N6555: Trouble with SMS; only sending MMS

I've had this phone for a while now, but for the past few days it's been messing up. At first everytime I would push a letter it would tell me the message was changed to MMS then I'd push another letter and it'd change back to SMS. Now I open up a new message and as soon as I push ANY button it changes to MMS. It won't let me send any SMS. Anybody know what the problem could be?
I've tried turning it off and leaving it off, and removing the battery for a period of time, I've checked all the settings. But I'm not sure how to fix this.

What is the default pin code?

New iPhone OS is only sending MMS now?

Ever since I upgraded to the new OS my phone is only sending MMS messages. I wouldn't even notice but the people I'm texting keep thinking that they are supposed to receive a picture. Also occasionally people will tell me they are getting my old texts multiple times. This is happening with my 3GS on the new OS and the iPhone 4 on the new OS. Any ideas??

I am having the same problem with the iphone 4, occasionally people (not even on iphones) say that I am sending them a slide or something? Not every time, but still. It also does not let me send right away, I have to hit enter twice. Any answers out there? It is quite annoying.

Trouble with burning only CDs

I'm confused.
Do brand new unused CD-R disks deteriorate over time? Or do I have a faulty Optical Drive?
I don't burn discs often so I'm no expert. I've got a stack of CD-Rs (around 50 I think) that I have gradually been working through over several years. I'm getting towards the bottom of the stack until now I'm looking at the last 6 or 7 blank discs of that stack.
I keep trying to use these discs but my iMac won't even boot them onto my desktop. To eject them I have to restart my iMac and force them to eject by holding down the left mouse button while the iMac starts up. Disk Utility can't see them. Up until recently my CD-Rs have worked fine. In fact it wasn't until I wanted to update my Disk Warrior (DW) CD that a problem began to appear.
I tried to update DW. All appeared fine. I used the newly burned DW Update in my iMac. DW got part way into loading (most of the way in fact) and then froze. I've been using DW and it occassional updates for many years and this was the first time that I had used an Alsoft Update CD and have it fail to boot up. So I binned it and tried again assuming the CD-R was a duffer. So I burned another copy, tried it in my iMac and it worked fine.
So I had two DW discs. One duff, one okay.
My Dad had a problem with his iMac. I used the duff disc (just curious, you know). Somehow it now worked fine!
Lately I can't get any of my remaining CD-Rs to appear on the desktop and I have to restart, holding down the left mouse key, to get then to eject.
I bought some CD-RWs. These worked fine for a while. So I inferred that the original CD-Rs had degraded to unusability somehow and thought no more about it.
Until today.
I was in a hurry to burn some documents to a CD-RW but the process failed on the verification stage. Could reading be a problem but burning be okay I wonder?
All discs work fine on my daughters MBP I noticed.
I now find that only blank CDs appear on the desktop. Some commercial CDs and ones with home made content get spat out again after the drive spend a minute or two making chugging noises. Then again other such CDs work fine or work okay the next day. DVDs don't seem to be affected - mostly. Hybrid SACDs work one day, not the next.
Most confusing, but the trouble I get burning anything reliably makes me think the drive itself could be on its way out. There are no software settings that I have touched let alone think of.
I wonder, is there any software available that I can use to test the device out? The Internal optical drive is an OPTIARC DVD RW AD-5630A.

I tried a different brand of disk, but it only copied up to half way through song 9 and not finishing the rest, and gives me the same message. can anybody help?

Trouble with SMS

with the previous versions of Skype it as easy to send sms messages… not anymore! skype keeps asking me to verify my cellphone number, but I don't even have a cellphone!

I was able to send SMS messages from my computer to celphone numbers yesterday and ever since becoming a Skype member but it does not work now. I can not verify my celphone because I DO NOT have a celphone. So Skype people fix this problem

PSE9 - having trouble with "html email sender verification" page

We have just purchased the PSE9. This is our first venture into a photoshop program. We are wanting to send some of our pictures to friends via email. Just after we push the "share" button, to create an attachment for the email, we get this page "html email sender verification." It contains in the first blank, our email address (given), a button "resend email", and a blank entitled " Sender verification." Below this box are the words:
"If this email address is not correct, or you would like to use a different e mail client, you can change your email settings by clicking Cancel and then choosing
Edit ->Preferences->sharing."
At the bottom right are two buttons, "OK" and "Cancel"
When we put in our email address into the "Sender verification" box, and press "OK" the next window is entitled "HTML Email Sender Verification" . The only words on the page for us are in red and they say:
"Your email could not be sent because an unkown error has occurred. Please try again."
Then we have the option of pushing the "OK" or "Cancel" button.
Can anyone help us get beyond this obstacle?

You need to enter the email id in preferences. Once you put it, you will receive a verification code. You need to put this verificaiton code in the sender verification window. This is required if you are using Adobe email service. You can change the email provider from sharing preferences.

Having trouble with Emails not sending on Mail application

About 5 days ago I added two new email addresses to my MAC Mail settings.
A day later I noticed that my emails for all 6 of my accounts that I had sent were all sitting in the Outbox and not being sent.
These are with different hosting providers and I know it isn't a problem there and they are working fine from my mobile device. I can't seem to work out why this is happening and I'm not getting an error message when I try to send, they simply just sit in the outbox as if they aren't even trying to send.
I'm sure it's something simple I've done but 5 days later I still can't seem to work it out! Help please.....

Thanks for your quick reply - yes it is - I have fiddles with some of the settings but yes these are all correct for the appropriate servers....it totally has me stumped as I've never had this issue before

Troubles with 9400M only after updates

I've got an Unibody MacBook Pro Late 2008. When I switch to the 9400M GPU I see a lot of distorted elements on the display, as you can see here:

If I switch back to the 9600 everything's ok. I tried to reinstall everything: before installing the updates, just after a clean installation of Snow Leopard, everything's ok with both GPUs. After installing updates display errors begin. So I think it's a software bug.
What can I do? Any idea?

Group messaging as SMS only

I try to send group SMS and my iphone 6 converts it into an MMS. Problem with this is that if my recipients do not have MMS set up they dont get a simple text. Also a simple text should be sent as a text only and not an MMS. I want to be able to send group messages as SMS only, not MMS. If I turn MMS off from settings, SMS are not sent at all. This is a very basic issue and it should not exist. Also I searched online and there was something about group messages setting. I have latest IOS but it does not show any such option. This is seriously frustrating.

But when I upgrade to AIR15 encrypt-decrypt cannot work ( Another thing about this crash is that it only happens with a release (adhoc or appstore) build but NOT with a debug build). I check so many time but i don't know what is problem here.

Can't send mms after updating

What is going on? I updated my Spring 4s to iOS6 and now I can't send MMS's to people NOT via iMessage.

For what it's worth, I'm having the same problem with my iPhone 4S. I can only send MMS to other iPhone users. Attempting to send it to non-iPhone users results in a failure and retry, over and over. There is another thread on here where we're talking about it:

Having trouble with email reviews

Hi all, I am testing Acrobat X for my company and I am having trouble with testing for "send for email review/merge comments". In my last test I made a PDF from InDesing as usual and on my "test" Mac using Acrobat X I opened the PDf and sent it to 3 people for email review. One of the people was using a PC and Acrobat 9 Reader, the other two were using Acrobat X to make comments and send back. I should note that I am using one test machine (iMac) for all three of the Mac reviews, but each individual is logging on with their ID for the network and the email program (entourage).
All three reviewers were able to get the PDF in the email, make comments and then use the "send comments" button to send back to me.
My problem is that when I got all three emails back, and when I logged into the test machine as myself, opened the returned PDFs, I was only able to "merge comments" from one reviewer (from Mac) to my original PDF. With the email from the PC and one email from the iMac, I was UNABLE to merge these two sets of comments. The merge comments button was unavailable, I never got the message about if I wanted to "merge comments" or "No, open this copy only." And when I tried to go through "comments>merge comments onto master PDF" I was not able to see that option anywhere, either.
Sorry for the long explanation, but I want to include as much info as possible to try to get the proper feedback from you all.

" you mean that you have created 3 different users on your mac machine and configured entourage for each of them. If not then please explain this.
Have you tried using any of these:
a) 2-3 Mac partitions for the different users
b) 2-3 different mac machines for the same
c) maybe 2-3 Mac Virtual machines on a Mac main machine
If it is possible can you please try that scenario on any of the above mentioned combinations and let us know the results. This will help us a lot in narrowing down the issue.

Messages not allowing me to start conversations with text only recipient on iMac/MB

I do not know if Messages is supposed to work this way - but right now I can't START conversations with someone who I have to SMS message (they are NOT a part of iCloud, etc.) from my computer (both running released Yosemite).
The reason I say I'm not sure - is that I was part of the developer beta (even tried the public beta on one laptop when it was available) - and Messages has operated about 3 different ways during that time. During the beta - I went from it working just like I thought it should, and in two weeks, lost some abilities, and by the start/middle of August I lost ALL ability to text SMS recipients prior to GD release of Yosemite.
Wasn't able to initiate conversations with SMS recipients right after the GD release either. Then a couple weeks after the GD release, it started working fine, and I COULD initiate SMS conversations on my computers. Now in the last few days, I again can't initiate SMS messaging with SMS-only recipients on the computers.
IF I START the SMS conversation using my phone or iPad, my computers will sync-up with the messages, and I can carry on a conversation using my computers, but can't initiate a conversation to an SMS-only recipient. However, the "SMS" section on https://www.apple.com/osx/continuity/, indicates I'm supposed to be able to initiate SMS conversations by "clicking a phone number". I think iCloud has been up and down, and between the iOS updates, etc. and iCloud issues/updates that it is causing problems.
So - is this something that others are having issues with? Is this just some temporary issue that's occurring until 10.10.1 or 8.1.x are released? ????

I finally got time to go through a longer session dealing with the issue. Wound up having to completely disable, then re-enable the affected systems on my iPhone. Even though enabled - they simply would not work. Had to disable on the iPhone, wait a while, then re-enable on the iPhone.

Trouble with my sms and mms on my 2 LG G3

My wife and I both upgraded to the G3 and we are having trouble with oursms and mms messages. When we are both on the same group message I won't get the message and this morning I didn't receive het mms. Also we can't send any video message they all say they are too large and they are probably 5 seconds long.

Help has arrived! Are you only experiencing issues with group messages? Do you get any error messages? When attempting to send video messages are you using the stock messaging app or a third party one?

Can I send MMS with only the Wi-fi connection?

I cant send MMS messages with only my Wi-fi connection, only when I have 3G on my MMS messages really go away and the other person recieves it.
I just get a to the right of my MMS message when I only have Wi-fi on.
Can I send MMS messages with only Wi-fi on? (besides Imessages - those always work^^)

You can send an iMessage using WiFi. You can not send an SMS or MMS
