N580 cursor just froze out of nowhere

So I was browsing the internet like usual, reading threads on a certain website when suddenly the mouse cursor just stopped moving. I couldn't even right click either. I didn't know the right keys to open the shutdown menu, so I had to force shutdown on the power button to restart the laptop.
The cursor is moving fine so far, I'm kind of concern about it freezing again, once I get back on the website, but does anyone know what this means?
I'm using an IdeaPad N580 along with Windows 8, Google Chrome and the laptop is only about a few years old since purchase.

It's early to tell if the issue that just occured was a touchpad driver issue or the touchpad suddenly stopped working (hardwre problem).
In an event that the touch stops working again, try to:
1. Press Fn+F6 to Enable the Touchpad.
2. Use a USB mouse and navigate to Control Panel (large icon view) > Mouse and check if the Touchpad device is is still enabled.
If you don't have a USB mouse, press the Windows key‌ +R > type control mouse and navigate to the Device Settings by pressing CTRL+TAB.

If the Touchpad is disabled or grayed out, navigate to Device Manager (press the Windows key‌ +R, type devmgmt.msc) then go to Mice and other pointing devices. If you don't see a Lenovo / Synaptics Pointing Device then the problem is most likely a hardware failure.
In addition, you can shutdown the machine by pressing ALT+F4 on the keyboar as shown in this article.

I'm not sure I understand this part of your description. Do you open it every 5 min? - or do you open it (and there's nothing on the screen) and then after 5 min it makes a noise?

Screen just broke out of nowhere (no cracks, inside its broke)

So i woke up, checked my phone everything was fine,
texted few people, checked my mail and twitter and then i went on to watch some shows on my pc (Ramsey's Kitchens Nightwares USA) to be exact
I was watching and texting and then out of nowhere, right side of my screen just blured out and i cant **bleep** see anything on my right. it just perfectly fine and now out of nowhere its broke?

Firefox will just crash out of nowhere

Multiple times over the past two weeks Firefox will just crash for no reason. I've tried checking my add-ons and reinstalling Adobe Flash Player to no avail. I really like Firefox but this is really getting on my nerves as of late :/

This just happend out of nowhere!

First day of my vacation I just arrived in france. I only tried to open an app and this happend!
I have absolutely no idea what to do.

     I can, with 99.99% certainty, tell you that you are absolutely right in not wanting to download or install this "Helper," whatever it is (but we can be equally certain it would not "help" anything).
     I cannot comment as to Oglethorpe's recommendation of 'adwaremedic'; I am unfamiliar with it. His links to the Apple discussion and support pages warrant your time and attention.
     It might be really simple -- Trying looking in your Downloads folder, trash anything that you don't know with certainty is something you want to keep, and then Secure Empty your Trash. Then remove the AdBlock extension, LastPass, and Web of Trust extensions to Safari and re-boot. If the issue goes away, still be extraordinarily careful in the future.
     Unfortunately, it's probably not going to be that simple to get rid of, in which case I'd then try the line by line editing in HT203987.
     I have no further suggestions (other than a complete wipe and re-install...but that's a pain because trying to restore from Time Machine would simply ... restore the Mal).
   For the rest of us, please post when you find a solution.

Have you run the iPhoto Library Upgrader? You need to direct it to the location of your old iPhoto Library by clicking the "Choose Library" button in the lower right corner of the panel you are seeing when the upgrade starts.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

You are telling us by yourself that is a Youtube problem, because it happens also on IE.
Anyway that may be an issue with your e-mail account. Maybe you have too many e-mails and YouTube gets so busy trying to add all of them. If you hadn't added them already, you could export that directions to CSV and divide the CSV in parts so YouTube wouldn't have so much work. How many directions you wanted to add?

This is not a reply. I just want to elaborate on this problem.
My computer freezes occasionally when it is used after being sleep for a while. The spinning ball appears and everything is totally disabled. Nothing on the keyboard works.
The mouse moves, but does not work.
The only solution is to turn the power off and on (losing all data in open applications.)
I kept the System monitor running on the side to find out which program was running when the computer froze. The Monitor as well as all other applications froze, but the data showed:
Firefox 18.4%
Activity Monitor 0.9%
Firefox Plugin 0.2%
This is all the information I have. By the way, I am using iMac with OS 10.6.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."

Why would my iMac suddenly run slowly out of nowhere?

Earlier this evening, I was just clicking on a song to upload it to tumblr, and my iMac froze. I had to hold "power" and restart it. After I logged in, my desktop failed to load completely (the menu bar was conspicuously absent and I had about six pictures saved to my desktop and the thumbnails were not showing up for any of them). After several restarts (I tried starting it in safe mode and hitting CommandOption+PR and neither did anything to help the problem)
I waited after the last time I restarted the computer, and after about fifteen to twenty minutes, my Mail icon started bouncing. I have it set to open at login so apparently it took about fifteen minutes for it to actually start opening. Now, simply moving the mouse freezes my computer for about three minutes. It ends up taking me about twelve minutes to position the mouse over an icon, click on it once to select it and click on it again to open it. As you can imagine, this makes it VERY difficult for me to do any of the normal tasks one might do in a situation like this (repair permissions, etc.)
This happened completely out of the blue. Up until this point, my iMac has operated almost perfectly aside from one incident several weeks ago that turned out to be a problem with my router. I just don't understand why this would happen out of nowhere, and as you can imagine I am very concerned. What would cause this to happen, and is there anything that can be done to fix it?

All right, I followed your instructions...I had to click Verify Disk first because Repair Disk was grayed out. The problem is, I got an error that says:
"First Aid Failed.
Disk Utility stopped verifying "Macintosh HD" because the following error was encountered:
Filesystem verify or repair failed."
Then, in the Disk Utility window it says:
"Verifying Volume 'Macintosh HD'
Checking Journaled HFS Plus volume.
Checking Extents Overflow file.
Checking Catalog file.
Invalid sibling link
Volume check failed.
Error: Filesystem verify or repair failed."
I'm trying to again right now...now in the Disk Utility window it says:
"Verifying Volume 'Macintosh HD'
Checking Journaled HFS Plus volume.
Checking Extents Overflow file.
Checking Catalog file.
Invalid node structure
The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.
Error: filesystem verify or repair failed."
Now, I am confused because I literally CANNOT repair the disk, since that option is unavailable. What are some other options?
Also, just figured I'd throw this out there...I am not opposed to reinstalling Leopard even if it means I will lose everything on my computer. I have all of my important files backed up on my external hard drive.
Thank you for your suggestions - even though this did not work, I feel like this might help me narrow down the problem somewhat. Maybe you can clarify what all of these error messages mean.
