N73 Setting Wizard Bug

i have the latest version of the software version (4.) on the N73 vanilla one.........
have just notice that there is a bug in the Setting Wizard software when i choose Operator it will detect the operator then it will close down without creat the Access Point that's odd one but if i choose to Cinfigure E.mails in the Setting Wizard it will creat the Access Point but it doesn't have the the old list it has just the gmail i guess and other............. does anybody have the same poroblem too.

the moment I installed new firmware in that process it already gave me all the required Settings for my SAUDI ARABIA mobile operator, mobily. And I deleted those settings and tried getting them from the Settings Wizard.. just closes without creating

N82: issue with sett. wizard

Hi All,
I'm using a black N82 with the latest FW (V20.0.062) and whenever I try to open the Sett. wizard the phone is freezing (only the wallpaper is displayed). Only a restart (by removing the battery) recovers the phone. I tried also a reset to the factory settings but the problem remains...
Anyone knows a solution to this problem?

I've never installed additional applications on my phone.
The following 'items' have gone 'into' the phone since purchase:
1. Mp3 songs.
2. Contacts via the sim directory.
3. a Powerpoint presentation via data transfer mode (nearly a month ago, but my issues with the phone surfaced a week ago....so no problem with the ppt i guess)
4. camera pics, MS outlook calender, to-do and Text messages routinely syncd between my phone and laptop.
5. Bluetooth transfer out of my phone to another phone for a transfer of pics taken.
Again many weeks ago not followed by adverse effects...

If so, where can i find the contacts stored in my computer and in what format?
For instance, the photos and text msgs - synced - are stored in Lifeblog folder under my documents folder and can be easily accessed via the LifeBlo application both on the phone and the computer/laptop.
PS: I also managed to update the software today, with the help of Nokia Software updater app on my laptop.
Keeping this all in mind:
I reckon, the m-card and perhaps phone memory are affected. Maybe the camera application as well.
If this is proved, i think, then i m-card format and hard reset is the way forward.

Nokia setting wizard version 2.6.6

Dear expert of software kindly advice me to solve my problem.In my handset nokia 6630 there is setting wizard version 2.6.6 by the setting wizard i can configure email and service provider settings of wap/internet and MMS.Im from Bangladesh there is only service provider name has been star marked in the wizard but now there are 5 service provider in Bangladesh and as par instruction of help page, when i try to change service provider name i failed cause the name remain unchanged.I need to configure other provider settings by the wizard.Please help me with your expert advice.Regards,peter

I installed version 3.6.36 but the problem still occurs. I have narrowed it down though. It happens when it synchronizes the Gallery, It says "Adding 64 files to the Gallery". After it stalls for a few moments it crashes.
I have now removed the folders that where monitored under the Galery in Nokia Suite and I hope this will solve the problem.

Configure Email from Setting Wizard

Nice to ask anymore. I love using email message from Nokia. There is Setting wizard on Nokia 6730 classic to configure email. I still remember the first time I configure Yahoo! Mail from Setting wizard, the name of incoming mail server, there was 'premium' word.... (I forgot), not 'imap.mail.yahoo.com'. With this setting, seems it receive message on time and directly. But, I'd ever reset my Nokia, I set Yahoo! Mail again from Setting wizard, it gave me uncomplete setting. I should fill myself on incoming mail server and outgoing mail server. Every time I sent there is 'accept untrusted certificate anyway?' sentence. There are 3 choices: Accept this time only, Accept permanently and Certificate detail. This setting (accept untrusted certificate) works fine for sending and receiving.
Why my Nokia doesn't want configure email like the first time I configure it (there was 'premium.nokia' word if 'm not mistake on incoming mail server)? The first time setting didn't ask accept untrusted certificate when I sent email.

With that setting when I sent an email message via email feature on my Nokia, it didn't say 'website sent untrusted certificate. Accept anyway'? Because of I'd ever reset my Nokia, of course my Yahoo! Mail setting was deleted. I set it (create new mailbox) again through Setting wizard, choose Yahoo!, fill username and password. But, the result was different and it didn't give the email setting completely, the incoming mail server and outgoing mail server are empty, so I should fill them myself. When I send an email, it always say, 'website send untrusted certificate. Accept anyway'? But, my Yahoo! Mail mailbox that I set for the first time through Setting wizard menu didn't say, 'website send untrusted certificate. Accept anyway'? Seems the first mailbox setting on Yahoo! was better.
If I create new mailbox email for Yahoo! Mail from Setting wizard, it gives me, say A type setting, it should be give me A type setting too (not B type setting) if I'd ever deleted existing Yahoo! Mail mailbox. I just would like to know whether it because of my Nokia 6730 classic system like this or something else.

EJB WIzard Bugs

There seem to be several bugs in the EJB wizard:
1. If I change various fields to not be primary keys, sometimes this does not affect the generated PK class consistently (I have seen a couple of cases where the old or older versions of the constructor are present with fields that used to be primary keys still there).
2. When I change method names, the "Create Sample Java Client" still uses the old names (or the field names, same thing) for accessors instead of the new method names.
3. When using the "Create CMP from table" -- why does it ignore data types? Why not ask what are the primary keys?
Finally, the documentation on running using the internal OC4j OAS should tell users to start the server first by doing a run on the ejb object before trying to run the generated test program (or any other client).

We read it before, in that "French" case, but no luck to us
Out regional setting is Spanish, nothing works better if we use English
And why embedded OC4J doesn't create tables for entities in EJB3? It does if we use EJB2.1, but those wizards doesn't works

1.3 not respecting the aspect ratio set: new bug?

I import a lot of scanned images, crop and straighten them and set a new aspect.
I work with: Pentium 4, Windows, 1200x1600 monitor (portrait).
I noticed with 1.3 what never happened to me with 1.2, as follows:
a. select an image in Develop
b. select crop overlay
c. select 2:3 aspect
d. straigthen the image (as example, by 1,00)
e. drag one of the corners, reducing the image size
f. the dragged corner 'jumps' a little and the gets reduced, visually showing a different aspect. Check the cropped dimensions and realise that the aspect is really not anymore 2:3. But 2:3 is shown selected!
What I do to counteract this, is selecting again 2:3 aspect, then the aspect is corrected, but the corners change how I did not intend.
I finally move the corners again and I crop as I will with the 2:3 aspect unchanged.
Does this happen to anyone else?
I consider this a quite annoying bug, am I right?

I appreciate a lot, that you tried to reproduce the behaviour of Lightroom 1.3 on my PC, which runs Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2.
Well, it looks it happens just to me...
Anyway, if an Adobe technician reads that, here is what I see, mentioning a specific case:
- tiff imported image
size 7598x5082
- go to Develop page
- select Crop overlay
it shows locked aspect ratio
it shows Aspect: Original
- select Aspect: 2x3
size becomes 7598x5065 (I read that, moving the mouse over the thumb in the bottom panel)
- rotate the image by entering 1 in Straighten
the size becomes 7430x4953
- drag one (anyone) corner reducing the image size
while dragging, the dragged corner visibly 'jumps' increasing the reduction
- as example, the size is then 7350x4717 (not any more 2x3)
but it always shows Aspect: 2x3 !!!
The consequence of this behaviour is that after every rotating and resizing the set aspect ratio gets lost, even if otherwise stated by the shown aspect value.
I am then obliged to apply the Aspect: 2x3 again, which works, but which changes the position of the corners, therefore forcing me to set them again as I liked.
Perhaps what I wrote might be useful for Adobe people to correct this in a next version.

N73 - SMS Editor Bug

Hi!
I have a N73 ME with Firmware Version 3.0638.0.0.30 (It looks like Nokia wont ever release a newer Firmware for my Product Code 0544952).
When i write a SMS and press 3x "0" to get an line break the phone brings me right back to the standby screen - but only if i confirm the line break by pressing the joystick to the right.
"0", "0", "0", "joystick right"
When i confirm the line break by pressing pushing the joystick to the left everything is fine.
Can anyone confirm this? Is this still the case with newer Versions?

Working around a cs3[4?] Symbol Set Staining bug

The problem will show if you stain some but not all of the symbols in a set, then apply at least one further Symbolism tool, then later want to change the original symbol.
You'll find that the stained symbols won't update to the changes in the original symbol, though the unstained ones will, regardless of how many other Symbolism transitions have been made to them.
The workaround is to touch the stained symbols with any of the symbolism tools, then do an Undo to remove any effect. Now edit the base Symbol, make no modifications, and return. Your stained symbols will now update to the base symbol appearance (shape change for example).
You'll have to do this each time, after you've stained some symbols.
The fascinating thing is that if you remove all staining (Alt/Option staining tool and strokes), the previously stained symbols will revert to proper behaviour, now obeying underlying symbol edits.
It would be great if Adobe is still fixing CS3 bugs, and would fix this. Does it show up in Illustrator CS4?

I've got a better sequence to demonstrate this bug, and a nicer work-around, after talking with someone helpful this morning.
1. Create a symbol - for example 'sunglass' lenses, or as I named them, 'varilens'. This is a path shape for the front of sunglasses, with a gradient across the lenses to get a cartoon realism look.
2. Spray the symbols. Just produce a Symbol Set normally.
3. At this point you can use any of the Symbolism tools except Stainer, and everything seems to work properly.
4. Double-click the 'varilens' in the Symbol window, and edit its shape. When you return from the Isolated 'group' for editing, you'll see that all the 'sunglasses' in the Symbol Set have the new shape, as they should.
5. Now, stain a few of the 'sunglasses' -- not all of them. For example, use a red color, against an original blue basis of the gradient.
6. Now, double-click 'varilens' in the Symbol window again, and edit it to a fresh shape. When you return from the Isolated editing 'group', you'll find all the original blue sunglasses have the new symbol shape. But the reddish Stained sunglasses do not. They've kept the previous shape. This is the bug.
7. To work around the bug, I've found an even simpler way now. Just double-click 'varilens' once more, in the Symbol window, and immediately exit the Isolated editing 'group'. The Stained symbols will now 'catch up' to having the new shape, this second time.

Wizard bug - conditional validation

We require validation on a wizard to prevent the user from navigating from a particular page to the next page unless they have checked a checkbox. The underlying column is not mandatory because the user may not have to visit this particular page depending on the answers he gave on previous pages.
The only place we have found to put the validation is the "nextActionListener" of the singleStepButtonBar. However, there seems to be a bug in the generator because we cannot override the WizardPageContent template at the ItemRegion level. We only want the validation to fire if the user is in this particular page, so modifying the template at the Group level is not appropriate. As a result we have to make a post-generation change. Can anyone suggest another way of achieving this?

Sorry to be still bugging you about this but I'm still having problems getting it working OK. The first problem was that the error message was being added to the page 4 times (presumably one for each step). I see in the checkFocusRowIndex method of the WizardProcessModel does a check to see if the page has changed so figured I may have to do something similar. As a work around I check the FacesContext to see if any error messages have been added already and don't add it again. That much worked but I now have the problem that the error message is being displayed on the second wizard page as well. Here is my getNextAction()

Chart Wizard Bugs

1. If I set ONE of the chart series data label to "none" or
"value" sometimes it affects ALL chart series. It seems like it's
an all or nothing deal.
2. In the advanced mode in Query Builder, there is an option
to set the "variable containing query object". This does not work.
I have tried to set this several times and clicked Save, only to go
back and its reset back to "CFReportDataQuery".
3. Under the Lines and Markers tab in the chart wizard, there
is an option to set the maximum Y axis value. Setting this has no
effect. The chart still does what it wants.
I find *very little* support for the chart wizard. I know
this is a new thing and I'm hoping in the next update these issues
will be fixed. But in the mean time, has anyone else found a way
around this besides creating the chart manually?

Answer:In the properties of the chart you have a list of "Series" option, you can set the Series 1 or Series 2 as Hidden.Hence u can achieve to show only one key figure.
2) What is the meaning in the chart wizard (Step 2) of "Select a Data Source". Then I can count up or down - what's the sense?

Trying to create a view link based on a many-to-many association where the destination entity is also the destination in another association.
After selecting the association on the Source Attributes step, the Destination Attributes step does not automatically reflect the selected association. I have to explicitly select the association again. Now, on the View Link SQL step, the query does not include the Intersection Entity object, just a direct join between the source and destination entity objects.
When there is no ambigutiy on the Destination Attributes step, i.e. there is only one association to select (the one that was selected on the Source Attributes tab), the Link SQL step correctly reflects the Intersection Entity object in the Query Clause preview.
Is this a bug in version 9.0.2.8.2 (BC4J 9.0.2.7.99)
Also, are there BC4J patches that will be delivered separately from a new version of JDeveloper?

Indicators "goods receipt" "invoice expected" are not set! Bug or feature?

we are using SRM 5.0 classic scenario.
A freetext shopping cart without vendor assignment creates a PR in the backend (4.6C). In this PR the indicators for "goods receipt" and invoice expected" are not set. Is this ab bug or a feature.
In former realeases these indicators are set automatically for the document flow.
What do I have to do to set the indicators automatically in SRM 5.0.

in classic scenario those flags are set according to the account assignment type and the settings in backend transaction OME9. On the one hand these settings can be overruled by BADI(s), on the other hand this behavior has also been noticed due to a malfunction which was corrected with note 1175255
(pls also take into account the corrections for the backend!).
I hope this is a first approach for solving the issue.

This seems to be caused by a missing import in that class.
Try adding this line on top of the file (next to the other import
statements) and see if it solves the problem:
import mx.utils.ObjectProxy;
This should be fixed in the next release, but if you can file
a bug and attach the wsdl file so we can reproduce the bug and
confirm it does not happen anymore it would be very helpful.

URGENT:Report Wizard Bug or incomplete feature ?

3.0.7.6.2 NT/SP6, 8.1.6.2 Aix
I am at a loss to explain this bug, 'cause it is so stupid (excuse my language). Valid Report package, report worked well, with good performance i.e no problems. Made a change to the query (removed one join) and saved the report. Now, my template has reset to the defualt report template, the buttons on the parameter form have disappeared. Also, when I click on edit report link, the report wizard changes the name to the current date. I don't have the faintest idea why this happened. No error messages, nothing.
I retrieved the previous version, checked the html code added in the adv. formatting. Still nothing.
Any tips (apart from if it aint broke, don't fix it) ?

it is in 3.0.7.6.2, SQL Report.It happens intemittently, which is why it is difficult to analyze the problem. Some other factors could be a large number of versions of the componenent, large blocks of pl/sql code and length of sql query is long (but below the limit for the textarea). However, I don't see why this would prevent the show_params from executing correctly. Will a null value for a bind variable name cause this behaviour ?
