N series mainly N91 and 3G

With the N91 being 3G can the mobile be used on normal network (I used BT mobile)? I guess the same will be of the others in the N series.

All Nokia 3g phones are dual mode which means you can run as 2g, 3g or both! However, if the phone is network locked it may not accept a SIM that is 2g only, all generics will take 2g and 3g SIMs. If you are going to use a 2g only SIM then switch the phone to 2g only mode, it improves the battery life enormously!

The headline is very pretentious, I admit. However, I think I can now point to the problem. Many Lumia owners are baffled by the nature of their problems – they are unpredictable and intermittent and manifest themselves in many ways.
I am NOT talking about “static” bugs such as:
inability to charge the battery to 1,450mAh,
the problem to end a call or the impedance of head-phones and audio quality
Extremely slow start-up after battery drain to zero
For many of Lumia owners, the phones are perfectly usable, have decent battery life, and then, a series of strange problems out of the blue, you panic to identify what’s going on, switch everything off, hard-reset, etc. and wow, suddenly it looks OK, stable and jolly again, only to go into problems after a while.
The problems I am talking about are intermittent, unpredictable and are impossible to replicate at will, mainly classified as:
Freezes;
Self turning offs and self-restarts;
Intermittent drain of battery.
As above, it is not possible (at least for me) to replicate the conditions that cause problems intermittently, but I think that I now know at least one common thread – the “Current” in the “Battery Status” page in the “Diagnostic” page.
I found that during all the intermittent problems, no matter that I switch-off everything (including 2G rather than 3G) and even after hard-reset, the Current is higher than the “normal steady state” that I think is about 150-160mAh. Whenever the “Current (Discharging) is higher than 160 (after a brief transitional time), expect troubles.
I can only speculate that some “rogue” process is looping on the CPU in the background (unfortunately there is no Windows PC style “Task Manager” that can show all processes) – a possible support for this hypothesis is that the back of the device is warm and sometimes hot to touch ALWAYS when these kind of problems strike.
Why isn't Nokia updating us about this issue? Admission and promise to resolve it (if this can be solved – I wonder it other WP7 phones have similar problems, if yes, this is the end...) will keep many loyal customers to Nokia. We are getting tired of bugs and problems and only in the case of the battery, Nokia admitted it. Please Nokia, don’t push us into the arms of the iThing!!!

Its a strange issue but firstly you can check the power settings in the wireless card properties. Please go to Device Manager then right click on Wlan card ->Properties.
There you should find a Advanced tab. All settings should be set to Use default value and Highest.

How to develp a subreport in the same page of the main report and processed when is called

I am developing a report that includes a subreport.
therefore The report is made up by 2 sections:
1) Show a grid (several rows - may be 100 or more - and some columns). It represent high level info (Each row represent a specific item)
2) The user click on a Row/column (eg: Item1, to see details that must be shown as graph.
Here the problem: Searching info about SSRS reporting for subreports, drilldown, nested report and so on, no ones accomplish the requirements for the following reasons:
1) Subreports: NOT open in the same page. The user must <go back> to see detail for other items, such as Item 2....
2) Nested and DrillDown: Process data as the Main report (they are hidden and displayed after user action). In my case this leads to performance problem, because: if the main report has 200 objects (it means 200 graphs processed and hidden at the same time
for the main reports).
3) DrillThrough and Subreport: The detail data are processed only when the user select the interested item in the main report. Here the problem: the report is shown externally.
Please, it there any possibility to have a subreport (or anything else) to be executed in the same report as the main report and processed only when the user make action?

According to your description, there is a main report with more than 100 rows of summary information, when users click the item of the row, the report need to jump to detail information shows as graph. The problem you are facing is that you are not sure
subreport, drilldown or drillthrough report should be used? You hope to set display detail information in the main report and keep high performance of report.
In Reporting Services, each subreport instance is a separate query execution and a separate report processing task. Subreports are recommended when there are just a few subreport instances. We should not use subreports inside a group when there are many
group instances, instead, consider using drillthrough reports. Drilldown reports process all data even when the data is first hidden. In order to improve the performance of the report, we can split drilldown reports into parameterized drillthrough reports,
because Drillthrough reports do not run until a user clicks the drillthrough link in the main report.
In this case, we can consider using drilldown or drillthrough report. In drilldown report, when we click a plus or minus button to expand or collapse a section of a report, the detail data will be displayed in place. By using drillthrough report, when we
click the link in the main report, the detail data will be displayed, we can come back to the main report by click return button in the drillthrough report.

I learned that the Dock is positioned at the chosen edge of whatever Display is positioned farthest to that side. E.g. for the Dock to be positioned on the right side of the Cinema Display (instead of the right side of the MacBook), the Cinema Display must be oriented (by dragging) to the right of the MacBook monitor on the "Arrangement" tab of the Displays Preference Panel.

Main vi and sub vi execution

I am struggling a lot with my Main vi and Subvi execution problems a lot !
I have a complicated system. To explain it, I create a simple main vi and 2 subvis. Please have a look at the attachment.
It is working as expected. The boolean button in the main vi is active when the subvi-s are not running. But while the sub vis are running I can not access the boolean button. I understand why it is happening. The execution is stuck in the subvi and can not see any new input in the main vi.
My question is how can I solve this?
What I want is,
1. When the subvi is running, I still want the boolean button in the main vi to behave in the same way as compared to when the subvi is not running.
2. I should also be able to run the 2nd subvi when the 1st subvi is still running.
Please help me out (I am using Labview 2010.)

I use ActiveX from Crystal Report Developer XI for viewer in Visual FoxPro 9 and I already know how to show Main Report by using command:

Your right, there is only one tab to view the report.
To open the subreports you will need to click on them in the main report. I don't know of a way to open them programmatically like you are doing here

Is there a way to use different search engines on the main bar and on the small one without having to switch anything on the small one?

I want to use google when I type to search in the main bar and wikipedia on the small search bar on the right. However, they both seem to use the same search engine, depending on which one I've chosen on the small search bar. I want them to use different ones without having to click and change engines. How can I do that?

You can use a (one letter) keyword search on the location/address bar and assign a keyword via "Manage Search Engines".
You can use the Keyword Search extension to specify which search engine to use for searching via the location/address bar.

I have several Outlook accounts and want to switch between them but Firefox defaults to the main one and won't let me access the others.

Outlook now makes me sign out and sign back in to each of my email accounts. When I try to sign back in, it defaults to the main account and won't let me type in the other email addresses. This only happens in Firefox, both Google and IE leave the email address blank and let me type in the one I want to access. Is there a way to turn the wireless capabilities off on an AirPort Express? I have an AirPort Extreme as my main router and use the express to just extend it. I only really want to you use the express for hard ethernet connections. For whatever reason when I have my express extend my wifi at home the download speed from just the express is absolutely terrible, drops to about 1.5 mb compared to when it's on the extremes part of the network the speed goes up to 50-75mb. These terrible download speed really only affects the iPhones as my MacBook Pro usually gets the good speed no matter where it is. I don't believe there is anything wrong with my phone because if I am in the part of the house that uses just the extreme the download speeds on the iphone goes up to 50-75mb. As a note I have an AirPort Extreme on the top floor of my house (second floor) that's where my modem is located. On the first floor that's where one airport express is located. I also have another airport express in the basement that is accessed by my landlord. Any thoughts on how to fix this would be helpful.

It appears that your networking goals with the AirPort Express is to use it as a wireless Ethernet bridge instead of using it to extend the wireless range of your AirPort Extreme. The latter requires that the Express Wi-Fi radios be enabled.
If you intended to use the Express as a wireless bridge, you just need to reconfigure it to "Join a wireless" network instead of "Extend a wireless network."
For whatever reason when I have my express extend my wifi at home the download speed from just the express is absolutely terrible, drops to about 1.5 mb compared to when it's on the extremes part of the network the speed goes up to 50-75mb.
In an extended network, the placement of the extending base station is critical as it can only extend the wireless network at the bandwidth at which it receives it.

How to show statistics of main item and related items with less filter?

Hi experts,
Have any of you come thro' similar requirements before?
To show the statistics of a main item in different aspect in a document and show the comparison of this item in a particular aspect with other related items as inputted at prompt.
You can image that, for the comparison, if I build another query for the related items, there will be duplicated dimensions, which we aim to avoid as duplicated dimension confuse end users.
However, if i build the main items and related items in same query, for those reports of main item only, I need to add a report filter one by one!
Any one of you have better idea?

You Should use Formatted Search in this case.
You must create and associate a query for your field.
click on the field you want items to be listed and press Shift + F2
catch the keydown event of this field and check pval.charpressed = 9 (tab key press)
then execute
SBO_Application.SendKeys("+")

How to populate the main table and the lookup's at the same time

Hi ,
What I have with me is the XML files which contain the data from the material master and the excel sheet which talks about the mapping . it basically tells me which field of the main table maps to which field of which segment in the IDOC and also the name of the table and the field in the R3 system .
I wish to use this info to populate the data in the material repository .
- How can I populate the data in the lookup table at the same time when I am populating the main table ? I have only the XML's that correspond to the main table . I don't have seperate data for the lookup tables .
- Can I use the standard maps available for import in the business content of material repository in MDM ?
- If the answer to the second question is NO then I think i can create the maps and save them for future use .

I don't think you can populate both main table and all fields of lookup tables at the same time, i.e. using same map. You can consider 2 options to upload all information you have:
1) If your XML file contains data you would like to upload to lookup tables, you can upload it to MDM lookup tables with several maps using same XML and choosing different sections of that XML corresponding to different MDM lookup tables.
2) Also you can upload main table simultaneously with lookup table entries (using same map), but in this case new lookup table entries will only contain display field values that you mapped. To do this you should use 'Add' value mapping functionality for fields that you mapped to lookup tables.

1) In case you have material master repository delivered by SAP and you use XML files which structure corresponds to SAP predelivered XSD schemas then you can use these maps undoubtedly.
2) If your repository is based on SAP predelivered, but you changed it ,you should adjust these maps due to differences in repository structure and XML files structure.
3) If you created your repository from scratch you should consider option of making your own import maps.

You have to consider the possibility the hard drive may be dying. If your data isn't backed up, try one of the tools below:
