N73 Camera dissapointing, purple/pink bleaching

Hi folks, just spent a lot of money on a N73, when taking a picture on the main camera, once auto focus has fixed an image of a pale pink / purple appears which is way off the mark interms of true colour andquality. However all apeears ok as the captured image is then displayed. But upon uploading to my computer the image is again pink/purple in coloue especially on the white subject. I have tried 2 N73's and they are noth the same.
My ols N70 2m camera produced far superior pics than this.
Any one else experienced this and is there an firmware software upgrade available? as it stands the camera isn't worth using asnd wish i'd bought a sony erricson

You would think most of the reviewers are color-blind based on their enthusiastic write-ups on the Nokia N73 camera.
Besides the issue of compression, the camera's auto-white balance function also seems to be poor. If you want better looking images, manually select white balance - you'll find that even your outdoor shots will come out a little bit better - or try fixing white balance on your existing photos and you'll see remarkable improvement.
Unfortunately, it does not seem to be possible to have the camera set by default to a particular white-balance mode - every time you restart it is back to 'Auto' and the disappointing colors (black is nearly always off).
But the most frustrating thing of all (I'm actually willing to pardon the suboptimal colors) is the shutter lag. The bottom line is that either the processor or the S60 operating system is not up to the task of taking a standard snap-shot. The shutter lag on the camera (even if you choose images with less pixels) is huge. To see why it's probably a software/hardware issue, just look at how slow the phone is at opening most Java applications or even loading up the screen for a new SMS after you press a short-cut button.
There really are many excellent features on the N73, but as far as the camera is concerned, Nokia has over-promised and under-delivered.

EMac 700MHz display turned purple/pink. Can't boot from HD and CD

I have several issues here:
1) My eMac display turned purple/pink from the start
2) It won't start from either HD or CD. It gets to the grey Apple and the spinning wheel.. After a while of spinning, it freezes and nothing else I can do. This happens on booting from HD and CD.
Please help.

try unplugging the cord for an hour or so. unplug it completely, from where it goes into the machine as well as the outlet. if that doesn't work, you could also try a pmu reset. instructions are found in part 6 of this article. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=34885 let me know if that makes any difference.

N73 - camera problem

i have a problem with my n73 camera. when i open camera cover,and camera starts,at once it show "system error" message and it quit's operation. i had that problem three times now,this is third. last two times i did *#7370# reset code and camera worked fine for a while, but the problem comes back. i don't want to reset my phone over and over again,can you help me fix that? thanks in advance

If it works after a reset but stops again soon after, I suspect it may be due to an application you may be reinstalling on your phone after the reset. The challenge would be to figure out which application it may be. The good news is it is not hardware related as a hardware issue cannot be resolved with a reset.

After installing IOS 6 on my iphone 4, why is my camera taking purple pictures?

Immediately after installing IOS 6 on my iphone 4 on 9/22/12, when I attempt to use any of my phone apps, everything is colored in purple tint (see attached image). This includes taking video as well. If I flip the camera to the self facing camera, the purple goes away. This only happens on the front facing camera. I've tried googling this issue and cannot find anyone else complaining about this. Any ideas???

So, now I'm starting to feel like I'm the one and only lucky SOB to have this purple issue. For anyone who reads this, some more detail. Since posting this thread, I did a full reset from my iphone and that did not resolve the issue. Then, last night I did a full system restore from itunes which took about 4 hours and that didn't solve it either.
After all this, I started thinking that perhaps there's something wrong with the lens hardware but yesterday for approx 3 full seconds, the camera was normal then there was a stutter and it went purple again. Sounds like a software issue, so I'm really baffled why a system restore wouldn't cure this. Ugh!

My friend and I both work in a hospital and we go in out of signal continuously through out the day. Our problem is so bad that by mid afternoon our phone batteries are down to 20% as the phone is continuously searching for signal. Im on EE and their only advice was to reset the network settings, thats fine when you only have to do it once but Im doing it up to 20 times in 1 day. Hi all! Im on my 2nd note 3 and this one is worse than the 1st. I have a slightly noticeable purple/pink tint on half of my screen especially on the lowest brightness. My first device had it on the top half. I went in yesterday on my 14th day and the sales rep saw it and exchanged it. Of course i couldnt tell as bad because the lighting in the store is so bright. Now i have it on the lower half and its slightly worse than my first. Unfortunately I am just past the 14 return period. I dont know what to do. Now it is very noticeable. It almost seems to be getting worse. Samsung has the worst quality control. I wouldnt be that upset if i didnt spend $700 on this device. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue.

Screen has purple/pink lines and blue square whenever I plug in usb or ac adapter

Hi all,
I recently bought a macbook (white) at the end of last year. However, recently I've had a problem where if I plug in something to the usb (like an external hdd) or the ac adapter to charge, my screen gets purple/pink lines and a blue square. A screenshot of what I see is linked below. Any input for solving this problem would be appreciated.

What can I do? My whole screen is purple/pink on startup?

Step 2. Hold the power button down for at least one minute

My n73 camera has blue dots ....

Hi ...
I have big problem with my camera.. When i take pictures at night or recording a video at night there are blue dots and it's terrible...i have seen others n73 and they don't have that problem... my servsers in Macedonia have told me that the quality of taking picures at night is that...that is not a problem
Is that real or my servisers (ALPHA COPY) don't know how to repair the phone..
And i wish not to be dissapointed...

do the bluedots appear when transferring files to your pc?
possibility you have dead/stuck pixels.

Anyone having issues with iphone 6 camera with purple colors and it freezing?

I'm not sure if this is iOS 8.0.2 related as I didn't take many pics with iOS 8 when I first got my iphone 6 activated this past Sunday, but my camera app has been acting up. Usually, when I move the camera around to take pics and it tries to focus, sometimes the screen will freeze or there will be a purple haze. It is worse in the slow-mo or video options. I've searched online and seen articles on chromatic aberration on previous iphones, but I think what I have is beyond that. I haven't seen people posting about my same issues, so I'm wondering if it's hardware related. Anyone else experience something like this? If I take it to the Apple Store, will they replace it? I haven't dropped my phone or anything- everything else seems fine, but it's been less than a week so far.

This has been addressed by apple of which they said the customer is holding the phone wrong. There is not much you can do but try different shots and angles.
