N70 HELP PLEASE DESPERATELY NEED MESSAGES BACK

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! JUST LOST ALL MY MESSAGES IN EVERY FOLDER ON MY TRUSTY N7O THROUGH THE EXPLANATION BELOW AND NEEEEED THEM BACK AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE IN THIS WAY OR UNDERSTANDS AND HOW DO I GET THESE MESSAGES BACK??
THIS IS WHAT I DID OR HOW IT HAPPENED:
SORRY FOR LONG EXPLANATION
Was setting my work Gmail -(laptop is in for service)- used "setting wizard" as always-only had the personal Gmail on my N70 and used the other username by mistake- went to "MESSAGE SETTINGS" "EMAIL" selected "mailbox"- "options"- "remove mailbox" the 1st removed no issues but new mailbox wouldn't remove
-took me to "mailbox in use" thought the "mailbox in use" "gmail" was selected tried to remove and nothing happened, pushed (c) to delete and thought maybe I hadn't pushed it properly-(c) again but realized this froze the phone for a bit (or it was just in a long delay), it frozen with only outlined frames visible for a bit,so I pushed "back" a few times ("back" wasn't visible though) it went back to MESSAGES but 1 or 2 of the folder icon's were now blank with a ? in place of the icon. It wouldn't switch off-tried pushing that back button again (WHICH STIL WASN'T VISIBLE AND NEITHER WAS "OPTIONS") 3 or 4 times but before I realized it started reacting but strangely and delayed and then the rest of the message folder icons were now also gone and replaced with ? and now frozen again. I TOOK THE BATTERY OUT because it wouldn't switch off.
Switched it back on and ALL MY MESSAGES FOR EVERY FOLDER WERE GONE. DRAFT FOLDER VERY IMPORTANT- HAD +/- 10 MESSAGES ABOUT 28SMS LONG THAT I WAS GOING TO COPY AND PASTE (which is why I still N70) INTO EMAILS (which I was trying to create)
I know I chose the option long ago to "SAVE MESSAGES TO PHONE" when I first got the phone.
I'm quite knowledgeable with Computer Tech and would have just "restored to previous time" but 2 things- I don't know if it's possible on a "sort of smartphone" and 2: I don't even remember when last I ever did the "back-up phone to memory card"
I have found a data doctor: it "says it's a tool to restore deleted, erased or accidentally lost text messages, phone book saved contact numbers from mobile phone sim card." but it needs a usb sim reader (which I could try get) and the data doctor is quite expensive

Try plugging it up to your computer and launching iTunes and either resetting it to factory settings or resetting to last sync. Hopefully it just noticing it's plugged up to iTunes will fix it. This happened to my friend once and all she had to do was plug it into her computer and that fixed it.

The problem is absolutely not Reader. The problem is that FireFox has stepped in front of Reader and handles all the PDF stuff - wrongly in your case. FireFox is DESIGNED to take over PDF files. But it is not capable of doing IRS forms!
To start with go back to IE for these forms. When you save them to disk DO NOT DOUBLE CLICK ON THEM until this is fixed. Just open the in the normal way - start Adobe Reader and use Open from the File menu.

Re-posting as I'm desperate.
My phone shut down while making a call. The screen went black, no LED signal light, no power, totally dead.
Actions already attempted:
1) removed/replaced battery multiple times,
2) inserted fully charged spare battery,
3) connected to charger cord,
4) connected to computer via USB and
5) connected to computer via USB with battery removed.
The phone has not been subjected to water or cooked by heat. It was operating perfectly fine for six months prior to this event. One caveat: the phone was running on software one version (5.5?) behind the current latest version (6.0?), as the newer software slowed my phone to a crawl plus I really didn't like the new calendar software.
Verizon is replacing the phone under the warranty program but I I desperately need to retrieve critical medical and tax data from this dead device as I regrettably have not backed up in the six months since I purchased the phone.
Any help/replies are urgently needed as I am required to return the dead device within five days of receiving the replacement unit (expected today 8/26/11).  Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

You don't have BlackBerry Protect installed on the device, by any chance? If so, you'd have an over the air backup of contacts, calendar, SMS, etc.
I'd suggest one last time, leave it charge a couple of hours on a wall outlet charger. After a few hours, keep it connected to the charger, remove the battery for a few minutes, replace and see if it boots.
If not, then I think you're stuck.
We might be able to get the device to reload the OS and power up again, but you will lose all your data.

Help please re error message on launch of downloadable version of Premiere Elements 13 asking me to insert disk

I bought a downloadable version yesterday of both Photoshop Elements 13 & Premiere Elements 13 & both seemed to install ok today. However, when I launch Premiere Elements, I get the following error message.= "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive\Device\Harddisk1\DR1" Obviously don't have a disk to insert as downloadable version, can anybody help please?. Thanks

That is the Adobe solution for the issue in Premiere Elements 13.
In Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit, the path to the file is

and in the NewBlue Folder is the OldFilm.AEX file that you delete or disable by renaming it from OldFilm.AEX to OldFIlm.AEXOLD.

Hello friends, this is the first time i write you guys here.
But heck, i've solved hundreds of problems just reading these boards for some years now!
So yeah, i have been a Touchdaw user for some months and everything went great until
a couple days ago it broke/froze up, even crashing my audio midi setup issue that i managed
to fix (thanks to you guys) by deleting some plist around.
But when i came back today, to set everything up again, i found that there's no NETWORK
icon on the audiomidi setup anymore.
Thing is i can't actually find a single post about this issue anywhere on the web
Someone said that deleting the "com.apple.midi.netsetup" file would restore everything
but..bingo, there's no such file where i believe it used to exist before the crash.
My guess is i need to restore this file somehow, or install a "midi network driver"??
I seriously need this to work again, all my midi instruments are in another room, now i can't
record as comfortable as it used to be with the wireless network and it's making me lose a bunch of time!

Help please - how do i back up my pc photos to icloud so that they stay there??

This is possibly the stupid question of the day but please bear with me and help if you can, as I've searched and just can't figure it out. I'm not usually PC illiterate!! I'm trying to work out how to back up my PC photos (Windows 7) to icloud. I thought it might be as simple as pasting them into photostream but apparently if they're linked to photostream they only stay there for 30 days. I am totally lost but have bought sufficient storage space to be able to hold them all.
I would really appreciate any help - really struggling to work it out, whilst simultaneously entertaining 1 year old!!

Help Please - hard drive formatting/back up problems

Hi- I'm new around here- I need advice-apparently I know just enough to get myself into trouble or a panic
One problem is turning into several. I'll start at the top.
I have a G4 Tipowerbook 30GB 512ram bought in 2001. OSX 10.3.9
-Original problem: Hard drive seems to be going bad (making clicking noises occassionally) I'm bad never have backed up mainly due to $ so finally scraped up enough cash bought a newer tech. mini stack 160 GB external drive to back up to and a new internal 80 GB HD to have installed.
-Downloaded Carbon Copy Cloner to back all up to new drive. When I recieved the new drive they had already put some files (old mac commercials shareware etc1.5 GB worth) on it. I thought this indicated it was formatted. So I started out with the cloning- 6 hours later bar still indicated that not very much progress had been done. I started reading ccc troubleshooting info and it strongly stressed formatting/zeroing all new disks even if you think they are. I stopped the clone-(actually it looked like there was more copied than indicated by the progress bar but not much.
-14 hours later and the zeroing progress bar in Disk Utility shows maybe 1/10 of the way done.
Concerns:
- is this normal?
-Is the slowness due to perhaps a bad hard drive? If so (remember I don't have anything backed up) could this activity make the drive crash -working for so long? any othere options to take?
-Also the new external drive is supposed to be 160 GB why does DU say it is only 153GB where did 7 GB go?

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Is the ext HD USB? If so, it is going to take a LONG time to do anything from your PB, as your PB is only USB 1 (very slow). May be too late now, but with a Mac, esp an older Mac with only USB 1, you would want to use Firewire (besides the speed, Macs can't boot from an ext USB HD, but they can from a FW). If the ext HD is only USB and you can't or don't want to return it, you may want to consider a USB 2 PCMCIA adapter, then at least you'll be able to work with the ext HD at USB 2 speeds.

Help please? Logic playing back wrong sample rate

So I created a new session and recorded a new song that I have already done some work to this song and have had no problems whatsoever. Last night I went to open this song and work on it some more and when I pressed play the song started playing back very slowly. This session was recorded at 88.2k and I am getting a Logic error message that says sample rate 44.1k is recognized however my audio interface (a Metric Halo 2882 +DSP 2d unit) is set correctly to 88.2k. I look at my bin and all the files are correct, my preferences are all correctly set at 88.2k but Logic is playing the song at about half speed!!
What happened?? I have a couple projects going and I need to get this fixed.. Anyone??

Sounds to me that your best bet is to use a utility like SoundHack (http://music.ucsd.edu/~tre/soft//SH893.hqx) to change the audio file headers. What you want is to flag the files as 48k, not do any sample rate conversion--they should play back natively at 48k. The only SRC you'll need to do is if you actually do want the files to end up as 44.1k at some point. (In your case, I don't think Logic is converting the sample rate in real time, by the way--what it's doing is playing back the files with a clock setting of 48k, which only sounds right because they've been mis-labeled.)
Either way, you should fix the file headers now, I think. And even if your final product needs to be 44.1k, since your files are quite clearly at 48k now, I'd do all the necessary editing and processing at 48k, then convert to 44.1k as the final step. And until the SRC in Logic is improved (Apple ?), maybe use some other app to convert to 44.1k in the end. Peak gets high marks--not sure what else out there sounds good and doesn't cost a mint.

HELP Information erased, need it back

Somehow my Address book and ical got erased and are blank. If there a way to undo those or do like a system restore on a PC, like going back to a date when I know they were there, like yesterday. Please let me know, I need my contacts and calendar.

If you have accidentally deleted the files, they are probably still on your disk. If the files have been moved, say, you can find them; if they've been deleted, you can write that off to experience. Only you can make that call - only you know how much the data matters to you.
So, yes, there are other possibilities, but taking the first part of BDAqua's advice - to stop using the disk at all - is essential if you think you might wish to use a data recovery tool if that turns out to be necessary.

Help please, I need a REAL solution to make the audigy 2 wo

After a serious crash and a format i've been trying to install the audigy 2, i have looked everywhere for the original cd but it's gone.
After a long search i found the full install on the net but it says i don't have a audigy installed and then continues with installing mediasource.
I've allready switched the card to another pci slot but no success.
All i want is the actual 5 speakers and subwoofer to work and have the surround mixer.Now only the front speakers work.
I'm fed up with creative and this surely is the last product i'll ever buy from them but as long as i can't afford a good card i need this to work. Is it so hard for them to have ALL drivers on the site instead of updates that are useless without the core?
So please, if anyone knows a solution, let me know.

more try before going to M-Audio
Go to installation CD or package \Audio\Setup -folder and open setup.ini (notepad).
Is App name the one it should be (Sound Blaster Audigy 2 or something). This ensures
you have the right installation package there.
Uninstall Creative drivers using Driver Cleaner. You can download it by following the link.
After Cleaning, check if there is no Creative folder on 'Program Files' folder.
Delete Creative -folder if there is one.
Uninstall/remove card from device manager.
Reboot
When OS prompts; it has found a new PCI device, select cancel.
Start Creative Audigy Driver/software installation by running setup.exe (located on
Audigy CD's root folder), or START.EXE (located on CD's \CTRun -folder).
Reboot when asked.
This is the way (logic) it should get working! If it won't then there was that link
at the very beginning of my message.
