Is this an app bbbc?  IF it is I would contact the app developer and see if they can resolve the issue for you.
also take a look at the reviews and see if other users are having the same issue and see if they have a resolution.

  • Setup iCal server accessible to the LAN via web browser

    Hello guys,
I am newbie in mac server and I believe there are lots of guys over there that could help me.
    Here's my environment:
    Software/Server: Mac OS X Server 10.6
Hardware: Mac Mini Server Snow Leopard
    LAN/internet Setup:
Broadband -> router -> mac mini server
    -> mac users
    -> pc users
    Now, here's my scenario:
The mac mini is already running (OS is already installed) and act a normal computer usage like internet browsing, doing some documents and so on and so forth. But now, we decided to make the mac mini server as a server(calendar (iCal) server, address book server, web-server). I'm not so much familiar with DNS, DHCP or networking things to make the client computers connected to server.
My main concern is that I want the calendar to be accessible via web browser in our local network (something like this -> http://calendar.company/ or can access via IP address of the server like.. http://192.168.1.20/), in this case Mac and PC users connected to our LAN(router) can able to access and share their our calendar.
    Now questions are:
    1. How can I setup the mac mini server and calendar server to be accessible via web browser to the mac and pc users?
    2. Do I still need to setup DNS and public IP for my server?
    3. Where can I get a step by step tutorials that I could follow?
All recommendations and comments are all appreciated
    Thanks in advance,
    Emmman

I can't find any clear and step by step instructions with my concern. I am not expecting this to be easy(can setup even non-IT) as apple advertise but as I am reading the documentations I notice these things to be properly setup:
    1. Functional DNS system. - This is a high level networking Stuff(Non-IT can't even understand it).
    2. IP addresses, reverse IP's etc - Non-IT can't even understand it
    3. Router Configurations - Non-IT can't even understand it.
and so on and so forth.
We, the newbie on mac server just need a clear and step by step scenario on how to setup the whole thing.
    Thank you.

  • Does OATS support firefox 4 & manually install OATS plugin of web browser

I need to test automation on firefox4, but I couldn't find the OATS plugin on firefox 4 after I installed OATS.Does it support firefox4?
BTW, is there any way to install OATS plugin of web browser manually, so far, I need to uninstall and reinstall OATS to have the plugin installed on different versions of web browser, e.g. IE7/8/9 firefos3/4.
    Thanks a lot!

In the OpenScript folder, c:\OracleATS\OpenScript by default, there is an InstallBrowserHelpers.bat that tries to install the browser add-ons. I haven't tried it with Firefox 4, maybe just give it a shot?

  • Copying Events in iCal via Web Browser

How do you copy an event on iCloud (via web browser) from one day to another.
For instance, I have some recurring events that get added to my calendar, but they are not in a predictable schedule (so I can't use the recurring controls).
Do I have to add those in manually every time?  Is there an upcoming release that will allow copying of events to another time/date on the calendar using a web browser?

I too would like to know how to do this (copy an event on the iCloud calendar).
Google Calendar provides a nice copy/duplicate feature.  Why can't Apple provide the same functionality?

  • Running jave apps in web browser

    Hi,
I'm (very obviously) new to java.
Longer term I'm looking to develop a distributed application using java. I recently saw a java app that ran in a clients web browser. I assumed that the browser was using java applets, it wasn't. The web page I was looking at clearly had functionality on it that was well beyond that which could be produced by an html page.
I was told by the person showing me the web page that when the user hit the URL the system would download and install "jar" files if they weren't already installed and the application would run.
The page had on it a table (datagrid) which could be sorted by clicking on any of the table headings.
Being new to java I'm unsure what this technology is, if it is not an applet, and how it works. Is anyone out there able to give me a brief high level description of what particular part of the java technology this is (does it require J2SE or J2EE).
    Many thanks...

    1) The "grid" is a JTable component, which is available in applets, providing the plug-in/JRE is of a more recent (1.2+) vintage.
    2) Applets are not HTML - they're little Java programs, which means they can use Swing, which is a much richer UI environment than any HTML page (including DHTML). See #1
    3) Applets are embedded in HTML pages, so they kinda look like they're part of the page, just like using a TABLE tag.
    4) Current JRE/plug-ins cache the applet JAR files, so it's easier to start next time you run across that page.
    5) Web Start is another distribution option, wherein the JRE/plug-in is used to retrieve and update "fat" (stand-alone) applications via a web site, but the browser is not required to run the application. The only time the browser is involved is on the initial download of the application.
    6) J2SE downloads include Web Start.
Methinks you'd be better off studying and understanding the Java technologies better before you decide you're going to use it...

  • WRT 1900AC no longer manageable via web browser?

I suspect this is an artifact of recent security upgrades in MSIE and Firefox, or Norton Internet Security, but I have not figured it out yet.  Here are the symptoms:
1).  I have a stable home network environment which I normally do not change.
2).  I use Comcast as my ISP and they provide Norton Internet Security which habitually complains about a "certificate" issue when I try to access my router via a web browser (I have MSIE 11 x64, Firefox, and Chrome...
    3)   I can log into the router locally using the password I have assigned to it sometimes...
    4)   No matter what I try, the Speed Test page no longer loads completely.  I can use an Android version of the same software via the router, but I want the stats directly from the connection between the Cable Modem and the Router, not a wireless based approximantion of the performance numbers.
Has there been a BIOS upgrade to my router that did not self-install?  I registered everything and can log into Linksys suppor no problems., but right now, none of my browsers will even let me log into the Linksys web page at 192.168.1.1./...the way they used to.
Obviously, some of this could be a trainsient issue with the Speed Test web site, and/or the Linksys web pages but...Is there any help out there?

What version of FF are you using?
Try IE with compatibility mode to test again?
Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch using IE or FF?
To safely update FW, I recommend doing the following: Download the FW file from the support site first.
Disable the auto update feature on the router.
    1. Save router config to file first using IE or FF with all security add-ons disabled.
    2. Factory reset the router with all other devices disconnected or turned OFF accept for 1 wired PC.

    3. Reload or Update the FW using IE or FF. Just download the FW file to your local wired LAN PC.

    4. Factory reset the router and then set up from scratch first using the local log in link and test with out loading the saved config from file. Check to see if any problems are fixed before loading the saved config from file. Sometimes you need to set up from scratch with out loading the saved config file. Just safer that way.

  • Calendar entry times entered via web browser change to 2 hours later on my Iphone

Why do the event times entered via my web browser into iCalendar change to 2 hours later when viewed on my iPhone?
The settings for date, time and time zone are correct on my Windows 8 laptop and on my iPhone.

    Some things to check:
Go to icloud.com, sign into your iCloud account, click your name at the top and choose Account Settings, click Time Zone and be sure it shows the correct time zone and that you have selected a city near you.  Then open your calendar on icloud.com, click the gear-shaped icon on the bottom left and choose Preferences, click the Advanced tab and make sure you have not checked time zone support at the top.
On your iOS devices, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Time Zone Support (in the Calendars section) and make sure this is set to Off.  On your Mac, open the Calendar app and to to Mail>Preferences>Advances and uncheck “Turn on time zone support”.

  • I am unable to upload files via web browser

    Good morning
I have just upgraded to Mavericks (10.9.5), and I am running into a weird issue. I am unable to upload any files via the web browser. If I go to a website, and select an Upload File option, I am taken to Finder, where I am able to select the file, and press attach. The issue comes when I press upload on the website. It always either times out, or gives me an error that I was disconnected from the server. This happens on Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. I'm not sure what to do... I've repaired disk permissions and tried a lot of different security settings, but I am stumped.
    Thank you

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

  • Viewing iCal via Web Browser Without phpical or iwebcal?

I am neither adept nor savvy in the command line or installing things through the terminal, therefore, if anyone knows a idiot-proof way to view iCals in a web browser off of an in-house WebDAV server, I'm all ears.

My last comment on this is.
I'm using the gmail calendar, and have a program called "Spanning Sync"
    to synchronize them.
If .mac could provide me with a working Calendar functionality, I would
have bought it. But now I'm content with using gmail instead.
Of course .mac has other functionality, but I only need email and calendar,
sync:ed and accessible from work, home-mac and mobile.
I think eventually, Apple will realize that their Calendar solution can be
    improved and do this.

  • Can't install/update Apps via App Store * ios 8.1 iPhone 5s

    Hi,
since the ios update 8.1 i can't install or update apps via App Store. I can't even download free apps or do the free updates for installed apps. Have tried to soft reset my phone, tried to outlog and log in again in the app store, turned wlan off and on and tried to download without wlan. Nothing works.
I got an 1 year old iPhone 5s with the new ios 8.1. Never got any problems with the phone before, since this update!
Thanks for your help and greetings,
    Falcon2k10

If i click for example on the update button in app store, there is just this ''downloading circle'' and shows loading.. and loading.. and loading and just nothing happens. Also the sympol of the updating app gets grey and there stands ''waiting''.
If i try to download an App, there is the same on the install/download button and there shows up a grey symbol of the app and nothing else happens.
No error message or something else. Just shows that it ''loads'' and nothing happens.

  • E66 - Error code 300 while installing an app via O...

    Hey,
I've got Ovi Suite 3.1.1.75 and I'm trying to install MapMyTracks app (http://www.mapmytracks.com/download/) on E66. I installed a signed version, but somehow it was seen on the phone as an unsigned one. So I removed it and tried to install it directly via the phone (http://www.mapmytracks.com/install) but I got an error ("Installaton failed" or something like that). So I tried to install it again via Ovi Suite, but now Im getting error code 300.
    Any idea what's wrong?

Ok, so there's now actually 3 people that have taken the trouble to report the error 300 issue to this forum. How many more are out there that do not report this? (and buy samsung the next time) C'mon Nokia, show you really care! I still can't use my phone on the internet...

  • Loading jfx app into web browser with preloader (improving load time)

    hi,
has anyone made any attempt to construct kind of application preloader, waiting for whole app to load can take long time and default spinning wheel with java cup is not really user friendly.
I was thinking about breaking app in two parts
    1)login view
2)rest of the app that will be loaded lazily
but then how to load second jar, what about updates of that second jar. Is there any way to talk to javascript in browser to show something nicer then default applet's preloadder.????
maybe there is a better idea on how to improve loading time of jfx app embedded in web browser, my experience is based on 1.1 version of jfx so now it can be better.
apart from jfx component im planing to use spring ioc and jdbc driver. so it should show something as quick as possible (confirm certificate and show login view) and then (or in the meantime) load rest of the stuff.
    any thoughts appreciated
    thanks

Have you read the last post of (the prolific ;-) ) Rakesh Menon ;-)
