N73 Connection To Internet via Bluetooth Problem

Hi guys, I need some help...
I got N73 ME, I'm using it as a modem with my PC(using cable) and its working good.
My problem is, if I connect it using blue tooth I cannot connect to the internet (I can browse, transfer, backup) the only problem is the internet connection. If I try to connect, I'll get "Failed to connect to the network! One Touch Access could not connect to the selected device".
Any help is highly appreciated.

reinstall your bluetooth drivers or pc suite?
and try !!
i did that, and my problem is now solved ..
also check your dial-up settings after re-installation,

  • Connect to Internet via Bluetooth with 6121 Classi...

I have a new Nokia 6121 Classic and a Thinkpad T60 with the latest Bluetooth drivers and Windows XP SP2.
I've installed the Nokia software and it asked to get the updated software from the Internet and installed 6.86.9.0
It connected fine via Bluetooth (WIDCOM) and I'm able to Sync my contacts/transfer files without any problems. I then throught I'd connect it to the Internet. I tried the cable connection and it connected fine via 3G to my carrier Optus.
However, if I don't use the USB cable and try via Bluetooth (what I want) it starts to connect and says 'Looking for bluetooth devices'...which is really strange since it's already connected !! Windows XP beeps quickly as if something has been plugged into a USB port, but nothing has. After about 20-30 secs, Windows XP beeps (as if something has been unplugged, but nothing has. The Nokia Connection Manager then says "No modem found!"
It's so strange...it can see the Nokia phone fine via Bluetooth. I then tried to connect via "My Bluetooth Places" and XP also connected fine to the phone. It then installed another dialup connection via Bluetooth. But if I click on that icon, it connects to the phone but then asks for a userid/password which I have no idea what to enter. So I think I need to use the Nokia PC suite, but it won't connect to the Internet via the phone, unless I use the USB cable.
It's a strange one... I've searched the forums but can't see any clues for my particular case.

    Operating system:
Microsoft Windows XP 32-bit Edition, Service Pack 2

    - Broadcomm (Version: 5.1.0, Build: 4700)

For anyone who's interested I solved this by:
    - Edit the Phone number for the bluetooth Modem and entering *99#
    - For the modem, setting it's Maximum speed to the highest. In my case it was 921600.
    - Go into Control Panel - Phone and Modem Options - Modems - Select Bluetooth Modem - Properties - Advanced tab and enter at+cgdcont=1,”IP”,”internet”
Dial the connection by going into My Bluetooth Places and double clicking on the icon. When prompted enter a blank userid and password. It should then connect to the Internet via your mobile !

  • Need help connecting to Internet via bluetooth'd cell phone

I have my iBook connected to my cell phone (i-mate K-jam) via bluetooth and I'm trying to figure out how to connect to t-mobile gsm so I can get to the internet. I can access the net with my K-jam by itself, I just can't figure out how to do it with my iBook. Has anyone done this and do you have a step-by-step???
    Thanks,
    Tom

Fixed it! I followed this: http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?p=6184897#post6184897 The key was to put a fake user name and password. Even though Tmobile doesn't require it, I had to put something in. d for user and u for password works...anything will work.

  • Problems connecting to internet via bluetooth from...

I am trying to connect to the internet from my Mac PowerBook using my Nokia 5300. The phone pairs nicely and sets up but when I press "Join network on Nokai 5300" which should connect me to the Internet, the computer connects briefly to the phone after which it disconnects and a message saying : Bluetooth network failed. Your device unexpectedly disconnected. Make sure it is turned on and in range." appears. I have tried the same thing with other 5300 phones and this process worked nicely. What could be the problem? Something in settings or maybe something is wrong with my phone?

As I understand it, if you have MacOS X 10.4.9 or later, it just works! It is a Mac after all.
You need to make sure that the phone itself is connected to the appropriate mobile internet account. On my Australian 3 mobile that profile is called "Mobile Internet". Your network provider should be able to help with this. Once that is set you should be able to browse anywhere on the internet with the phone.
Then just pair the phone with the Mac in the usual Bluetooth way. Use bluetooth preferences to check the services available in the phone. You need to see, "PAN Network Access Point" in the list. Your Bluetooth menu bar menu should now contain "Join Network on NameOfYourPhone" Select that and you are connected.
If you check System Preferences -> Network you will see that a new ethernet port has appeared which unfortunately has nothing to show that it belongs to the phone. There will also be a dial up port with the name of the phone.
SNAFUs when I first set this up it dropped out after a few seconds. Like all things computer, a restart on the Mac and turning Bluetooth on the phone on and off a few times solved the problem.
A PAN network access point is like a WiFi access point except it uses Bluetooth and it is simpler.

  • Nokia 3230 unable to connect to internet via USB c...

when i use CA-53 cable to connect to internet using nokia pc suite7.0.8.2 (one touch access) an error message pops up "unable to connect to the speified device make sure the modem is configured properly" but i can easily connect to internet via bluetooth   other functions like file manager , contacts , messages and back up can be accessed by using the CA-53 cable

I called a vw dealership (in South Australia) today because I have an iphone5 and a Tiguan and experienced the same thing (after i had purchased the lightening/30pin adapter).
I was advised that the media interface software is not compatible with iphone5.  VW will eventually update the software according to ol'mate at the dealership, but it will be at an expense to the consumer allegedly.
I know that there is a iphone/vw media cable one can purchase from VW however, I believe this to only work with iphone4 or older?
Maybe try an older generation ipod to use for the car if all ur music is in itunes?
if anyone can correct me, I'd be more than happy to know... going to try my older generation ipad and see if there is any truth to the tale.... eventually.  Until then i'll stream via bluetooth :-)

  • I have a problem in connecting to internet via WiFi.

I have a problem in connecting to internet via WiFi. This week I received my new "iPhone 6 and 6 plus". Problem is the new phones doesn't connect to internet via my home WiFi  while I don't have any problem on my other devices. The phones connect to WiFi but most of Apps can't connect to internet.

  • Connect iPhone to Internet via Bluetooth

I have a computer set up sharing ethernet internet connection via bluetooth. How do I connect iPhone to the Internet via bluetooth? (No cellular network, no wifi)

I have a computer set up sharing ethernet internet connection via bluetooth.
How do I connect iPhone to the Internet via bluetooth? (No cellular network, no wifi)
You cannot. There is no network connection available TO the iPhone over bluetooth. When tethering becomes available, you will be able to tether your laptop using the iPhone as an Internet connection, but not the other way around. The iPhone CAN use wifi for its internet feed though, but not bluetooth. Bluetooth only supports headsets today.

  • Automatically connect the Internet via dial up connection?

    Hi all,
I am using LabVIEW 6i. I require to connect the internet via modem. I want this to be done automatically. I read some of the discussion here which discuss some AT protocols. Sorry, but I am not aware of these protocols.
After this auto connection I want to get data from some links. I think this I could using URL property of the windows' browser. If some one has other options please let me know.
    Thanking you.
    Vishal Shah.

I'm not sure I understand your problem. Do you want to dial up a flow controller and talk to it via
Modbus? I am familiar with Modbus and modem connects.

  • Won't connect to ipad via Bluetooth

why won't my iPhone connect to my iPad via Bluetoot?

Well, I should have asked Pagancelt not sleeky as he said above he says he DID it.
    I quote:
Re: iPad won't connect to iMac via bluetooth
Apr 29, 2012 3:35 PM (in response to mccass)
I was successful in connecting my iPad and 27" iMac via bluetooth for the purpose of internet sharing, so it can be done. I was able to use my iMac's free wifi connection (which the iPad couldn't pick up, as I don't want to stand by the window) to get internet on the iPad. I forget how, unfortunately, which is why I'm back in the forums - my connection went down!
*Edit: Foolish me. My iMac shows up under "Devices" on the iPad Bluetooth pane in General Settings. All I had to do was tap it to revive the connection (since I paired the devices the first time I set up the connection). iPad is now getting internet off iMac again :-)

  • Can't connect to internet via MacBook Pro to Airport Extreme

I can't connect to internet via MacBook Pro to Airport Extreme. I reset AE and modem (power down and back up again). Some computers on my home network will connect fine and others won't. The ones that won't don't populate the DNS server or the Search Domains. AE shows up on all the machines. I have one computer also connect to AE via ethernet and it has the same symptoms. Why do some Macs connect and others don't. Even when I get them to connect when I shutdown or put in sleep mode over night I lose the internet connection and have to start all over. Very frustrating.

Regrettably no replies. I have struggled with this for days with no success and I have given up on the Airport Extreme. I have found several other Forum posts with very similar problems and no one seems to have a solution to this. It seems other wireless routers work better than the Apple product. I was able to get my old Linksys wireless router reset and it is set up and working well. The Linksys router does populate the DNS servers and domains where as the AE does not. Apple engineers should look into this. If I am mistaken and there is a fix for this someone please let me know, otherwise my AE will probably appear on Ebay very soon.

When you use the Airport utility what happens?

    Wi-Fi Setup Considerations
Things to consider before you begin
Start with a plan for the physical layout. Depending on whether you have an existing Wi-Fi network, or if you are using your AirPort Express as a standalone Wi-Fi device, there are several options available for you to choose from.
When using Ethernet, Cat6 cable is recommended.
The layout you choose should take into account environmental factors such as physical access, location, range, radio frequency interference, etc.
You will need to consider what AirPort Utility settings to adopt.
You will need to know whether you are using an AirPort Express (802.11b/g) or an AirPort Express (802.11a/b/g/n).
If you will be using more than one Wi-Fi base station, it may be helpful to read the article Extending the range of your wireless network by adding additional Wi-Fi base stations.

    Hi Tomiwa,
You cannot print from the iPad to that printer. AirPrint and Bluetooth are completely different.
There may be apps you can buy that will enable using that printer, but that is not an ideal solution.
That particular printer has had many bad reviews, and is unreasonably expensive for its features. Considering that you just bought the printer, as well as its lack of AirPrint, I suggest you return it and buy a printer that supports AirPrint.

my macbook pro is connected to internet via my time capsule but my iPad and iPhone won't. it shows wifi connection to the time capsule but when i go on to the internet on the iPad or iPhone, it comes up with network error. can anyone help?

This can be caused by a number of issues.
Was everything working and then suddenly stopped??
Or is this a new clean setup and has never worked.
Do you have a cable modem which is not a router and the TC setup in bridge? That will cause it. The TC must be in router mode, ie dhcp and nat.
Check the IP the MBP gets including dns and gateway..
Then check the ipad/iphone.. post what IP dns and gateway (router in applespeak) they get.
