What should i do while updateing my mobile to newer version to get these languages?

hi shiva009900,
Sad that ur product code didnt have that update, i agree the fact that it takes ages in india to update ur mobile after a firmware is released by Nokia this update 4.0812.42.2.1 was released by Nokia on may 2008 which i could update to it only October 2008, i e-mailed Nokia regarding this geez i even got a call from one of them just for the sake that i e-mailed and they didnt even allow me to talk about this issue in the conversation instead they asked the feedback what a Joke?? isn't
i do want to say that there is another update available for N73 which is 4.089**.4.2.1 which is not available for my product code i am waiting for that one
Only thing we can do is wait wait wait wait!  till Nokia releases Firmware atleast by mistake for Product codes in certain countries
cheers..........

  • Help with N73 update

    Hello everybody.
I have a problem updating my N73. My current software version is 2.0628.0.0.3 27-07-2006 - which I know is pretty old but when I
try to update with my software updater it tells me that there are no update versions for my phone.
Also when i search for updates on the Nokia site by entering my phone model code it says that there aren't any available updates.
What can I do to finally update my phone? Is my software non-updateable? The model's code is 0539296.
I would really appreciate some help on this. Thanks in advance!

There is no update for your phone!
You have to look at the number after Nokia N73 (xx.xx)
    It is standig here:
    V20628.0.0.1
    10-7-2006
    RM-133
Nokia N73 and then the number.
If you have Nokia N73 (xx) you can update to version 3
If you have Nokia N73 (xx.xx) you have a Benelux version and you have to wait for another next update. Check it every month!

    Hi 93tid,
Microsoft officially mentions this phone on its website, few other websites also mentioned it when its launched officially like FirstPost.com. On microsoft.com it mentions this phone as India's affordable 4G phone (please see attached image). So its hard to believe that its not officially launched in india.

  • N79 Firmware update in India

I purchase N79 recently. I saw on this forum that v30 is the latest available. However when I try to update my v11, NSU says no update available. Why is that so ?
I was searching for the update by entering the product code at
    http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/device-software-update/can-i-upda...
And it also says the samething, i.e. v11 is latest
Any idea when the updates are supposed to be available in India.
    Thanks
    Sawan

HUH!!! V3.0? Are you sure? V2.0 just came out now you talking about V30? Some people haven't had the 2.0 yet. I don't see how V30 be out, that's weird. Anyways if you can put some pictures on or tell us what are the new stuff in the new FW. Thanks
Hold on now, you sure your not talking about Nokia 5800? Because that's the one with the firmware V31...

  • N73 - update problem

I have my N73 for two and a half years now, it never has been updated for newest version of software's now, when I wanted to, I was unable. the version of my device is V 4.0736.3.2.1 and the latest version is V 4.0839.42.0.1. the problem is, when I attach my device to USB, and connect it, I run nokia software updater, follow the on screen prompts and at the end it says: "your device already has the latest supported software. no update needed." what is the problem, I don't get it?

From beeing a N73, I kinda knew it was out of warranty, but that does not change the fact that we are not allowed to discuss such actions here. These are the official discussion boards of Nokia, so unfortunately it does not matter whether it's still under warranty or not as the action it self is warranty voiding
If you want to totally reset it, you could try to diall *#7370#. However, your device is a S OS 9,1 so I'm not sure if your device actually has these hard/soft reset features. If it won't respond to it, it won't respond.
If it works, it is supposed to wipe your phone memory, so you will have to back up what you need first.

  • BlackBerry 10.3.2 update in india

When 10.3.2 update will available in India. Why it's getting delayed. It's been a month the update released but still I didn't get the update.

"Safe"...hmmm...difficult for anyone but you to judge for yourself. Depending on the source of the AutoLoader coupled with your research to use truly released OS levels and not "leaks", then my answer is yes...I use them all the time. You can find instructions and available downloads here:http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-OS-Device-Software/Upgrading-OS10-devices-using-Autoloader/td-p/2466747#nobannerhttp://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-leaked-beta-os-f395/bb10-os-archive-943672/Good luck!

the help suggest on this site (see link below) to correct the problem only works for xp and not vista. until a resolution is found, you'll need to use xp for updates.

  • N73 update firmware

    hi all,
i just want to find out any firmware update for my n73.
My phone details are given below. pls reply me
    V3.0638.0.0.1 / 30-10-2006 / RM-133 /
    Nokia N73(08) / code: 0529785

You could, but you really want to think about it if you actually want to.
Internet Edition is only available in APAC (Asian Pacific) meaning you only get asian/chinese/english language. You would also have to modify your product code (which voids your warranty) and if something goes wrong during updating you're really screwed (won't be covered by warranty) unless you can flash 'back' which can be done but is risky.
Also if the update DOES work but you're not happy with the new firmware (read about issues when updating to ME/Internet editions with some people) you can't easily flash it back. Same as above, it IS possible but not easy.
Basically, unless you're very comfortable with the flashing of phones and screwing up your phone is not THAT big an issue to you I would stay away from it...

  • Arabic Language N73 update

Hi There Just i want to know when i update My N73
it Support Arabic Or Not ???
    My V 2.0628.0.0.1
    10-07-2006
    RM-133
    Nokia N73 ( 08 )
    code / 0527009
    FCC ID / QFXRM-133
    IC / 661Z-RM133
    Tell Me Plz ..!!!

Normally, phones are provided with languages for the country or region where it was intended to be sold, but sometimes the retail trade moves phones about before they are sold to the public, so it is possible that you have a phone that was not intended for an Arabic country.
A Nokia service point may be able to add the arabic language pack.

  • N73 Update - Reply from Nokia Head Office

Please find below the reply I got from Nokia after sending an email to the Chief Executive. It remains to be seen if anything changes.
"With regard to your recent email to Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, I would like to apologize for our delayed response to your E-mails send to us on 11.11 and 20.11. We recently have had technical problems with our UK E-mail support system which have now been resolved. Due to this problem, your mail sent on 11.11 did not reach our support specialists. According to our Nokia helpline team you should have on 22.11. received two email responses from them already. However, I also wanted to personally follow-up the issues you raised in your email.
Thank you for providing us constructive and valuable feedback regarding our customer support and Nokia Software update service in the web. We apologize the confusion created on our communication about N73 software updates. We have gone through in detail the information shared in Nokia web support pages, both in NSU and in discussion forum and recognized that there is room for improving and clarifying the software update related communication and will be implementing a number of communication improvement steps during next weeks.
Concerning software updates for N73, there are actually several N73 software versions existing for different operator networks. We are continuously releasing more and more N73 software versions to Nokia Software Updater (NSU). Unfortunately, the version for your network was not available during the time you tried to update your N73 and the response you received from NSU was not sufficiently explaining this. We are working to improve the visibility to the different available software versions, both within NSU application and through our discussion board.
You can check again today if your N73 software version is now available from the system. In case it's not yet in NSU you can check again in few days to see if it's available then. Alternatively can contact your nearest Nokia Authorized Service Point where a Nokia engineer will be able to confirm the latest version of the software for your device and give you an free-of-charge software update if needed. Your nearest Nokia Authorized Service Point is as follows:
    Name: Intercity Mobile Communications
    Tel: 01216437373
Should you choose to wait for new SW for your N73 to be available NSU you can also email me your product code number (found from N73 type label located under the battery) and current SW version number (found by typing *#0000# at main menu page) so that we can notify you over email once new software becomes available.
Please don't hesitate to contact us again if you have any further questions."

For the record, I don't think I am able to upgrade to the current software version.
My phone model is 05411312 (N73 on UK T-Mobile), and NSU won't let me update beyond v. 3.0704.1.0.1
I really want to be able to upgrade, I'm quite annoyed that I can't add all of the amazing new features that Nokia announced for S60 phones a month ago because of this - I want to try the official MSN client, Music Store, etc. I wouldn't have bothered trying to upgrade the software if it wasn't for trying to add these features.
