N73 ME. Themes get invisible after installation.
Hello ..
My N73 Music edition is jsut 2 months old. When I install new themes, only some of them get installed properly others give message "certificate expired".
couple of times this has happened tha ti have installed a theme applied it for a while but when i changed it .its gone from the list forever.and when i try to install it again. it gives message update error.
I dont know whats happeing.exactly two times happened the same thing.
Thankx Rahul for your reply. But hte question is ? do I have to change the date whenever i am installing any theme ? If yes then Why ??
Software update , date is april 2007 , phone was manufactured in 2007, then why we have to change the date ? Any idea ?
Secondly I have noticed whenevr date is changed the alarm is removed.
In the mean time I have installed couple of new themes and couple of old ones vanished again.. They were properly installed and working. No I will never be able to install them again they will give message "Installation Error".

From your log snip-it, it looks like the firewall is causing your problem. Temporary turn off the firewall and see if that solves your problem.

Harddisk invisible after restart. Why?
I've search the forums, and couldn't find a topic, that relates to my problem.
I have two internal harddisks in my PowerMac G5. It looks like this, with partitions:
Harddisk 1 (2 partitions):
Macintosh HD (main system disk)
Mac Test Disk (secondary system disk, for testing other Mac OS or Linux systems)
Harddisk 2 (1 partition):
Storage Disk
Recently, I installed Mac OS X 10.4 on my Mac Test Disk, but since then, the Storage Disk keeps getting invisible, after each restart. It happens when I boot up in Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5.
I got an application, that makes it visible again, but it just gets invisible, when I restart. Quite annoying.
Anyone can help me?See if Paul Laskin's thread on the problem of the invisible bit getting constantly reset applies to you:
http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=5751668
If it does there is as yet no solution. There is a bug report on the problem, but there has been one on file for about two years now, so don't hold your breath waiting for Apple to have a fix. You might have to resort to the work around of making an alias to the partition that keeps becoming invisible, leave the alias on the Desktop, and just leave the partition with the invisible bit set.

Thanks and Regards, Rangnath MaliHi Rangnath,
For running SharePoint Designer 2013, you need to install Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework or higher.
Please uninstall the Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework, and install it again. After that, reboot your machine.

I have lost all my contact details on my iphone 4s and I cant get them back even after hitting restore button.
This might be because that your game update or other software automatic update killed your contacts. You should make a frequency and regular backup for your iPhone so that all the data could be renewed to your backup data. Whenever you lost iPhone data, you have a choice to restore from iTunes. That is easy and free.
However, this is not the end of the world if you don't have any backup of your iPhone contacts, you can recover contacts with iPhone data recovery software, but that need you to pay for it. So making a backup is a good habit. Do you know how to use iPhone data recovery software to recover iPhone contacts without backup? If not, you can search in YouTube to get step-by-step guide to recover iPhone contacts from iPhone without backup. This is such an example: How to Recover iPhone Contacts - Step-by-step Guide. -
I just upgraded to Snow Leopard then Lion and the computer shut down after installation.
Now when it starts up it gets as far as the apple icon and then shuts down again
whenever I turn it on it loads that far and then closes.
HELP!Restore your bootable backup/clone or Time Machine backup of Snow Leopard, launch Disk Utility from the install disc, repair the boot volume, and reinstall Lion.

After installation of latest Bridge and Photoshop version (2014.2.2) *.CR2 files will not be displayed correctly anymore, neither in preview nor in Camera Raw dialogue.
Some pictures have white squares with blue and red diagonal stripes that cover almost the complete picture.
When opening those files I have the same problem in Camera Raw dailogue and even in Photoshop eventually.
I tried to open the same same pictures on another computer with the same version of Bridge and Photoshop but the problem remains the same.
It seems like the files itselves are still ok, because if you open an explorer window the previews of the pictures are all ok. And the pictures' sizes remain the same.
I tried to clear the cache in both programs but it didn't help.
Has anyone an idea????First see if a reboot of your PC helps. If not,
Resets may be in order:
Photoshop: Press and hold Control - Shift - Alt immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be VERY quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your established preferences, which will lead to them all being set to defaults.
Bridge: Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears. Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK.
Outdated graphics drivers can also cause display problems. Go to your GPU maker's website and be sure you have the latest drivers for your card model. -
I bought a cd with Lightroom 5. After installation and registration I am not able to use 'help' function and I cannot update the software. Is anyone able to give me a hint how to handle it?
Thank you in advance
arlHi Keith, sorry for my late reply.
Surely I am able to connect to the help function when Icontact the website
of AdobeLR5.The problem is as follows,
When I open LR5 on my computer and work with it and try to open the help
function in the software, I don't get it.
When I bought the CD I was naiv enough to believe that I get an independent
working software. I learned in the meantime, that the seller does not allow
to work with, without being connected to them.
I don't believe that I am paranoid, but I like to buy something and use it
without to inform the supplier that I do it. Otherwise I could have bought
the license fpr LR5 via internet.
Best regards
Karl

Loginwindow.plist gets corrupted after a restart
Hello,
I have an installer package that, aside from installing components, modifies the loginwindow.plist such that it adds entries for my components. The installer works fine on Tiger and Panther OSes btw.
However, on Leopard, the loginwindow.plist file gets corrupted after a restart. As a result, the components which I have added in the plist do not run automatically - rendering them useless to the user unless it is manually launched/run.
Deleting the file and installing my own loginwindow.plist file solves the problem but this isn't an ideal solution.
Is the loginwindow issue a known OS issue? Has there been a change with the loginwindow.plist format for Leopard such that modifications need to follow a certain text encoding? Can anyone provide solutions as to how this issue can be avoided? The .plist is in your user library.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist.
After you remove it, you need to restart. -
Help!! Kernel panics after installation!!
Hi,
I am new to Arch Linux (migrating from Fedora). I am having some problems with the installation on my Sony VAIO CW (C2D, Nvidia GT230M). At first I couldn't get past the installation of X in the Beginner's guide, but after some tweaking with conf files I finally got it to work. But after reboot, kernel panic occured. This started happening intermittently from there onwards. Then I tried to install GNOME which failed miserably as in it panics and crashes everytime system starts.
Then I tried KDE and things are much better compared to GNOME. The problem is whenever I try logging into a new KDE session, kernel panics. Only KDE Failsafe mode works (with sound). I honestly dont know what to do as I have no idea why the problem is occuring also. I plan to stay with Arch, as nouveau works much better than it used to in Fedora (3d support). Can anybody help with this issue?

How can I perform a silent install of an application AND use "run executable after installation"
I am trying to do a silent install of a program I built using LabVIEW 8.5. I also need to call an exe after the installation, so I am using the "run executable after installation" option on the Advanced tab of the installer. I then pass the following command lines to the setup.exe:
/qb /acceptlicenses yes /r
This installs the LabVIEW program successfully, but does not then run the additional exe afterward. If I run the setup.exe normally (with no command line parameters), the additional exe gets run.
Thanks,

This problem is fixed in a future release of LabVIEW. Here's the CAR ID 67549 for tracking purposes.

Hi,
I have installed Oracle Workflow Builder 2.6.3 recently on my system and after installation, when I am trying to connect the workflow builder (using database username/password of that particular instance), it is throwing me the following error:
220: Unable to set NLS_LANGUAGE.
210: Oracle Error: ORA-01403: no data found
. SQL text: SELECT NLS_LANGUAGE FROM WF_LANGUAGES WHERE :l IN (NLS_LANGUAGE, CODE)
In the previous threads when I searched for the same issue, I found that if
select value from v$nls_parameters
where parameter='NLS_CHARACTERSET';
returns the value other then WE8ISO8859P1 then that is what I should change my NLS_LANG entry for the builder - i.e. AMERICAN_AMERICA.<character set>.
But I am not getting where should I change NLS_LANG, it is located where...some file? I am new to Workflow.
Please help me. I tried a lot. Any type of help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
SumirThis issue (and solution) is described in ML Doc 577905.1 (Error While Connecting To Database Via Workflow Builder)

Error while running Enterprise Manager 11gR1 after installation
Dear All,
I have just installed Oracle 11gR1 on centOS 5 operating system. During installation I checked the option to create sample schema. During installation the installer displayed some error message regarding Enterprise Manager and told that you can run the script manually after installation is complete with the script location i.e /<oracle_home>/bin/emca
After installtion i have run the script BUT now when i try to start dbconsole it fails.
When i run emctl status agent it says agent is not running.

Since last two weeks I am unable to update my applications installed in iPad with iOS 6. Also no new app is getting installed. Installation icon appears but after some time error message "unable to connect iTunes " appears. Can some one guide me to solve this problem please?
I've had similar problems. Whenever I try and update apps on the iPhone, the app would apparently download ok, but then not install. This didn't happen with new apps - only ones I was updating.
I got around the issue by downloading the update in iTunes on my Mac, then deleting the app from the phone, then syncing. The problem with this method is that certain apps had saved settings which are lost when following this method.
However... I seem to have fixed the issue after 2 months of trying.
I followed the advice of this page:
http://www.iphoneatlas.com/2008/09/10/itunes-8-workaround-for-5002-unknown-error -when-trying-to-update-apps/
Then I repaired disk permissions and finally I completely erased and restored my iPhone BEFORE I synced it after the moving of the Mobile Applications folder.
It's all working perfectly now and made my life much easier (especially with Aurora Feint updates), so I hope that this method works for some others.
Good luck.
Dom
