N73 not detect the MP3 format
Hello there
I have a Nokia N73, i update the software via my laptop, now when try to tranfer some song to phone (mp3) there is msg will showing this format is not recognished, rest of features like msg/photos/contact details/ i can access but i cannot transfer mp3 songs please help

You really have to mess with the resoluton, espescially the refresh rate, as it varies from projector to projector, monitor to monitor. Even within the same brand! Because so many manufacturers are trying so many different things to become the next cool kid on the block, and the way the formats are being configured that's now part of the game.
That's why so many professionally produced corporate shows hire a dedicated projectionist for the video presentations. Too many bugs in the honey.
Refresh & sesolution are the first things to look at.
Just so you know that colors in PowerPoint PC, and PowerPoint Mac, don't exactly match... go figure.
I forgot to mention another thing, sometimes it's the projector that needs to be tweaked. -

Yes, of course it is legal.
To convert the format, follow one of these documents:
iTunes 11 for Windows: Save a copy of a song in a new file format
iTunes 11 for Mac: Save a copy of a song in a new file format
Also note that you have the option of buying your files in MP3 format in the first place, from Amazon MP3 or other online retailers. MP3 files will work in iTunes as well as virtually every other player, program, and device. -
I have discovered a bug in iTunes. I usually don't have a problem listening to audiobooks on my iPod Classic 160 in the MP3 format. When I push pause and use the iPod in some other way and then come back to the audiobook, it resumes where I left off (as it should). Unfortunately when I sync the iPod using iTunes, the bookmarks on the MP3 audiobooks are eliminated and I have to start from the beginning again. I started to record the hours:min:seconds before I sync but I have trouble remembering to do it. I have found that audiobooks in the M4B format don't loose the bookmarks after syncing so I have since converted all my MP3 audiobooks to M4B. This tends to be a rather cumbersome process as I have to use the option for "Create AAC version" to create an M4A file and then manually rename it as M4B and then use the "Locate" function in iTunes to reconnect the file to iTunes. Be aware that I have always had the option checked for "Remember Playback Position" for all my audiobooks. I also had this option checked for the MP3 audiobooks before I converted them to M4B.
Does anyone have a better way of handling this problem?
Note that I consider AAC to be a superior audio codec to MP3 but audiobooks don't need to have as good a sound quality as music.Basically, you can't get it into the Audiobook section. The only things that will go in that section are Audible books that you buy through the iTunes store.
BUT, you can add the audiobook to your iTunes library, select all the files, right-click and choose Get Info, go to the Info tab, and choose Yes for Remember Playback Position, and Skip When Shuffling.
That way it will remember where you left off when you come back to it, and it won't choose those files when you have it on Shuffle.
There is a program called Markable that will convert your files to audiobook format so that they will appear in the Audiobook section, but it costs money, and I don't really recommend it, since this method is much easier, and it accomplishes the same things. It's more hassle than it's worth.

my macbook pro is early 2011, 13", running lion.
the philips monitor is vga only, so i have a mini display port to vga adaptor and connecting it to the vga.
the screen on my mbp does turn blue, but no input is detected on the external monitor.
any advice?If it does not detect the display automatically, try going to system preferences>displays, click detect displays.

On a windows 7, i finally got the Iphone4 setup so i can copy my pictures off of the phone. Know itunes will not detect the iphone to get it synced. how do i get it back to be seen by Itunes?

Since you've shown us the folder contents it's a good bet it isn't in use (no lock file). And it doesn't look like the file is mis-named as there doesn't seem to be anything else there that would be the .indd file (but just in case, open it in TextEdit and paste the first few lines here so we can see what the file header says), so the most likely case is the file is damaged. Is that on a removable device of some sort?

It worked one second, I saved and closed the file, then tried to reopen and now it won't work. I am using Adobe InDesign CS5. It is the only version on my comp. I have tried opening on another comp & copying the file – same error comes up. PLEASE HELP
First check the version of the document with Jongware's script "Identify.jsx" (ExtendScript/JavaScript).

If it is CS 5.5 or above, you need someone to open it in the version the script says and export an IDML representation from that. Another way would be to install a 30days version of CS6 or above (CC) and do it yourself.
In regards of the script showing a result for InDesign files higher than CS6:
CS7 = CC v9
CS8 = CC v10 = CC-2014 or CC2014.1

The other time I have seen it is to open an Indesign CC document with Indesign 2014 which does not have Mindsuite - a plugin I use. Mindsuite, as yet, has not upgrade the plugin for Indesign 2014 therefore it recognises that a the document was created withe a plugin that the 2014 version does not have installed.
I believe your problem will be something like that. -

issues with version 2 would be automatically incorporated in
Captivate 3.
To my knowledge, your situation is one I've not seen or heard
of in Captivate 3. So I suspect possibly a mix of hardware that we
haven't seen before.
I would highly suggest you report this to Adobe as a
potential bug. Please provide them as much detail as you can. You
do this using the Wish Form.

What am I doing wrong? "Employment Events (Current)"."Most Recent Hire Date" is set to max - aggregation in the rpd.I found the solution as well.
The ODBC driver on the Windows server was old (Version 6). I upgraded that to SQL Server Native Client 11.0 and everything works fine. -
I recently bought iPad 3 but iTunes on my Win XP laptop is not detecting the iPad and i am not able to transfer music to it. I tried again after downloading iTunes 10.6.1.7 and it said it's not compatible with the XP version.
