N73 and multiple active bluetooth connections
Hi couldn't find anything specific on this in the posts. N73 user manual (p82) says several bluetooth connections can be active at one time. I believe this is called a piconet. However, I can't connect to Jabra BT 205 headset and TomTom 500 simultaneously. Phone says disconnect from the other device if I want to proceed. Really need to get traffic info from TomTom whilst staying legal on the road with my bluetooth headset. All help much appreciated!

N73 is BT 2.0 + EDR, my 5500 is also sporting the same BT version, i found out that i can connect with my BT headset (also 2.0) and my e61 (BT v 1.2) simultaneously, however with my BT dongle (BT v. 1.1) i am having problem...
Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like I need to get a BT 2.0 headset. Jabra BT 205 seems to be 1.1
well, the thing is that is my experience and it might be different with you, it is not necessarily be the correct way, i suggest you try some BT 2.0 headsets 1st to see how it goes...

This error occurs if there is a LDAP authentication issue for the user used to bind to Active Directory, the value
Data 525, refers to user not found error that is used to bind to the Active Directory.
Make sure you have the correct credentials to connect to the Active Directory.
You can simplify the test using the LDAP Broswer, which helps you to connect to the LDAP servers.
A sample usage of LDAP Broswer is given below.

N85 and Ford Fiesta Bluetooth connection.
I have recently changed cars from a Ford Focus to Ford Fiesta. When I connect my N85 to the car bluetooth everything works as it should except the music player on the phone starts up & plays music. I did not get this problem when connecting to the Focus. The only difference I can see is I now have an iPod connected in the car as well.
Sorry never managed to find a solution. Just have to put up with closing the music player each time my bluetooth is connected.

hi guys having connection problems been trying to connect my iPhone 5 and iPad mini via Bluetooth with no luck trying to find the device on either product I've got nothing else connected it worked fine on my ipad3 any help appreciated
I'm having the same issue. The only thing that has worked is to turn on the personal hotspot on my phone and then the Bluetooth connection will work.
Must be a bug that's not fixed? -
ADF 11.1.1.2 Application Timeout with Active DB Connection
Hi all,
just a query really; are we able to set a timeout for an ADF application that has an application module and an active database connection for an extended period of time, such as 10 hours?
We have previously changed the value in the applications web.xml file to the correct value (600) but when we come to test the app after waiting about 5-6 hours, the application whirls away and throws an error:
JBO-30019: An unavailable cookie state is detected while attempting to use a cookie from the application SJFG..., session 109imtacg62_...
Is there another setting we have to apply to Weblogic to increase the cookie state timeout?

I had the same problem and solved it by checking the Secure Admin Enabled check box and writing the full computer name (domain included) in the Configuration tab of the Server Connection Properties dialog in JDeveloper.

Bluetooth connection using iPhone personal hotspur
I try to connect my iPad and iPhone by Bluetooth connection of iPhone personal hotspot. But both decries do not find each others, even it says NOW dicoveable ?
Same to me. Got a new IPad 3 and once it worked to use the pasonal hotspot on my IPhone 3GS device. If I now switch on personal hotspot on the IPhone the IPad can see the IPhone in Bluetooth but can not connect. The IPhone won't show the IPad at the Bluetooth device list.
Any solutions? -
Lost my Bluetooth connection (no wireless keyboard or touchpad).
I've just updated to 10.6.8 and lost my Bluetooth connection (no wireless keyboard or touchpad). How do I get it back?
I went to About this Mac and under Bluetooth it says No information found. However, before the update, both the keyboard and pad worked fine.You are welcome.

Satellite T130-11U lost Bluetooth connection after installing Mobile Broadb
I recently bought a Satellite T130-11U and established a connection with my Nokia N82, using PC Suite.
Then I installed my Mobile Broadband (TMN operator) and lost the Bluetooth connection.
There must be some way to overcome this "conflict".
Anyone faced the same problem?

Maybe this 3rd party application is not compatible and this is the reason why this happens
But first of all you should check if the Bluetooth is still enabled
Furthermore you should check if this issue would happen after installation of new BT stack

Can I have 2 Bluetooth connection active at the same time? Works with other phones...
Is it possible to have one Bluetooth connection for "phone audio" and a 2nd connection for "A2DP" music streaming at the same time on my iPhone 5? My car-stereo has Bluetooth for phone calls but NOT for audio streaming. However, there's a 3.5mm aux in on the head unit. On my S5 I can create one Bluetooth connection to the car-stereo and select "phone audio" and a 2nd for my Bluetooth aux-in adapter. It works perfect since months but last week I changed back to an iPhone (5s) and it appears that I can only have ONE BT connection active at a time!? Any ideas anyone?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
The iPhone can maintain multiple pairing records, but it can only connect to one headset or hands-free device at a time. However, in your situation there may be a solution. You can connect the iPhone via Bluetooth for calls and use the 3.5mm jack on your iPhone and car radio to connect for music.

Using My N73's Bluetooth connection as adapter for...
Hey guys,
This is not a question that can be put into one sentence...
I shall put it as short and descriptive as possible.
I can connect my laptop to the internet using the Built-in Modem I have in my laptop (Dial-Up).
My brothers laptop is new, He does not have a Modem built in and I do not have any other hardware here.
I was thinking, Is it possible to Have the following setup
Dial-Up -> Laptops Modem -> N73's Bluetooth connection -> Brothers Bluetooth connection (on his laptop) -> Internet.
So actualy making a Networking Bridge from My Laptops Modem to the Bluetooth of my N73.
(I could maybe buy a Lan Cable somewhere here and make a Networking Bridge between the Modem and the Lan port, but only if this is not possible whatsoever.)

What I ment is what I said, I never mentioned my laptop having a Bluetooth connection nor using my telephone as a modem. I said that I wanted to use my Laptop as Modem and my brothers laptop as the client connection through bluetooth to my telephone wich in his way would be just a bluetooth adapter for my laptop. Now I figured that out myself and I had Dial-Up Internet on both laptops.
Since It worked I am going to ask another question hoping that you guys will just say I don't know instead of It's not possible.
How do I configure my N73 to become my laptops Bluetooth Adapter so I can connect any bluetooth device to my laptop.
(saves me 20 euros, but that is not the point) -

Anyone can help me with connecting N73 to Windows Media Player via bluetooth?
I have Nokia PC Suite updated and Bluetooth connects with it.
I can see it on "My Computer" folder as a phone and also as a camera.
In Device Manager, i can also see it as a "Portable Media Device"
But Windows Media Player doesn't seem to detect it when it is connected to PC via bluetooth. Only when connected by cable. But as I want to get rid of the cable, how should I manage this?

MS Visual C++/Delphi 7 and multiple db connections/sessions
I've been reviewing peformance problems with an app that was written in MS Visual C++/Delphi 7. It was originally written to use SQL Server but has since also been ported to run on Oracle. The problem (well, at least one of them) is that each screen can have multiple controls on it (various OCX's and the like) and when any of the controls needs to get data from the database, it opens its own connection. The C++ controls and the Delphi controls can't share a connection so the app will have to have at least two connections no matter what.
But my question is, how do you create a single connection to the database and use it over and over again in the various controls without opening and closing it? I'm NOT a programmer with experience in these tools. I've been asked to review performance from an overall viewpoint and one of the big issues, as I see it, is the fact that one user could have 1-??? sessions open at any given time. It makes tracing a user's activity almost impossible (as sessions keep coming and going) and creates problems with transaction control, etc.
Can anyone tell me a bit about if it's possible to create and use a single connection throughout the app for all the various different controls and if so, point me to a simple example?Assuming they're using ODBC, go into the ODBC Data Source Manager (from the Control Panel) and check to see whether the ODBC driver this app is using is set to pool connections. If it is, your application should be sharing connections. You may want to play with the pool timeout parameter, depending on how quickly your connections are being opened and closed.
If it has 4 controls all simultaneously asking for their own connection, it will have 4 connections open. If control 2 doesn't open a connection until control 1 has closed its connection, you'd only have 1 connection open. Hopefully, though, the next screen that wants a number of connections will be able to utilize the connections that have already been opened and placed in the pool.
