the usual manner.i have sent my cell to one of the nokia care centres(job sheet number:319434038/070519/20
).what they are telling me is that the phone is working fine with their sim card.so i am in a dual situation----my cell doesnt respond to my sim,but my sim is working with other phones.in such a one to one sim-mobile intercompatibility problem,what am i supposed to do?my warranty is still on.can i get a new cell in return?please help.

Well u must have moved ur settings.. i would sugest a format or factory reset.. its only the problem that u must have changed ur messeage no or something..

I've restarted several times. If I restore from backup, unfortunately the backup was done after iOS7 downloaded. Now, am I wrong that "restore as new" will essentially wipe me out? If so, and having backup, you're saying essentially start over and then backup?

Message lost during Message Send in weblogic 9.2 JMS

I am using Weblogic Server 9.2 in a clustered environment (2 nodes in separate machines). The application deployed has ejb timers which picks up data from DB, and sends text messages (very small size as its just an ID) to a Queue (using the JMS APIs - QueueSender.send(message)). There is an MDB (with max-beans-in-free-pool) configured to be 20 listenting to this message. There might be 1-20 records picked up from the DB and the id of those records will be sent to the JMS Queue as separate JMS messages. i.e. QueueSender.send will be called as many times as there are record ids to send. The timer after sending the message to the queue sets the status of all the data it picked up to "Busy" in the same transaction as the message send. We are using XA driver and the JMS Connection factory is also XA enabled. We had problems with this XA transaction as weblogic sometimes sends the messages and before db commit happened to set the status to "Busy". We had a workaround to this problem by setting the JMS Connection factory setting "time to Deliver" to 300 so that the messages are visible to the MDB only after 300 ms thereby giving time for db commit to be over as per the suggestion in the following link. http://jayesh-patel.blogspot.com/. We had done this 2 months back and to date we find no problem.
Now we are facing another strange problem. The JMS sometime misses delivering the messages. This is evident from the logs we had printed from the MDB. The logs indicate some messages has reached the MDB and some did not. This problem occurs occasionally. Also what I see is that this had occured under normal load conditions only though this application operates under high loads (number of messages being processed per day may go up to 5000). In the last one month this had occured 3 times. The JMS messaging is becoming unreliable.
This seems to be a bug in Weblogic 9.2 JMS. Is there any workaround to prevent this problem. ?

It is doubtful that JMS is losing messages. Suggestions:
* Try increasing your sheduled message delay. 300 millis is a short delay -- any small network glitch, disk hardware issue, or even a single JVM GC in the JDBC driver can cause the database to take longer than 300 millis to complete its part of the transaction.
* Try "WebLogic JMS Message Lifecycle Logging" if you want to trace message activity.
* Instead of the delay, consider using WebLogic's Datasource "LLR" option, a commonly used solution to your use case. This is an optimization option that yields fully ACID (safe) transactions, and has the very nice side effect of deterministically forcing the TM to always commit the database portion of a transaction before committing any other resources participating in the same transaction.

It normaly only makes sense to have these values filled for services of type "Business System". If maintained in SLD, this fields will be filled automaticaly for services of type "Business System" and can be updated with the button "Compare with System Landscape Directory".</i>
- Give correct appserver and gateway service details in XI.
- Open the service holding the RFC adapter you are trying to use. On the top menu, goto Service -> Adapter Specific Identifiers..

A new clue to the Apple Mail sending problems?

In my continuing efforts to fix the SMTP/POP mail failures with Apple mail, I've noticed a glitch that some of you more advanced readers might be able to decipher.
After lots of fruitless messing around with port numbers, preferences, and keychain fix attempts, what did work for me (temporarily) was a cleaning out of all the servers listed on the mail account options window, and then putting the original names and other info back in. Somehow, the mail app is spontaneously generating multiple combinations of server names, usually the original server name, plus a user name, the server name again, or some other redundant combination.
As I use mail to manage two separate POP accounts, sometimes it also creates hybrid server names by combining the server/user name pieces across both accounts.
This appears to happen entirely on its own; I had mail working for about 90 minutes, then it fell into this problem again. I'll probably have to keep cleaning it out, like a boat owner scraping barnacles off the hull, until Apple offers some kind of a patch.
Has anyone else who has the nagging "can't send SMTP mail" problem seen this phenomenon in their server/account preferences specs? If so, any ideas on how to stop this madness?

You haven’t said what the problem was in your case, i.e. what error message did you get when sending, if any, whether the mail account and the associated outgoing (SMTP) server were provided by your ISP or by someone else, etc.
Mail doesn’t spontaneoulsy generate outgoing server entries, but it keeps information about outgoing (SMTP) servers in a separate list independently of the mail accounts themselves. The account settings just associate one of the available outgoing servers with each account. Deleting an account doesn’t remove from the list the outgoing server that was associated with it. Orphaned or dangling outgoing server entries (i.e. not associated with any account) sometimes cause weird sending problems, and could very well have been the problem in your case as well.
As you appear to have already found out, you may go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Account Information > Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), choose Edit Server List from the popup menu, and delete any servers that shouldn’t be there — the Edit Server List panel shows the account each outgoing server is associated with.

Message Send Failure - Only in one location

When sending MMS to ANYONE in my home town, It never goes through and results in a "Message Send Failure". Every once in a while it MIGHT work. I have full bars.. in fact, I can see the tower from my back yard with a clear line of sight. it's right next to my house. But it's only in this location. If i drive 10 mins down the road into the next town, where they have 3G... the picture goes through no problem. I can be in that other town, turn off 3G and just be on Edge.. and still.. the message and picture go right through.
Is this possibly a problem with the tower in my back yard? All my calls are crystal clear... just data seems to stink. I can surf the web rather slowly.. but all my text messages that have Multimedia attached never work. And this is with every OS version since the 3gs was released.

TS2755 Receiving "Message Send Failure" notification, but messages are going through?

For the past few days, I have been receiving a "Message Send Failure" after every iMessage that I send. The messages are going through, but I still receive the notification every time. I have restarted my phone, signed out of and back into iMessage, and reset my network settings. Nothing seems to be working. Anyone have a solution? I'm having the same problem on my iPad, which leads me to believe it's a problem with iMessage at large as opposed to a device problem. Thanks!

If you have others that are receiving your imessaging but not the group you are attempting to send to then do this:
Click on your text messaging area using imessaging enabled and then type a message to yourself. Do this test to verify that your imessaging apple server is working properly. IF you get the messsage back to you in BLUE this indicates to you that both the outgoing and incoming text messaging is working as imessaging. With this piece of information verified that will indicate there are connectivity issues with individuals or all that are a part of the group you are attempting to contact. Please do not conclude that at a point in time this communication worked via imessaging that there may be some in the group that are now having conectiviity issues of their own.

I also have that error for days and still no answer from java people here. I don't think they don't know really what they are talking about even people from sun don't know how to solve this problem.

MMS Message Send Failure

Well the topic pretty much explains the problem. Whenever I try to send a MMS Message, whether it be an existing photo or one just taken by the camera, the message will look like it's about to send, but right when it's on its way the error icon will pop up and I'll get a "Message Send Failure".

Could this have anything to do with the fact that I've been using the 1st Gen since it came out and AT&T might not have activated my MMS features?
