N70 - Music - Sound cracking

Hi Folks,
Yesterday I installed some applications on my N70. Afterwards the sound from the music keeps cracking every now & then. Has anyone else faced this problem? what could be the reason?

In a 128 MB card, you can store approx. 30 tracks in 128 kbps, 4 minutes each song. With 64 kpbs, you can double it to 60 tracks. But as the bitrate (kbps) decreases, the file size and sound quality decreases also. In the 64 kbps bitrate, I recommend you to transcode the tracks into AAC or M4A formats because they have better quality sound output at lower bitrates compared to competing formats like MP3.
To transcode the tracks, you must use a music converter. I suggest you use the dbpoweramp Music Converter software over at www.dbpoweramp.com Download the specific codecs you need ( in your case download the AAC codec at their Codec Central) then install it after the Music Converter software. The MP3 conversion and Power Pack features lasts only for 30 days because it is shareware, but you can use the conversion features after the trial expires.
For the max card capacity problem you may contact Nokia to see what card is the largest you can insert to your phone. Maybe 512 MB would be ideal for this.

Ringtone sound cracking up

When I listen to my normal music via the phone's speakers, I'm extremely disappointed because the sound cracks up, especially with songs with heavier bass.
Now I just bought 2 ringtones to test, and they both crack up as well - no surprise there.
Here's to hoping iPhone version 2 improves its speaker quality. Partner up with Bose or something.
Is it just me, or are people experiencing the cracking sounds as well?

The song I really like though, is Clothes Off by Gym Class Heroes. Unfortunately it seems the feature doesn't make this sound much better...
Anyone else got ideas? Or is the quality of my speakers sub-par from other iphones and I should go to Apple Store to fix it?

Install pcsuite to a laptop with blutooth or desktop with bluetooth dongle. Activate the bluetooth on the phone then pair it.

You need to turn off the Zoom accessibility feature. Tap the screen twice with three fingers to get to normal screen. Then go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn Zoom off. You can also do that by connect the computer to iTunes and going to the Summary pane for the iPod and go to Configure Universal Access.

Gaming sound cracking

This is well known issue with Lumia series most of the games have same problem sound cracks alot and it skips too don't know why this happens.chipsets are good in all Lumia serious but the OS is not capable too handle the maybe a problem with sound drivers Microsoft should fix this in next Lumia denim update for Lumia 525.

Have you tried any xBox games? If stuff designed for Microsoft's own systems has the same problem, then that developer may be right. He could just have been saving face, not wanting to say "We don't know how to make it better".

How to fix sound cracking in my notebook ?

Installed new audio drivers, but still facing sound cracking problem in my PC.

I would check to see if you have a BIOS update available for install. Then I would perform a hard reset and test it. Try plugging headphones in and see if they made the cracking sound. If not, it could simply be a hardware problem with the speakers or speaker wiring.
To Perform A Hard Reset
Shut down the computer by going to the Start menu and selecting shut down. (If you have no display, hold the power button down for 5 seconds); (if the computer doesn't power on, move to the next step)
Disconnect the AC Adapter from the notebook.
Remove the battery from the bottom of the notebook. There will be a switch/button to eject the battery.
Wait at least 1 minute with all power sources disconnected.
Re-insert the battery and reconnect the AC Adapter and then attempt to power on the notebook.

My music sounds garbled - is not playing correctly

This is my son's iPod and Im not sure what he has done to it, but the music sounds like it is being played under water. I have did the 5 R's and also wiped out all the music and reinstalled it and Im getting the same effect. It is not the ear buds either. Not sure what else I can do for it. Any suggestions???

If you have done the 5 R's and tried multiple pairs of headphones and it still does the same thing. I would suggest setting it up for repair if it is still under the warranty, as it may be the headphone jack itself or something else hardware related.

Push and hold the select button on the remote while the content is playing. You should get an audio options menu. Guessing you selected one of the the secondary audio track options by mistake somewhere.

Am i the only one with the problem that a lot of my itunes music sounds overdriven

basically, some of the music i downloaded sounds overdriven, but when i listen to the music with VLC player for example it sounds absolutely fine, also the problem with the music sounding overdriven is easily solved by enabling bitperfect

Sounds lke the headphone jack is broken. It happens sometimes. There are third-party places that will replace the jack. Here is one. Google for more.

Adding files to the FCP X Music & Sound Facility

Having recorded, say, a Sound Effect using Soundtrack that I want to keep for future use, the logical thought is to export it as an AIF file and add it to the iTunes Library, something I have done in the past. Now iTunes won't recognise the Soundtrack file. I have posted this message on the iTunes forum, but is there a way of adding the file to the Music & Sound facility without using iTunes, or what is the next best option.
What I had tried initially was to copy a MPEG 4 movie, which iTunes will import, however as I was only interested in the soundtrack I took the movie file into Soundtrack and exported the AIF file intending to addd it to the iTunes library so that it would appear in the Sound iTunes listing, but I can't.

You have got me confused. My original intention was to use Soundtrack to strip the audio from an MPEG 4 movie and save it in iTunes for use in FCP X. The problem was that iTunes wouldn't recognise an aiff file created by Soundftrack 3.01. either from the Movie or from an audio recording from a microphone. However the same aif file introduced into Garage Band 4.1.2 and converted to AAC was accepted by iTunes. It was then availble for use in FCP X. My version of Garage Band only appears to export in either AAC or MP3, so how do I get an aif file into iTunes in order to access it in FCP X?
I could create the aif file in Soundtrack , drag it to my Music Folder, and then import it to my FCP X event folder, but that is messy.
Alternatively is there a way of creating a new folder in the Sound & Music pane of FCP X into which I could put my files, although that isn't an ideal solution?
In what way is an AAC file ubsuitable for FCP X?

HELP! Why is the music sounding distorted

Hi there, so i put on all music on the ipod, and two days later it is sounding all distorted and garbled, do i have to take it all off and start again? This ipod nano sure has its imperfections...thanx

The equalizer might be on.
On the nano, even if the equalizer is set to off in the iPod settings, the equalizer setting in iTunes is used. If you have a track in iTunes with a custom EQ set to, say, "rock" the iPod will use rock. It may sound fine though the computer speakers but not so good though the earbuds.
Not all iPods are consistent about how they use the per track EQ settings from iTunes. On a 5G iPod, for example, setting the EQ on the iPod to off means it plays everything flat.
You could try setting the EQ on the iPod nano to "flat" while the song in question is playing. If that clears it up you should set that song to use a flat EQ in iTunes. Then it will always play like that on the nano.
Most modern music doesn't need equalization and adding it usually makes music sound distorted and garbled.
