N78 Visual Radio problem - stops for 5 secs then r...
Good evening,
My Nokia N78 is showing some strange behavior lately.
When I listen to Visual Radio after about 2-3 mins of playback the sound completely stops for about 5 seconds then it starts again.
Any idea about what is causing this problem? Is it software or hardware related?

I have concluded that AppleTV has some proprietary air interface/DNS issues. But I have found two fixes.
1. Deploy an Apple Airport (Express) Access Point (AP) and use that it to connect both the the ATV and your IOS device. Whatever proprietary protocol WiFi issues exist with AppleTV, they are fixed when you use an Apple AP.
2. Hardwire the AppleTV using its Ethernet port. (Preferably use a fixed IP address vs DHCP). If the ATV is too far from your router to connect via a cable try using a D-Link (DHP-302) HPNA unit that uses the house electrical wiring create an ethernet LAN. (about $70). If you have Bell Canada's brilliant wireless Fibe TV service then your are in luck. There is an ethernet port at the back of each (Motorlola 2502) Set Top Box. Plug in your ATV and all will be fine.(hats off to CC)

Trouble Digitizing - video stops for a sec then starts again
Hello - I am having a problem digitizing from miniDV. I am using Final Cut Pro HD 4.5
When I am digitizing footage, the video will stop while the audio continues and then the video will pick back up again. The digitized footage reflects this problem also.
I have tried switching firewire cables and switching miniDV cameras that I use to import the footage. It seems to happen no matter what I try. Any idea???
Thanks.If you have upgraded to 10.4.9, there is a glitch with that OS and FCP4.5
The problem has to do with Spotlight trying to index the capture scratch folder during capture and causing issues. The solution is to hide the capture scratch from searchlight.
Do a quick search here for "10.4.9 4.5 Spotlight" and more specific directions should be available.

when I open igoogle or any other website, a mini blank page (about a third of the full screen) appears for a sec then the full page complete with info appears. The blank page displays only mozilla firefox, the next full size shows the complete web site, e.g. google, yahoo, hotmail, etc. The lap top does not do this only the desk computer. This has only started recently. We did up grade our dsl speed but they ATT has assured us that the problem rests with the browser.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

My Mac g5 starts and goes to finder. The desktop has disappeared. Also the circle keeps spinning. It will stop for a minute, then start again. It acts like something is running. I have restarted multiple times. Can anyone help please? Thank you.

My ipod touch 5th generation went into recovery mode when I tried to update ios. When I try to recover it just keeps looping back to recovery mode. I tried to hold the power button for 3 secs. then simultaneously hold the home button for 10 secs. then hold only power button for 20 secs. I tried this several times to no avail. This is my daughter's ipod. I am computer illiterate and I'm not sure what else to try.

If not you're into using file recovery software like File Salvage - you can download a free trial and it will scan the disk for you and tell you with might be recoverable. Actual recovery will require that you purchase the app. There may be many files with the same or similar names. Always recover the largest file size.

Lagging - Music plays for 5 sec., then stop for 10 sec.???
I bought the AE last week and it worked fine for 2 days, then on a morning, for no particular reason. It started to lag heavily. music will play for 2-5 seconds then stops for another 2-5 second, then play again for 2-5 sec.
I tried everything from restarting AE, upgrade Frameware to 6.2 then downgraded to 6.1, upgraded to itune 5 today, nothing works... it is the very same problem.
I am using a Dlink "B" only wireless router, does it make a different? and why did the AE work for 2 days then started this heavy lagging.

BrianI too have been experiencing the exact same issues. Mine has ran perfectly now for months however. From a terminal prompt if you cd /var/log and look at the system.log file you may find the airport link going down the up again (which would certainly account for lags/outages). The link down and up messages are what I am seeing. Often changing the channel will help as interference from other networks/devices can cause the issue as well. My problem began last Saturday, and continued even after I upgraded the firmware to 6.2. As of right now it is running fine again. A friend mentioned that there was a larger than normal amount of Solar activity that was wreaking havoc with some cell phone coverage recently. It would be interesting if these issues go away in the next week or so. Thoughts?

My iphone4 will not connect to my network. My iPad and my wife's iPad and iphone4 all connect to my network. I have tried the solutions in Apple trouble shooting site. I even tried the freezer option. Still no connection.The "wheel" turns for 2 secOne then stops without connecting. Anyine have a solution to this issue?
I have an AT&T contracted iphone 5. Cannot send mms to anyone but other iPhone users. If you search the Internet, you'll see that the problem is everywhere...both the carriers and Apple are actling like the problem belongs to the other, or feigning any knowledge (which is kind of funny since the no MMS thing was in an ios6 beta that was released awhile ago, so I KNOW apple knows about it). No, I'm not running a beta (obviously, I just got my iphone 5). Awesome. Have a great camera on this thing, but cannot send OR receive MMS from anyone other than other iphone users. Gotta love it.

loaded Elements 12 (PC), 2 months ago both organizer and editor fully functional. Got message today free trial ran out and i needed to buy it.
Reloaded from DVD, organizer works but editor will not loadTwo suggestions: the first one is a workaround. You just have to drill down your program file tree to Adobe Photoshop Elements Organizer and find the .exe file - the one specifically for Organizer, not Elements. Make a shortcut to that file on your desktop and it will open Organizer. The second suggestion resolved the problem altogether for me. I actually called Dell and after working with several different techs over several different days, I talked to a tech in premium support who was excellent. I discovered from them that it is actually a problem with the windows system files. I have 8.1. I went through a "refresh" on my computer which rebuilt all the files. Then reinstalled Adobe as well as my other programs again and Photoshop Elements Organizer works from the standard desktop shortcut.

I deleted all my contact trying to sync with I tunes. I am Resstored the contacts from back up. It apears for 30 second then it goes blank abain. can some one guide me on how to save it, also how can I sync my contact to I tunes without deleting the data on my phone
Similar issue -- this is the third time in as many months that I've had to restore my iPad. It's a iPad Mini w/ 32GB (ME277LL/A), running the latest iOS8.1.2. The "other" data starts off about 1GB and will bob around that. I was careful about games this time, seeing only a slight rise in the data. Once it started to rise, I deleted all of the game and the data on Game Center. No joy -- the data stays about the same.
Then I noticed it was really climbing -- shooting up to about 10GB and sitting there, no matter what I did: sync it: nothing. Deleting music (on the off chance it was album art or some such: nothing. Deleted all the books in iBooks: no effect -- still 10GB. Cleared the iCloud storage, cleared caches repeatedly: nothing. Reset everything: no effect. Only Restoring the iPad -- which takes forever and is a gigantic pain in the @$$ -- gets it down. This is exactly the same thing that happened the other two times -- I lose about 10GB to "other."
I now suspect, thinking on what I was doing with the device, that pulling movies from iTunes seems to be the culprit. Deleting the movies might take the movie "off the iPad", but there seems to be a corresponding jump in Other. My guess is there's some glitch dumping the information elsewhere.
It makes a 32GB iPad pretty frickin' close to useless in a remarkable amount of time. I've not had this issue until this iPad (bought last summer) with the iOS8 upgrade. I don't see this happen on the iPhone 5S with the same OS...that's why I dialed down to iTunes (when is it not smack in the middle of issues?) and Video as the culprit; I don't watch movies on the phone.
I've noticed a massive amount of posts in support and around the web on this matter...it might be time for Apple to shift it and do something about the matter. If I'm going to be restricted to surfing the web, email, and little else thanks to the Other issue, it really doesn't make sense to stick with this device. I can doo all that on my laptop, can't it? -
Has anyone had this problem? With earbuds connected the ipod keeps turning itself off. I then have to turn it on and it will play for another 60 sec and shut off.

Audio output on tv stops for 1 sec every 6-12 seconds, how to fix this?
IMac (end 2010) is connected to Sony TV via HDMI. All worked perfect for some time! Now Video is still perfect, but audio operates with a 1 second stop every 6 to 12 seconds. Very irritating. Called Apple and they told me to install the MacOSXUpdCombo10-1.6.8. It did not improve. Has anybody a solution? Thanks!
How does the sqlldr command in script prospect_load.cmd looks like - especially the command line parameters? If a parameter file is instead used, please post its contents.
Confirm that the error dump is from the sqlldr executable and not from the alert log or trace file for the Oracle session that serviced that sqlldr session.
The KGHALO2 error means that a memory allocation was done and there was a size issue failure (size request could not be satisfied). If this was thrown by sqlldr, then it could mean that insufficient platform memory was available for allocating the buffers required. Also could perhaps mean a bug. But this is all speculation as you'll need to dig deeper with analysing the error.
