N73 - Memory card disconnecting all the time

Didnt have this problem before. It started happening when I updated to new firmware week ago. When I use data on memory card (mp3 / excel / word / copy data / take pictures / just surf memory card) it disconects!
With message: "Removing memory card is not safe if you don't select "remove memory card"."
Sometimes it passes only few seconds from acessing memory card to disconnecting, sometimes I manage to use memory card even for 10 or more minutes, max is about 1hour or so.
Memory card is takeMS 1GB miniSD and it worked fine before firmware update. How can it be fixed?
Thank you!

Did you find a solution? I have the same problem and indeed just after the firmware update.

My 5s using ios8.1 cannont connect wifi very well.
It disconnect all the time when I am playing games, even I sit by my AP.
Ios8 wifi problem seems a big issue, but Apple just ignore user experience.

  • Usb3 drive disconnecting all the time at a usb 3 port on my macbook pro

i just bought the new macbook pro 13 inch and i was into some point tricked because the salesman from apple assured me that the laptop would be shipped with mountain lion and i could do the upgrade for free for maverick. so when i recieved the computer i found out that it actually came with maverick intalled and after talking to an apple customer support he said i could not go back to mountain lion. so most of my software are damaged according to the new system and it simply doesnt let me open many apps i just installed.
so now i have another bigger problem. everythime i connect a usb 3 HD into my new macbook, the HD gets disconnected. i used already 3 diferent drives and tried at least 3 diferent cables but the problem persists. Note that it never happenned with a usb2 port. is anyone having the same problem?
at this point i am pretty upset with the company alltogether. i had purchased at least 30 macs and i never had any sort of problems till now.

I just got a new IMAC and experienced the same issue with a RAID 10 array with 4 drives spontaneously disconnecting in the middle of a data transfer with the message "you should eject disk properly, etc. etc." message.
As many others I tried all the obvious solutions. Different cables, different drives, etc. Then I read something about radio wave interference from wireless keyboards. Well, I don't have wireless keyboards or mice (don't like them) but still, it stuck in the back of my mind.
I did find that a USB 2.0 cable with noise suppression dongles at each end worked just fine, if a bit slowly. Anyway, I found an old set of ferrite couplings that were made for video cables back in the day and placed one set at each end of the USB 3 cable. I then moved my RAID array as far from the computer as possible and plugged it all back in. The problem has not reoccurred even with the transfer of very large folders of files from a networked PC RAID.
Just a thought but it seems to have worked for me although the fact that this sort of thing is necessary does not speak well for Apple.

  • Why is all my memory getting used all the time?

    Hey
My mac is recently very slow. I have posted a tread about this: https://discussions.apple.com/message/23923203#23923203
I have now found out that my memory useage is very high. I do sometimes use 3.99 out of 4. Most of the time it is around 2,5-3. Also severeal processes is running multiply, is that supossed? Please help in any way!
    Nikolaj

The memory usage you are seeing is normal on Mavericks.  It uses memory differnlty than previous operating systems.  I feel bad that no one reponsded to your Nov 26 posting.  Here are some pointers on how to speedup a Mac, some of which you have already attempted. 4 GB of memory should work well on Mavericks.  It does on my 4 GB Mac.
    I'll respond to that thread.

Hi.....Iam having prbs in redeeming the gift cards in iPod touch....my account is without credit card.....is this the prb???and wht to do pls help thanks

Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer.  As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you.  I'm sure you'll pay, however.
Let this be a very important lesson learned.
    Best.

  • My ipod says disconnect all; the time now i have updated and restored it

I just opened itunes & connected my ipod. I restored my ipod because i deleted the songs from my ipod and updated it but they didnt come of so i used iupod updater and now it just say "do not disconnect" but it is not showing "do not disconnect" in itunes, but it is on my ipod. This is my second ipod and the same happened last time. can someone please help?. Thanks

If you automatically update your ipod, here's what to do, connect your ipod and WAIT untill itunes knows it's there, then go to edit, preferences, then go to ipod, then if you auto update it, make sure that the box that says "enable disk use" is unchecked. Then click ok. If you manually update, slect auto-update without the "enable disk use" selected.

  • Ichat disconnects all the time

    Hey all,
I'm experiencing a problem with ichat. Whenever i sit idel for 5-10 mintues ichat discconects on me. is there anyway i can have a steady connection on ichat?!

    HI Projkt:
Could you tell us a little about your set-up? Are you wireless? Is your Mac going to sleep when it disconnects? Are you behind a router, if so, what's the model/make?
If you are wireless and your Mac goes to sleep, you will loose your AIM connection, the only way to resolve that issue is don't let your mac go to sleep.

  • HT4628 Wi-Fi disconnects all the time

It is very annoying.  I have Mac Air.  My infrastructure is WPA2 Enterprise using Cisco equipment.  This works fine for my Windows PC and Android devices.  But Apple products lose connection every 5 minutes, it seems.  How do I fix this?

  • FTP disconnects all the time

    Hi
Why does BC server connection disconnects so often? in DW and now using Espresso, BC connection will disconnect every few minutes. Really annoying.
Anything I can change in the FTP setup?
    Thanks
    Micha

    Yes,
open the Windows Command Prompt and type ping -t yoursite.com (this should be your site url, without the www or http://)
You can open the command prompt by pressing the Windows key, then typing cmd.exe (if you're using Vista or Windows 7).
After entering ping -t fuxcan.businesscatalyst.com and pressing CTRL+C I got this:
Average ping 147ms and 0% packet loss.
    Best regards,
    Iulian Radu.

  • I phone disconnecting all the time

My i phone seems to disconnect right after I answer the phone. This happens with new numbers mostly or numbers that are not in my phone book.  This is a pain as I am using this phone for business and then my customers get irritated by delayed response.

Get a bumper for your iPhone to ensure you are holding it correctly. I'll leave a link for them at the bottom of this post.
AT&T is also notorious for having terrible cellphone quality and frequent call drops, if you are on AT&T.

  • Does GeForce 7350LE video card fan run all the time or at certain temperatures?

I have a HP Pavilion m8147c  Media Center with AMD Atlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ 2.80 GHz  3GB Ram and when running lately the monitor has started to go into sleep mode or something.Sometimes there is a warning that says something like no signal from DVI and one more but doesn't stay on long enough to read it all.I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit.I had just installed a new game but pretty sure that has nothing to do with it as I used System Restore and backed up to a time before it was installed. At first it was only when playing games but now it happens with hardly anything running. This pc was bought in july 2007 and I have another desktop but I let my wife use one and I use the other.I opened the case and cleaned out all the dust but noticed when I started it up again the fan is not running on the video card.I don't know if it comes on at certain temps or runs all the time but I feel this is the problem. It has been on for about an hour and not come on at all.Any information will be appreciated.

captna wrote: Thanks Hanspuppa for the help you've given.I have two more questions. Why do I need the NVIDEA drivers when I will be installing a GIGABYTE card, and the Memory Interface on both cards is 64 bit,how does that affect a 32 bit Vista operating system?Just curious as I have never had any dealings with a video/graphics card before and I would think that it should be a 32 bit but since the GeForce 7350LE is also 64 bit it obviously works..I really appreciate the links and I am ordering the card now, thanks again you.For some reason I am not getting email notices when you reply but I am checking back every so often to see.
Hello captna, Usually when you purchase a new video card or other hardware device, the drivers that are included on the CD are an older version, sometimes as much as six months old. The chipset on any Brand of a given model would be either an Nvidia or an AMD ATI.
The chipset is the main component of the video card that controls most of the operations of the video card.
Since all the manufacturers of the Nvidia video cards use the chipset purchased from Nvidia, they are all the same chipset for any particular model. The different manufacturers can and do add or enable features for their particular cards, but the chipset is still the same.
Since the drivers from the manufacturer would be an older version, and Nvidia releases new versions quite often, it would be best to use the Nvidia drivers, since they would have updated fixes and sometimes features, and added support for some newer cards.
Your reference to the Memory Interface on both cards is 64 bit, has nothing to do with your version of the operating system. It just relates to the way, and speed of the interaction of the video card with the system (buss).
The higher the number of the Memory Interface, the more data that can be moved in and out of the video card, which results in a faster video performance. This just becomes important when playing games for the most part.
Using the system just for web surfing, emailing and some light gaming, would not have that much effect on the system.
More important to the system would be the amount of video card onboard memory. The Gigabyte has 1 GB of onboard memory compared to your original video card with 128 MBs of memory. This additional memory would likely show a slight performance increase in any light gaming.
You want see much, if any difference in the performance of your system, with the exception of perhaps the light gaming performance increase, with the new Gigabyte video card over the  GeForce 7350LE. You should not  experience the heat related issue as you had with the faulty fan on the  GeForce 7350LE.
You can go into your personal settings on the Forum and select to not receive the email notices when someone responds to one of your post. Several years ago while on the Dell Community Forum, I would receive over a hundred emails every day until I disabled this feature.
