N72 no signal and can't get any network connection

I have had my N72 for a couple of months and I haven't had any problems. Now all of a sudden it has gone offline and I can't get a connection. It is not the carrier, my sim card works fine in my old phone. I also tried another sim card in the N72 and I am still having the same problem. I can't receive or place any calls. Any suggestions?

Yes, I did try to go on my settings>wifi and was waiting for any wifi signals to pick up, but nothing shows up. But on my PC I get a whole list of networks to choose from. Regarding my neighbor, I already have her password that is why I was able to get it on my PC, the problem is that the mini Ipad is not picking any signal neither can it locate me when I go to maps.

TS1398 bought a mini and also have an IPAD2 have used ITunes to download all programs to the mini but have NOT BEEN ABLE TO have the connection to the Internet and CAN NOT get any emails. I NEED HELP!!!!!!!

I thought when I bought a MINI that all I'd need to do is sync up with ITunes to get all apps and setting to the Mini. I was wrong as I can not connnect to the internet and can not get any emails. Have tried just about all suggestions under support but need to reach out to actual users who may have run into similar prblem. I must be missing something as I have to believe that Apple would make it as simple/easy as possible to connect to the interne. I still have my internet connect with my Ipad2.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Hi, I have a MacPro and can't get it to connect to my emails or Chrome / Safari to work. The Internet works fine on my iPads; I have used the network diagnosis tool to check that the Ethernet connection is fine, and it is. Help, please?

I don't have another computer that I can connect to the Ethernet; and its not really practical to move the Mac Pro nearer to the Airport Express to get wifi signal. I've tried turning everything completely off (including taking the plug out of the socket), but it still doesn't work. Any ideas, please?

Desperate times call for desperate measures:
System Preferences > Network > Ethernet > (Assist Me) > Assistant ...
... and set it up again, being sure to specify a new "Location". Do not keep the "Automatic" one, create a new one or accept the default (current date&time).
A "Location" is a basket of settings from all over the place that could influence how your network connection behaves. Thye were invented to collect together such stuff so that you could switch fro "Home" to "Work" to "StarBux" just by specifying the Location, and all the settings needed would be pulled together and applied at once.
Sometimes a stray setting gets included by accident, and a new setup eliminates that stray setting and it perks up and works afterward.

I have a Windows XP Pro PC and Can't Get it to Connect to an Airport Wireless network

Hi, I'm kinda at my wit's end here. I have a desktop PC using Windows XP Pro operating system. To get wireless, I'm using an external wireless d-link USB.
It works fine on my home network. I took the desktop to my local repair guy. There's nothing wrong with it that would prevent network connections. And, natch, the wireless network is working well on everyone else's computers there, including my MacBook. But what happens with this PC is that it sees the network and then tries to connect and doesn't connect ever.
Any ideas?

Googling around, I decided to try changing the password to 13 characters on the airport. That did the trick.

HT4356 When I try to set up my itouch I get an error message itunes store unknown error 310. I don't have wieless so I hooked the ipod touch up to the computer with the USB port when instructed. But then get the error message and can not get any further.

Error message 310 is happening on my mac book and I am unable to set up my new itouch.

If you are running Tiger, you don't have time machine.
You need to get something like SuperDuper! or Carbon Copy Cloner (sorry, I don't have a handy link for CCC but you can Google it to get their site) to make a clone of your drive on the external and then do incremental backups. The free versions do a lot and you can upgrade to the full-service versions for small change if you need more. The one time I used SuperDuper! for cloning a volume it worked just fine.
(My backup application is the last PPC capable version of Retrospect, which does a credible job, or has over the past ten-twelve years.)

Nobody can help you without proper system and version information or other technical details. if the update is botched, then run the cleaner tool and reinstall from scratch.

I took my computer in for service just before the warranty expired now I have one question and can't get any help. The sound buttons on my keyboard no longer work

I installed the new Mavericks update on my MacBook Pro when it was released and offered free of charge. After that my computer started crashing on a regular basis, upon the realization that my warranty was due to expire at the end of the year I took my computer in to the Apple Store in Green Hills Mall about 5 days before Christmas. To anyone not familiar with Green Hills in Nashville TN the traffic is horrendous at all times let alone 5 days before Christmas. They had to send it off for service and it was shipped back to me on Christmas Eve. Through the holidays I haven't used it much. I usually just use it at work between customers and most of the time just leave it here. Friday evening I played videos with no problems, when I came back in on Monday and played a video the sound had decreased dramatically and the volume control keys on my keyboard would not work. I don't know if they were working before because I don't remember if I used them or not since Monday was the first time the volume was so low. Now my warranty is expired and I am very poor ( The I have a job, a roof over my head and food to eat but a negative balance in checking account and bills still to pay kind of poor) so I am hoping that someone out there knows what's causing this and how to fix it.

Mavericks has had a lot of compatability issues and are slowly being fixed. This is why I haven't upgraded yet.
Either downgrade back to Mountain Lion or just wait for a software fix.

Although the AirportExtreme's green light is on, I can't get any Internet connection. I've tried everything, but to no avail! What can I do?

While I was using the internet, the connection was suddenly lost, although the green light of the AE was still on. There was no warning whatsoever. Since then I have tried everything I could think of: I consulted Network Diagnostics & Configurations, the Assistant and Airport Utlility. I also tried resetting it, unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for a while, thinking/hoping that perhaps it just needed a break, yet none of the the things I tried has worked. Whenever I use Diagnostics etc. the problem can neither be found nor fixed...!
Restoring the AE won't help, as I need all it's information, to which I don't have access at the moment.
What can I do to get a connection again? Could it have been hacked??

Have you checked to see if your ISP carrier's signal is arriving at your home? The ISP may be down, you know. I have had the confusing situation where the AE's light is green, but the signal being received from my ISP was unusable.

Wireless devices are susceptible to interference. Review this article for common sources: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3048#5
They are also very sensitive to low power. Make sure you are using VERY fresh batteries. If they have been sitting on a shelf for months they don't count as fresh IMO.
Troubleshooting steps to try after you read that article at the top:
Remove the following to the trash: Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences > com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
Restart the computer and re-pair the mouse and keyboard

Have you been syncing the iPod with iTunes? Then you just connect the iPad and set it up through iTunes and sync any content you want onto it.

In terms of games/apps. If they are not universal (you will see a + symbol next to them) or made for iPad (you would see an HD in the name, usually) then they won't look good on an iPad as those apps will open in a iPod sized window, giving you the option to enlarge.

If you used join a network then the TC turns off its ethernet ports.
