N 95-1 calender

Hello on my N95-1 my calendar does not open and also tried it in PC suite it says calendar not found did any one face this problem or has solved it.

panpara6, I also have N95, and I think that memory card slot is very imortant for one device. We all know that many times the connection between different phones and pc's is not quite good in some cases. So the information and file transfer with external memory, e.g. micro sd card, is far more reliable and common. I would stay on my N95 and I will buy 8gb micro sd card or higher.

Share my Entourage calender on one computer with users/login accts ???

Hi, I've been searching the forums, and only see answers on this topic for people on work networks/exchange. My issue is for a single home iMac with three users with separate login accts.
My problem is that I have a new iMac and I got office2004 and I would like all the members of my family to use this computer and share the "ENTOURAGE CALENDER" so we can all see who is doing/going what and when.
I can't seem to figure this out and I need some help!!!! Can anyone explain how I can achieve this simply to me?
I would greatly appreciate it.

There is no way to do that without a server being involved. I would recommend using Google Calendar to achieve something similar.

How to create a calender view in webdynpro java EP 7.0

I want to create a calender view in webdynpro,
Requirments are
1. it should be current month view
2. Below each day i want to show office in-time and out-time in two cloumns(these values will be coming tru RFCs).
ie

10am | 4pm
Is this possible in webdynpro java EP 7.0 ?

Hi Kumar,
If you are using EP7.0, there is no calendar UI element in webdynpro development. There is only date navigator UI element. This is demonstrated in the below article.

Como evitar re-envio de eventos do calendário?

Uso o Thunderbird e tenho o Ligthning instalado para usar o calendário do google como padrão. Quando recebo um convite para eventos e aciono o botão "accept" para confirmar o convite a registra-lo no Google Calendar, um novo evento é gerado no mesmo, mas o Google calendar cria o evento e dispara novos convites para todas as pessoas que estão listadas no convite original. Isto faz com que todos os participantes recebam 2 convites para o mesmo evento (1 da pessoa que gerou o convite e outro da minha box gmail porque o convite entrou no meu calendário). Como faço para que os convites que eu aceito (accepted) não repliquem novamente no google calendar?

Not getting saved in the calender

I have changed some work schedule in the calender say for the month of October and it showed "work schedule generated for 10 2011 " once i come out and generate a report its not displaying proper report. and if i go back and see the calender for the month i have changed it is not saved

This report is for batch generation of WSR and not changing the WSR. Internally itcalls the transaction 'PT01' only.

The cpu resources are only limited once the cpu's are 100% utilized. It is highly unlikely that dom0 will try to use 100% of a cpu, let alone all cpus. Only when there are no idle physical cpus would you run into issues.
You may want to try reducing the number of vcpus in the windows guest. I have seen reports from users claiming that having more vcpus in a windows guest causes it to run slower.

Display present day calender on display of E75

On a previous symbian Nokia phone I got my appointments for each day displayed on the desktop of my Nokia, so that I could read my calenda without opening the phone.
Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, how?

Go to Menu => Ctr.Panel => Settings => General => Personalisation => Home Screen Mode => Mode Settings => Home Screen applications. Check that calendar tick-box is checked and uncheck any other unnecessary components.

Issue in Calender Back up using NSeries and Nokia ...

I am using facing issue in backuping the calender entries of my Nokia N81-8 Gb using Nokia PC Suite 6.85.14.1 as well as Content Copier of NSeries PC SUite 1.6.

In Nseries PC Suite, it gave error message as A critical error occured (0x80100013)...bla bla something, so i tried with nokia pc suite, it didnot backed-up my calender entries... My machine is Windows XP 32bit SP-2. I Connected using USB.... Does anyone facing similar issues on your pc too...Or i am the only one?

Had the same problem with my N95 8GB. It worked on my laptop, but not on my desktop.
Then I installed Nseries v2.0 (it's in the Betalabs section)on my desktop and it works.

IPhone, calender, iCal, mail.app: probem inviting people to meeting

last night I downloaded the 3.0 Version. Everything runs fine but...
I tried the new feature to invite people to appointments in calender. On the first sight everything works fine. But then there where Problems.
My colleague received my invitation on his iPhone but the iPhone could not open the "winmail.dat".
We then tried it using mail.app, where the "winmail.dat" was visible. The content of the "winmail.dat" could not be opened. Therefore iCal.app could also not handle the invitation.
This feature is very important to me and surely to many others.
Could anybody tell me what went wrong?

Ah! after talking to different people we found out that this might be the support for Exchange 2007 from Microsoft.
What I have to tell is that we are using Zarafa as a replacement for Exchange.
Probably this will be tha cause for the missing functionality.
As far as we know the colleagues from Zarafa are working hard to update their Software.

Calender items open and hour later then the correct time that is Entourage

I currently am using Entourage version 12.1.5. In the last month anytime I receive a meeting invitation and accept it in Entourage, it shows up an hour later on my iPhone calender. This also occurs when I create a meeting in Entourage it also shows up an hour later.
If I accept the meeting on my iPhone, it does not sync with my Entourage calender.
In Entourage preferences under sync services I do not have Calenders or Address book checked since this caused multiple entries of contacts or events.
Anyone have this issue or know how to correct it? Thanks.

From my own experience I can say that your final question can be answered with "Yes"!
I have never known a compnay so bad at dealing with queries, issues, demonstrable faults etc. BT are useless as far as customer service is concerned.
My experience includes nealrly a year of them denying problems with my phone and broadband including, therefore, a charged visit that found nothing (after the most cursory check. A year later with no improvement the second engineer finally arrived after two no shows when i had taken leave to cover them - and no call of course, apparantly "The exchange cancelled the call as there is no fault" and found the wires on the telegraph pole feeding the lines to several houses had been trapped when a previous engineer had accessed it and was frayed making for an on-off signal.
This on top of hours and hours on the phone with this and with the mistimed/misquoted Infinity install and then isues with the speed and connection quality. Took weeks to sort and needed the speed to be throttled in order to give a more secure connection.
In all I estimate I have wasted perhaps 20 hours on phone calls, two days wasted leave, an unnecessary £100 ish call out fee etc. etc.
Did I mention that BT are useless? I'm off to Sky...

Have you even looked at the calendar app? Did you not notice the "Alert" field in the event details when you create a calendar event?

I am having problem with Comparing two Calender Objects which is having same Date value but time stamp is not same.when i printed as Calender.getTime()---->i found them as.

Cal2------>Wed Feb 28 00:00:00 IST 2007
Now the method:
While(Cal1.getTime().compareTo(Cal2.getTime()) ==0 ) is Evaluating false.
i dont want to be concerned with time stamp.i want condition to be true.
Please help me .thx in advance.

My comment was directed at the fact that you gave the same answer I did, only faster. There is no other way I am aware of that will be any quicker. Of course, that is looking at a small piece of code out of context, so there may well be a better way.

Date format is not working properly for Calender value help

Hi Experts,
We have two problems.
1. We want to change the format of date displayed. We want format of dd-MMM-yy. For that we have created one Simple
Type Dictionary Object with Displaying format dd-MMM-yy. It is working
fine for the non editable UI. But once I apply the dictionary type
object as data type for an input field, probem happens. Once the user
choose a date from calender value help the value in the input field is
coming like 01-011-12 not like 01-Jan-12.
The date format is not changing from the calender. But if we set the
display format of the dictionary object to MM-dd-yy or MM/dd/yy or
dd/MM/yy or dd-MM-yy the format conversion from calender to input field
is happening properly.
The only problem once we put MMM in place of MM for the input field
where user is selecting from a calender value help.
2. We want to restrict users from entering the value manually for date input field. The user
should be able only to enter value by selecting from calender value
help.
Please give suitable solution for these problems

How can i print my calender from the ipad with a windows laptop?

you can try to take a snap shot of the screen. to do this open your calendar, hold down the home key and quickly press & release the power button, release the home button the same as the power button..... if you do it right the screen will flash and you will hear a camera shutter sound. the snap shot will then show up in your pictures under the camera roll section. at that point you can print it to a wifi printer, or just email it you and print it out from your computer..... i don't know if there is any other way to "print" the calendar.

Variable based on calender dashboard prompt does not show in the report

i have at the dashboard a calender prompt for a column of date format and a pres variable for that value ('DAY'); i placed in the report a column of which content (fx) is @{DAY};
when i run the report the value of my variable is 0 instead of chosen calender day; the report gets filtered on the day, however only if data.day='@{DAY}; if i choose '<' or '>' it still filters on this one day; why is this happening and how can i work around?
