N73 and parrot ls3200

I have a problem with my n73 and my parrot ls3200. I had another phone some time ago and it was fine with the bluetooth device, but when i connect my nokia on the parrot's display i cant load the phonebook. I can speak or dial but only by numbers i cant use my names at all. If someone know how to fix it help me pls.

Hi
Thank you Parrotboy, I can not see that the Parrot is at fault because I have done a couple of tests.
1)My phone has the same problem with a Parrot in a other car
2)My Parrot works fine paired up with someone else phone.
So it's got to be in the phone somewhere.
It's been so good for a while, can these problem just happen and if so why?

  • N73 and Parrot car kit

    Hi every one
Thank you for taking time to read this topic.
I have at last been very happy with my N73, it has been working very well with my parrot car kit, and even the voice rec has been good.
Lately when I use them, together I am getting all kinds of noise interference and we cannot hear one another in fact it has come imposable to use them together.
I have tried the car kit with another phone, they are fine together, I have used my phone a way from the car kit, and the phone is fine.
Can any one tell me what my problem is please?
    Thank you

  • Nokia n73 and Apple iSync problems

    hello all,
I have a nokia N73 and an Apple macbook computer. I've been able to sync my n73 with my Apple (calendar and address book). It works for about 1 week and then stops working. I've tried deleting the n73 from iSync and installing it again (using both USB and Bluetooth). Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, which is really annoying.
I have Mac OS X version 10.4.10. and iSync version 2.4 (501.2). i did not install any plugins because this version of iSync and Mac OS X are supposed to be compatible, but I have not been able to make them work.
    Any help?
    Thanks,
    Cleidson de Souza

    Hello,
I have an iMac G5 with OS X 10.4.11, iSync 2.4, and an N73 Music Edition (not sure whether this makes a difference).
I modified a config file several months ago (I forget the details, but I copy and pasted the entry for a phone with the same operating system, called it N73 et voila.)
If I plug the N73 into the iMac via the USB cable and try and sync (after selecting PC Suite on the phone), connection fails. Every time.
However, if I power off the phone, and power it back on, then connect the USB cable and select PC Suite, synchronisation works perfectly!
I cannot explain why, but rebooting the phone enables iSybc to work every time. Answers on a postcard to...
    I hope this helps,
    Andrew.
PS. Selecting Mass Storage (instead of PC Suite) creates a new drive in Finder, which enables you to quickly and easily copy music/picture/video files to/from the iMac.

  • N73 and CK-20W

After not getting a response on here regarding the best car kit for outputting stereo music from an N73 to the car head unit I decided to go ahead and buy the new CK-20W multimedia car kit anyway.
I installed the kit myself and I am happy to confirm it all works perfectly.
Just a shame the N73 does not support A2DP streaming via bluetooth and so to have good quality stereo music through my head unit the phone has to be connected via the pop-port cable.
I have TomTom installed on the N73 too and this nicely interrupts the music when announcing a direction, excellent :-)

    Hi skyline_olyn,
I have N73 and I am thinking of buying CK-20W carkit+LD2 navigation pack. I read that there were some compatibility issues with N73 & CK-20W+LD2. From what I found out, the CK-20W works perfectly well with N73, until you start using LD2 for navigation. It sounds like everything works fine with your N73, despite the fact that on NOKIA Europe website, N73 is marked as not compatible wih LD2 nav pack. Does this mean that you are able to make/receive calls whilst navigating without phone hanging up, losing GPS signal etc? I would be grateful if you could confirm that you are using LD2 for navigating. Can you also tell me what firmware version you have installed on your N73?

  • I put on a lock code on N73 and now it wont go in

hi i put on a security lock code on my N73 and i put back in the code it will not accept it is there a by pass code so i could get back into my phone and take off the lock code

    option 1 from sticky
If you still experience problems, you can try if formatting your Nseries device helps. Format your device by dialling *#7370#. The device will request a security code, the default code is 12345 unless you have changed it.
    if that wont do try
    option 2
You could power up holding down the * 3 and green key to reboot the phone. Try it you never know. thats 3 keys at once while powering OK
    May do 3 key reset
option 1 I feel is no good to you
You plug it in USB to PC suite and try the software update from there You only need to have the power on I think
as it is controled from pc suite
try 3 key 1stMessage Edited by ivor_bigun on 11-Nov-200707:14 AM

If it is not possible to get them re-installed by inserted your memory card in. Snake is avilable as a .sis file on Nokia Web site support for N95, this can be installed on N73 too. My phone is APAC code, the rest just hidden under download program you can connect to cataloque by eGPRS and you will find a SpaceImpact for free and Sudoku is there to DL but have to pay for full, anyway very cheap.
Hope you will find them too.Message Edited by delixis on 06-Nov-200706:59 AM

  • N73 and Tom tom mobile

I have bought a N73 and Tom Tom Mobile but I am unable to get the software to work.
I copty the files from the cd on to a freshly formated memory card and all the files apear on the card.
When I put the card into the phone not all the files are visiable. if I put the card abck into the laptop the fiels are still there. Is this normal?
If it is ok how do I actually load up the application ??
is the software even compatiable with this phone?
    thanks

Where did you buy it from and what version is it? TomTom MOBILE 5 and older versions do not work with the N73. The newly released TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 will work, but at the moment I think only the PDA version has been released. It also mentions on the website that it only supports the E61 anyway... baaah.

Thank you - but this thread is about the N73 (3rd Edition Symbian)
So downloading it for an N70 wouldn't help what with it running on a different version of Symbian (2nd Edition).
    So that doesn't really help.
I used to use Yahoo GO on my N7 - all the time - great app it was too - but you just cant get it for the N73!
EVEN though it says so on their website!

  • N73 and Vodafone live!

We have just taken delivery of a brand new SIM free N70 and N73.
Both came pre-configured for GPRS with 4 access point options: Vodafone Internet GPRS; Vodafone live!; Vodafone live!streaming; Vodafone MMS.
On selecting Vodafone live on the N70, the handset connects to Vodafone live! and displays content no problem.
On selecting Vodafone live! on the N70, the handset displays 'Connecting via Vodafone live!, and then displays a white page with a progress bar at the top. The progress bar progresses briefly and then an error message is displayed: 'WEB: unsupported content type". The screen remains white with no content.
I have spoken to Vodafone, who have sent me a text message to re-configure my GPRS settings via the Nokia web site. This I have done. I have also switched off the N73 for 20 mins as instructed by Vodafone.
    The problem remains.
Vodafone have now said it is a fault with the handset!
However, I can access the Nokia site via the Vodafone GPRS access point.
The same problem occurs if I choose Vodafone WAP as my access point.
I would be very grateful if some body could shed some light on this issue?Message Edited by william_bell on 10-Aug-2006

    +++ UPDATE 2 +++
On checking the available settings between the N70 & N73 and between the two different access methods on the N73 (web & services) I have noticed some differences...
    N70: Access point/Show images and ob.../Font size/Default encoding/Automatic bookmarks/Screen size/Home page/Search page/Volume/Rendering/Cookies/java-ECMA scripts/Security warnings/Serial No sending/Conf. DTMF sending
    N73 Services: Access point/Home page/Load imgs & sounds/Font size/Default encoding/Auto bookmarks/Screen size/Search page/Rendering/Cookies/java-ECMA scripts/Security warnings/Conf. DTMF sending
    N73 Web: cess point/Home page/Load imgs & sounds/Default encoding/Auto bookmarks/Screen size/Mini map/History list/Cookies/java-ECMA scripts/Security warnings/Block popups
What is most notable is that what appear to be two main settings - Rendering & Conf. DTMF sending - are present in the N70 & N73 Services both of which work; but are not present in the N73 Web, which does not work.
Could this suggest that there may be an error in the Nokia software?

  • N73 and CK-7W

I was using a 6680 with a CK-7W carkitvia bluetooth. When the 6680 connected it automatically changed to the Pager profile. I now have an N73 and this doesn't seem to have this option. I have to manually set it to Pager. Any ideas?
    Thanks

    This is strange.
If you connect to a carkit you should get into HANDSFREE profile and that even automatically.
Maybe you have changed the names of the profiles ? Can you see the little car icon in the phone´s display ?

  • N73 and mac os 10.5.6

I just bought a N73. I have problem with Bluetooth connexion.
I can connect it with USB cable but not via Bluetooth.
The Mac Operating System is rather new OS 10.5.6. I tried from different computer and I had success only with an old Mac OS 10.4.11.
With the newer OS it doesn't work (I tried different computer laptops and desktops). The device has been paired but the connection is unsuccesfull. I checked the telephon's firmware and it seems being the latest (v 4.0812.4.0.1 telephone code 0551906). I tried to download some plug-ins from Nokia web site but none is ready for download. I tried to connect from the telephone but it does'nt pair. I tried also with a third part software (FoneLink), no chance.
    Can you help me?

  • N73 and windows media player driver

    hi everyone,
im having a problem installing the windows media player driver off the disc for the n73 it installs everything else but fails to install that anyone know where i can down load a copy.?
    ive got:
    pc suite 6.83
    windows xp service pack 2
    windows media player 11
    cheers

I have the latest version of Windows Media Player 11. I have the same problem and will try to explain the steps in the best way I can.
I connect the N73 to the laptop using a cable
I select media player and press ok twice.
Found New Hardware box appears and tells me "Windows needs to install driver software for your N73.
I select the recommended option "Locate and install driver software"
After a few moments I am then asked to insert the CD that came with the N73. It doesn't work as it is an old CD with old drivers from last year.
I select I don't have CD option and I get "problems and reports caused by mobile phone" message etc.
I have tried installing the latest CA-52 driver but I cannot install since I have the latest PC Suite. Windows Media Player is also set up to automatically download licenses required to play and synchronised tracks.

  • Suggest improvements for nokia n73 and other devic...

Nokia n73 is the most succsesful device ever made by nokia. But you noticed that the images taken by the n73 are little blury and the video is also poor. If theres is nothing harware problem why not nokia fix theme with software update. Why not nokia try to make n73 just like n78. This will be great if nokia update n73 software and fix the problem. N78 also powerfull device but its buttons make it lazy. N78 will be more greater if its button replaced with bigger and esiar. And the improved new device will launched n78i.

I would not bother getting a nokia at the moment.....
If you can live without nokia drive for now then i would hold back for atleast 6 months and see what happens.
Nokia have slipped down the chain a bit and are not as almighty as they use to be.
There are loads of probs with the Lumia 800 and the 710 is not all that good compared to nokia's of old.
I got the 710 because of nokia drive and it is no where near as good as the old Ovi navigation...
In fact the whole phone is a let down....with poor camara, poor sat nav, poor speaker and poor battery...
The Actual phone is a nice design and the screen is not bad...WP7.5 looks interesting but still needs a lot of work to catch up with the others.
Not sure what the Omnia is like...but if i knew then what i know now about the 710 i would of gone for the HTC Radar and just used my N8 for Sat Nav.

I found the answer on another forum. This works for the N73, I presume for the N80 too. Go to the downloads or catalogues folder. Get an update for the latest items and click on the Yahoo Go icon. Take it from there.
Great stuff - but I kinda accidentally uninstalled the 'download' app.
Anyone know where I can get that from?!
