N70 should sync - "can't connect" HELP

I have the latest Mac OS X and the latest iSync 2.3. It should be able to sync with Nokia N70, Apple's website confirms this. However, after I've paired the phone with my iMac, and try to add device to iSync, it finds it but says: "iSync cannot connect to this device".
Why?! Help please, I bought this phone because of its supposed sync ability!

Not automatically!
You must first pair it with your computer, in iSync's "Add Device".
Then you must configure it with iSync, see the manual if you have not done that before. But it's easy!
After doing that and restarting both the phone and iMac, I've had no problems, contacts and calendar sync perfectly.
And you must have OS 10.4.7 and iSync 2.3

There should be an option (on the left hand side of your iTunes) for your iPod. Then when you click on it you will just need to setup and there will be an option to sync at the bottom right hand corner

After 10.7.5 update, Bluetooth can't connect, help!

I'd been using a BT speaker (Logitech Boombox) with more or less reliable connectivty with my MacBook Air (2012) (my Android phone never has a problem connecting to speaker), but after updating to 10.7.5 now, I can't connect to any BT device! The MBA is paired to both devices (phone and speakers), but now won't connect to either. I've tried to re-pair the devices, I've tried the "update services" trick, my MBA is "discoverable", yet nothing works. It's not the speaker, as it connects fine with my Android phone. Losing my mind on this one, please help!

UPDATE, SOLVED?: Somehow, it has magically fixed itself...I literally have no idea how, as I have spent 2 hours messing with it, it just started to work again and list itself as connected. One idea is that perhaps the MBA wouldn't connect until it was "needed", i.e. until I tried to play something from ITunes? But I had tried that before with no luck, soooo. Another Idea is that I had my HDMI hooked up while playing around, and perhaps that would try and take the audio signal instead of letting it go into the BT?...It's a mystery but at the moment, it works, knock on wood.

I have the same problem, since the update two days ago, appears when you always unlock the Apple logo and a loading bar (see file below). Have been three times all over itunes set to the factory settings and reload. Still the same. Now also in use, always on the screen with the Apple logo. Please help me, what's up?

Firefox Sync can't connect behind Zscaler proxy

Last week the enterprise I work in changed their proxy to a Zscaler one. With the previous proxy I could use Firefox Sync without any trouble but since that it seems I can't use Sync anymore.
The error that shows says "Sync encountered an error while syncing: Incorrect account name or password. Sync will automatically retry this action" but I'm 100% sure that both account name and password are right because I haven't changed them and they work in my computer at home.
In my Firefox Preferences > Advanced > Network > Connection > Settings I'm using "Use system proxy settings" as I always did (tried with our PAC file in "Automatic proxy configuration URL" but haven't had any luck too), have all the Zscaler certificates installed and can browser to any allowed site.

The logs provided might not be enough to determine what is happening on the proxy side. It was mentioned that the proxy might be refusing to send an auth header or something, but that's largely invisible to Firefox sync servers. It seems you already got the message to cordinate with rfkelly to find the request in logs to make sure.
Comparing this to your timestamp in the proxy on your network may reveal. Go to the #sync channel or we can file a bug at bugzilla.mozilla.org and needsinfo rfkelly with this troubleshooting information for more details. Please respond with any questions about this, we are happy to assist.

Network Adapter can't connect - HELP!

I'm getting the infamous "Network adapter could not establish the connection" error
for my RDBMS realm. I am running WLS 6.1 on Win2k. What is really wierd is that
I have an instance of WLS 5.1 running on the same box and I don't see that problem.
This started about a week ago... I used to have 6.1 running, then it did this
for a day, then it ran and now it seems to be permanently unhappy. I've looked
through the newsgroup posts and everything in my setup seems OK.
Any ideas?

I'm not positive on this, but it might be a encryption compatibility problem between your network and your AirPort Card. I believe that OS 10.3.x is only capable of the basic encryption WEP, and not the the more modern encryptions WPA and WPA2. I also think if you upgrade to 10.3.9, that might help get you into WPA encrpytion but it still not up to WPA2 that many modern networks now use. Then there is 40 bit and 128 bit encryption, and I can't help you there with that.
There are two iMacs with a G4 1Ghz chip, the 15" model M9285LL/A or the 17" model M8935LL/A. Both of these are AirPort Extreme ready. Did you use an AirPort card or an AirPort Extreme card? Perhaps this might be a conflict.
There are WiFi protocols like IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n (with each letter signifying a different protocol). I'm pretty sure the original AirPort card on worked on IEEE 802.11a/b. That might be a problem.
I have an old Tangerine iBook running 10.2.8, that I can't use anymore on WiFi because it couldn't handle the encryption.
I hope some of these might be helpful.

Can't Connect - HELP!!!!!!

I have an iBook (OSX 10.2.8) and every time I try to connect to iTunes I get the following error message:
"could not complete the music store request. The store may be busy. Check your internet connection or try again later."
Well, I have tried many times and I still get the same message. I can't update to the latest version, as system requirements indicate I have to have at least 10.3, which I don't.
Has anyone experienced this problem? What do I do??

AAD Sync can't connect to forest

Hi, I'm installing a new AADsync for a customer, but when I try to connect to the customer's forest (third step of the install/config of AADSync) I got this error : "the
specified forest does not exist or cannot be contacted".
Pretty sure that the forest is correct, I'm pretty sure that I'm able to connect to it. I tryed to install AD users and computers on the same server where I'm running AADSync
, and I'm able to connect to the forest with the same account without any problem. I tryed to force to use a different domain controller. I tryed to install on a different server/different OS. Nothing, I changed the user to connect to the forest too. Nothing,
It's not connecting.
Any idea please? We are really worried since we cannot understand why we are having this situation.

Hi, sorry for the long delay in replying. We took our time to check everything.
We opened an SR to MS, asking if its possible, using cmd commands or powershell, to put a filter during the installation. We based our question to MS on the fact that to install AADSync with full SQL you have to do it usign command line.
MS replied that its something by design and cannot be changed in any way.
The customer had some reason to open another SR with Premier Support and opened it. We are waiting for a reply (that I think, will be not different for the first one).
I think that the only way to do it is to use FIM and not AADSync, but off course you have to do create all the rules and all connectors from scratch.
Or, convince the customer to open all firewall ports for each child domain, off course.

In the article you were coming from, there is actually a section regarding what to do if you have never synced to iTunes before:
If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer
If you see one of following alerts, you need to erase the device:
"iTunes could not connect to the [device] because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the [device] before it can be used with iTunes."
"You haven't chosen to have [device] trust this computer"
If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

In the Music tab of iTunes, do you have 'Include Voice Memos' checked?

TS1398 Despite all my software are up to date, How can I connect to iTune? store. I can access itune store on my Mac( Lion ) but cant do the same form my iPhone that is synced with my Mac. Please help as I cant update my useful apps.

Whenever I try to update my apps from my 4S iPhone it says " can not connect to iTune store.". I can do the same from my Mac PC with same password.

Try logging out of your account on the iPhone by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

It all start when I purchased some coins for the Facebook game bejewelled & it's gone down hill from there.
First after putting my password I got a message telling me my purchase was unsuccessfull then was prompted to put my password in again which I did & a message flashed up for a second saying something about my purchase being successful but not downloaded but soon after my coins appeared so I didn't think much more of that. UNTIL I got emails showing my purchase, which would fine as nothing is free but I realised I had been invoice twice for the same purchase, so I panick think how can I can my money back, so I clicked on the report a problem highlight in blue & I'm transferred to iTunes, after a short while a message pops up telling me I can't connect to iTunes.
I've tried lots of different ways to fix this but had no joy, I can't seem to get onto iTunes to get any suport either but it's still letting purchase stuff & look & purchase music & apps though iTunes, I've reset my device & also plug into my laptop, checked all my settings on the device etc:-

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

wifi is wifi, and business hub means very little.. this is area for time capsule discussion.. but the standard measures apply.
1. Set wireless name (SSID) to a name that is short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric. Eg your Business Hub call wireless BH. There is no need for names longer than that.
2. Set wireless channel for 2.4ghz to 11 or 6 or 1. Please test in that order. In Eurozone you can add 13 or use it instead of 11. They are the only 3 non-overlapping channels.
3. Use no security to test.. of course this is unsafe long term.. so this is to test for a few minutes only.
The only security that should be used with N wireless is WPA2 TKIP-AES .. it can be named several different things ie in Apple routers it is WPA2 personal. Use a passkey of 10-20 characters.. more if you are paranoid, mix of upper and lower case + numerics.. so pure alphanumeric.
4. If it fails set the mode to G wireless. It is more consistent standard.
If it still fails buy an Apple router and use that as WAP.
