N100 Bluetooth Drivers and Sysprep issues

Hello all,
I'm using a 3000 N100 notebook running Windows XP Home Edition.
After re-formatting and re-installing my OS using Rescue and Recovery, I have been experiencing 2 issues:
1. Whenever Windows XP starts, I get the Sysprep Wizard and each option that I choose (It doesn't matter since I don't need to create more SIDs), The computer just shuts down/restarts and I'm not receiving any activation prompts (I don't even have the activation option on the system tools menu).
2. When I try to access My Bluetooth Places (Start Using Bluetooth), I keep receiving an "Installing Bluetooth Drivers..." message that freezes and crashes the moment it comes up. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the latest Bluetooth drivers from the website, but the problem presists.
I thank you in advance for your assistance,
Sharon

  • Excite 7.7 JB bluetooth drivers bug (pairing issues)

    Hi!
There's a relatively well known Android Bluetooth drivers bug that causes constant unjustified pairing requests from an already paired device. My Excite 7.7 (JB) is definitely prone to it with the Torque Pro app. I think the occurrence of the bug is both Android OS version and application dependent. For example, see discussion here:
    http://torque-bhp.com/forums/?wpforumaction=viewtopic&t=2076.0
The developer basically says that the manufacturer needs to come up with a fix. I do not really want to get involved in a lengthy phone conversation trying to convince the support people that the bug exists. Any ideas?

While in the office yesterday I backed up my phone, wiped it and reloaded iOS 7.1.1, BT pairing issues resolved. PITA!

  • Bluetooth keyboard and mouse issue

I have a 20" Aluminium iMac with the bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Recently i've started to have some issues where the keyboard keeps disconnecting & reconnecting, also the mouse going slow and jerky. They have been working perfectly fine for the past year but only recently started to play up. I have gone into bluetooth prefs and deleted them and re-connected, this seemed to be a temporary fix but after a while it started again, although not as bad as before. I usually leave my Mac on all the time and just put it in sleep mode, the issue now seems to be waking it from sleep as well. I have tried restarts and re pairing as i said before but nothing seems to be solving the issue. Any ideas or fixes would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • G580 + Win8.1 - problems with Bluetooth drivers and Dolby

    Hello
When I bought my Lenovo G580, it had Win8 installed but I had to upgrade to Win8.1 (sadly). I've been having problems ever since.
When I open Lenovo Solution Center, it shows errors with these drivers:
    Bluetooth Audio Device
    Virtual Bluetooth Support (Include Audio)
    Bluetooth LWFLT Device
    Status: Deactivated
In Device Manager there's a yellow error thingy on Bluetooth Audio Device. It says something about code 10. It also says it is updated to the newest version. I checked Lenovo's website (just in case) but there's no newer driver.
Second problem is with Dolby Advanced Audio V2. I've tried uninstalling it, reinstalling it. Uninstalling Conexant Audio Driver, reinstalling, etc. Nothing works. After a few days after upgrading to Win8.1 the first time my pc went totally crazy. Nothing was working, so I had to revert back to Win8 but was forced to upgrade again. I haven't done anything after the last upgrade because I don't know what to do. Hope someone can help.

    hi jonhildelia,
    Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
For the bluetooth, can you try the following (after upgrading the machien to Win8.1):
    1. Navigate to Control Panel (Icon Views) > Programs and Features and on the list of installed programs, uninstall the Bluetooth Driver.(reboot if necessary). When finished, the bluetooth device in the device manager should now look like this:
    2. if everything goes well, reinstall the Windows 8 bluetooth Driver (either from the D:\drivers\bluetooth or from the G580 download page)
For the Dolby, the issue might be similar to this article and this thread.
    Can you try the following:
    1. Uninstall the Conexant Audio Driver and anything that relates to Dolby from the Control Panel (Icon Views) > Programs and Features
    2. Re-install the Conexant Audio Driver (Win8 version) from the D:\Drivers folder or from the G580 Downloads page (this should reinstall the audio driver and Dolby).
    3. In an event that the Dolby doesn't work, reinstall it from one of theseC:\drivers\audio\DolbyGUI or C:\drivers\audio\DolbyGUI
    Regards

  • Windows 7 Enterprise 64-Bit on a TouchSmart Elite 7320 drivers and apps issues

First off, very few of the 64-bit Windows 7 Drivers on the HP site work, but I was eventually able to get it working for the most part.
My issue is that they would like to have the HP apps installed (what used to be called the Smart Center and the Cyberlink apps).  I have tried to find them on the HP site and, of course, no luck.
I have even tried accessing the Recovery Manager to see if they can be installed from there but it only opens to Explore the files, there is no boot option or executable.
Any suggestions on how I can get a) valid HP drivers that will work and b) the TouchSmart apps

    Hello MrNeelix:
My freind welcome to HP forum. What are you doing? My freind you have the right ideal but going about the wrong way. Please follow my direction to the tee. Click on start button then go to all programs search box . In the search box type in recovery manager. Now above it will be listed now open this one up.  Select Software Program Reinstallation click next in next window bing go list is now open now at a time select your software. Now you have selected software to you see that button on bottom of list called Next click it.  Bingo Presto! Please follow wizards commands. You can only install one program at a time so repeat steps as many time it takes.
Now for divers do the same steps above but this time select Hardware  Driver Reinstallation.
If for some reason this should fail then I suggest you do a full recovery from recovery disc you made because your (D Drive is corrupted. By sounds of in your post it is. Or you can order a set of recovery disc from HP's parts store. Please use your computers update page direction are given if you click ordering cd on side bar those subjects are links as well. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/searchResults?tmp_product=HP+TouchSmart+Elite+7320+All-in-One+PC&...=  Please click on Kudos if this has resolved your issue . • Bluetooth Drivers for working with a Vista Partition

Is anyone using Windows Vista on a Mac Book Pro. I have to use it because Autodesk Software will not work with Apple. Everything seems to run fine except I cannot install the apple bluetooth drivers when I insert the Mac OS disk. Windows loads the generic bluetooth drivers once it installs. If you delete/remove them (the windows generic bluetooth drivers), and then try to install the bluetooth drivers on the Mac OS disk, windows simply overrides them. Has anyone had this issue. What actual bluetooth chip is in the laptop. Are there other drivers out there than can be downloaded for the windows side if I can not get the drivers from the Mac OS CD to install? Any help will greatly be appreciated.

have you found them yet?  thanks

  • X6 bluetooth and USB issue

My old 5310 had no problems connecting through bluetooth or cable to my pc. Now I updated to a X6 and nothing but issues connecting.
The bluetooth works sometimes, when it feels like it, when it doesn't work and I disable bluetooth on the phone, I can't enable it again, it just says something along the lines it can't execute bluetooth operation. First time I experienced it, I gave up and a little later I tried again, bluetooth enabled as normal and immediately connected and worked as normal.
Then I try to connect through USB cable, on which it only tries to find drivers (which it used to have when I first got the phone) and eventually I get a message the phone is still transferring files (which it isn't) and I need to enable PC Suite mode while that's what it's on.
I think there's something very wrong with the software..

    Hope your issue is solved.
    My issue is this:
    MY HARDWARE / SOFTWARE:
    - Nokia 6350 phone
    - IOGEAR GBU321 usb bluetooth
    - Windows XP on Dell Latitude D610
    - PC Suite 7.1.51.0
    PROBLEM:
PC Suite works fine with my phone if I'm in range. If I walk far away and bluetooth connection is lost, when I return to range, the synch btwn PC and Phone MAY or MAY NOT resume. Most of the time it does, but sometimes it does not.  I've tried to close/re-start PC-Suite to no avail. I've tried to re-detect my phone via PC Suite...nothing.
The workaround fix I've found  to resume the PC--Phone connection is this:
    - On the bottom left of task bar, right click on the bluetooth icon and "Explore My Bluetooth Places"
    - Delete "Nokia 6350 OBEX File Transfer"
    - right click on the bluetooth icon and select "Quick Connect"-->"File Transfer"-->"Find Devices"-->"Show All Devices"-->select the Noka 6350 (for some reason it's visible here)-->and click "Finish".
Then suddenly, my PC-Suite Icon show connected again and I'm back in business.
WHAT is causing this and HOW to fix this permanently ? Something is timing out in PC-Suite.
    Thanks,
    Neel

    Try this driver.
If this driver doesn't work, and you want to run W7, then you will have to install W7 64 bit, for which there are graphics drivers.

  • Flex 14, Bluetooth and Wifi Issues

I bought a Flex 14 from the Lenovo store website a month ago, and I seem to be having problems with my wireless adapter. I can't remember if it is because of the update to 8.1 since I updated my laptop to 8.1 on the day that I received my laptop. No matter how far away I am to the router, my wifi would disconnect. It would disconnect for around 30-60 seconds and happens very often, which is kind of annoying. Other laptops in my house don't experience this kind of issue, so it can't be my wireless router or internet service provider. Bluetooth seems to have issues as well. I bought a bluetooth mouse for my laptop around 2 weeks ago and it disconnects just like my wifi. I've tested the mouse with my phone for a full hour and I did not encounter any problems, so I concluded that it must be my wireless adapter that has a problem.
I've tried updating all the drivers from Lenovo support page, but that didn't fix it. So, I tried getting the drivers from Intel, since my adapter is the Intel Wireless-N 7260. That also did not work.
Any ideas? I would really appreciate any sort of help right now.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I bought Lenovo Flex 14 last month and from day 1 it is showing issues with its wifi. It gets disconnected from my network automatically and sometimes it does not detect even a single network. While at the same time my other devices connected to the same network functions well.
I called customer support and they tried to fix the problem by changing performance and roaming related solutions as has also been pointed out in the earlier replies. Even in spite of all these efforts nothing has worked till date. I either have to restart or have to put my laptop in airplane mode for few seconds and than try to connect (A trick which works for me at times !! )
Is there any solution which anyone can suggest ? Is this a hardware problem or a software problem ? Please help !!

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You can install a 64-bit Windows 7 or Vista version in your Mac. Make sure you downloaded these drivers > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1630 Also, if you have the Snow Leopard DVD you used to upgrade your Mac or the OS X DVD that came with your Mac, you can use it to install the Boot Camp drivers

  • Multiple Bluetooth speakers - selecting and naming issues

I've recently added a pair of Bluetooth speakers to what had been an all AirPlay setup (5 AX units, 4 Ethernet, 1 wireless). Now I've added a pair of Bluetooth speakers and I'm having some issues in using them
    iPhone 5 running 7.1
The two Bluetooth speakers are the same brand, so they are displayed identically
Is it possible to rename these using the iphone so they have unique names?
Bigger problem is in selecting which speaker I want to use at point in time. The iPhone doesn't give an option to not use a speaker.  It seems to select the speaker on its own -- only option offered  is to "forget" the speaker. I don't want to have to discover the speaker each time I go to use it. Is there a way to tell the iphone which speaker I want to use? Only work around I have found is to turn off the speaker I don't want to use
    Is there a better way?
    Thx, Carlos

Just bumping in case anyone has thoughts
    Thx

  • Airport 802.11g and WIFI issues with Apple bluetooth keyboard

Hey guys, this thing start to drive me crazy, I bought a Apple BT keyboard but just recently I started to having problems with my wifi connection and apparently I think this is due to the BT keys.
I started to notice this issue when I moving with the laptop in another room where usually I had maximum Airport signal, now it's happening that the signal start to lose power and when is just to the minimum, internet or other net staff don't work anymore and after 5 minutes of this apparently "freeze" wifi status, the airport loose definitely the signal.
After that I need to turn off the Airport card, most of the time work but sometimes i need to turn off two times to get it works.
After I read different blogs and forum, I tried to change channel, use the interference robustness, anything, and at the ending I reinstalled Leo, still have this problem, so I started to turn off the bluetooth connection and it look's like when the signal start to lose power the network keep working, and than reprise the maximum power.
So I can really fix this issue or is another "well done" by Apple? It look's like the Apple industry getting so close to the trash world! I'm sorry for these last words but my disappointed in Apple getting bigger.
    Thank you for anyone helps.
P.S. a friend of mine with a Macbook Pro, Snow Leopard and my same Airport Base station have the same issue.

GuyI just fixed for now the problem turning off the bluetooth keyboard when I have wifi issues, it's the only solutions!

  • U330 wireless and bluetooth drivers for windows xp. devices not working. drivers already installed

so i did a fresh instal of windows xp pro sp3.
device manager shows yellow question mark and ! for Network Controller and BCM2046 Bluetooth Device. i have tried using lan to windows update, update drivers, but device manager cannot find anything.
i have installed the 2 broadcom drivers for windows xp listed on lenovos website. i made sure that wireless switch is on, and fn+f5 wireless option is set to on as well.
LAN shows up. and so does the 1394 on the network connections, but no wireless.
(note: on my server 2008 os, the new windows troubleshooting instructed me to turn on a specific service, which then enabled my wireless to work.)
however i cant seem to find a way to get the wireless to work.
Could someone tell me all services exactly need to be enabled for the wireless to work? and why does the network controller still show up on device manager even after i have installed the drivers?
    please help, totally lost.

Your "yellow" device is Bluetooth, not WiFi.
Fn+F5 utility work depends on both of them, so you need all drivers to be installed before it will work.
Install bluetooth drivers for your model. Also, your WiFI also may be Broadcom (Gemtek) and you may be trying to install Intel WiFi.
