N79 1 button has multiple inputs?

Hey folks, I have an N79. Best phone I've owned in a while now. It's a bit old I guess (bought at launch) and it's showing. Not only on the outside but also on the inside with things going slower, guess it's normal.
I do however have one annoying issue that I'd like to fix. Sometimes (not always) when I press a button it recognizes multiple inputs at the same time. Right now for example I press "0" but the screen displays "02". I press "7" I get "702". And the most annoying, I press "6" I get "6702". Of course one can see a pattern into this but it's only these buttons and I have no idea at all what's causing it. I've tried searching for this but can't find anything (or I'm searching for the wrong words). Would a firmware update fix things? (I hate doing these because I bricked 2 electronic devices before when doing this)

Forgive me for mentioning something that might be obvious to you, but if you were to reinstall the operating system and the keyboard still suffered these anomalies, then you'd have your answer. I know that it's time-consuming, and requires a back-up computer (to copy as much of your data as you can access from both the phone memory and the memory card), but a phone with a misbehaving keyboard is practically useless. You might feel it's worth it if you want to hold on to your n79 for a while.
Here's the procedure:

...you might want to do a (full,complete) hard reset.
For this you have to-
1. Switch off the phone.
2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (the call answer button), * button, and '3' button.
3. While holding these buttons, hold the power button to switch on the phone.
4. Release the buttons when the phone shows the nokia hands logo or shows other signs of life like the language selection screen.

Logic Pro X - Cannot see multiple input options

Hello,
I've been using other DAWs(DP and Studio One 2) but I decided to try Logic Pro X and purchased it yesterday.
I'm using a firewire audio interface which has multiple input options. For example, Ch1 and Ch2 are for mic inputs, ch3 and ch4 are for my external sound module (Yamaha Motif Rack), etc.
I tried to play and record the sound module on Logic, I first added "New External Midi Track". Then, I added "New Audio Track" to record the sound of sound module, like I do on other DAWs. I tried to select the ch 3-4 as an input for the audio track, however I could only see the input ch1-2 as an option for the track.
The audio interface's driver is installed correctly. In fact, I can use the input ch 3-4 with no problem on other DAWs.
Since I'm new to Logic Pro, I might have overlooked how to assign / setup the inputs.
Can anybody let me know how I can activate input ch3-4 on Logic Pro X?

Yeah, after I wrote the post, I found out that this happened because "built-in input" was chosen as a default input source on "Preferences -> Audio". That's why it only showed ch1-2. Now I chose my audio interface as the default input and I could see other channels.
That's good, however this brought up a new question, if I want to use multiple input options such as two audio interfaces or combination of built-in input and an audio interface, is it possible to do so?

Multiple Input ports - Single Form

I have a RFC which has multiple input ports. How do i use a single form to provide data to all the input ports.

Hi,
you can create the single form direct, if you pull a line out of the RFC, then the form must be created with the fields. If not, then you have to create it manually and map the fields with the input port.

How to submit data from multiple Input Ports in single SUBMIT button click

Hi,
I am in SPS8.
What exactly steps I need to perform to submit data from multiple Input Ports.
I couldn't able to submit One input Form and one Input Table to BAPI data service in single SUBMIT button click.
I debugged the VC application in SPS8.
While debugging, I found that when I click the SUBMIT button in the Input Form, Only data in that Input
form are being passed to the BAPI, But not the Table Form data.
If I click on the SUBMIT button in another Input Table, Only data from that table is being passed to the BAPI, but not the Input form data.
Essentially I need to submit both of them in one SUBMIT button.

From the word document that you sent to me the steps you are missing to map the appropriate information into the BAPI is first you are not mapping all data rows into the table input port. To do this double click on the input table view and change your selection mode from single to multiple. Then when you click on your link between the BAPI and your input table you will see a new option appears under data mapping "Mapping Scope" select All Data Rows.
That's the first part of the problem to get the BAPI to recognize both the inputs coming from the form and the table eliminate the submit button from the form. Drag and drop a link from the output port of the table view to the Input port of the BAPI. Double click on the link between the BAPI and the table view and open the expressions editor for the two fields:
1/ Automatic Source
2/ SKIP_ITEMS_WITH_ERROR
On the hierarchical folder structure on the right expand expand the Data Fields node to find the fields from the form and map them accordingly.
Now when you hit the submit button on your table it should pass the BAPI all the parameters from both the form and the table.

I already had that done IE. I had duet already chosen as input and output etc etc.
The problem seemed to be the issue that was addressed by Eriksimon:
(( ctrl-click the track Header.))
Following that advice gave me a drop down menu which allowed the various buttons to be
checked and unchecked.

How to create popup window with radio buttons and a input field

Can somebody give some directions to create a stand alone program to create a window popup with 2 radio button and an input field for getting text value. I need to update the text value in a custom table.
I will call this stand alone program from an user exit.

Hi,
There are multiple aspects of your requirements. So let's take them one at a time.
You can achieve it in the report program or you can use a combination of the both along.
You can create a standalone report program using the ABAP Editor (SE38). In the report program you can call the SAP Module pool program by CALL Screen <screen number>. And then in the module pool program you an create a subscreen and can handle the window popup with 2 radio button and an input field for getting the text.
For help - Module Pool programs you can search in ABAP Editor with DEMODYNPRO* and you will ge the entire demo code for all dialog related code.
For Report and other Module pool help you can have a look at the following:

How can I have multiple inputs into the selector terminal of a case structure

Hi everyone
I have a question on how to wire multiple inputs in to the selector terminal of a case structure.
Currently, I have three switches, each switch determines different case. So if I switch the switch 1 is on, the numeric indicator will show 1. If the switch 2 is on, the numeric indicator will show 2, so on and so forth. However, the selector terminal will not allow me to wire multiply inputs into the case structure, I tried Bundle by Name, Bundle and Array to Cluster, but they did not work. I set the case structure with 3 cases, they are 1, 2 and 3.
Could someone help me please. I have attach an image and the VI of the work I did so far.
I have another question, is there a function which can toggle other switches to off when there is a switch has been toggled on.

Tommy, attached find a cheeseball way of doing this that has given me a LOT of mileage over the years. IT lends itself nicely to a couple of really good practices that NI recommend, but I have given you the bare-bones to "see under the hood".
The recommended practices:
1. You can make this a nice tight sub-vi where you can put it into a core library of routines that you'll use over the years, even extending the logic to look only for changes, etc.
2. If you are thinking about Front Panel design considerations, you'll want to use arrays of controls where possible, as that's a nice neat way of containerizing your switch for both the FP and Block Diagram.
Have fun. I have TONS of these types of things, so feel free to PM me if you have any other needs.

How do I create an xControl with multiple inputs and outputs?

i am trying to write a new Xcontrol Element. In the data model I can create data types using the cluster to create compound types, eg an int and an int array. But how do I create an xcontrol which has multiple data inputs and outputs?

How to edit the properties for existing variables in BEX query, so that I can get multiple input selections

Dear fellow developers,
I'm trying to edit an existing variable using BEX query, so that it can allow multiple input selections.
As you can see in the screenshot attached, the option is selectable during creation.
However, during editing of an existing field, this field (Details -> Basic Settings -> Variable Represents) is not selectable.
Does anyone knows why, and how to remedy this?

Yes you can do it at the table level.
Go to SE11 enter table name as RSZGLOBV.
Enter the technical name of variable in VNAM field..You need to change the value in VPARSEL column.
Please make sure to get the where used list of this variable so that you can know the impact,if something goes wrong.
Also change it in DEV and then transport across the landscape.

Multiple Input Multiple Output Fuzzy Logic Controller

I am designing an autotuning PID temperature control system whose PID gains are adjusted using a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Fuzzy Controller. I am unsure how to set up specific inputs and how to use specific outputs when there are multiple inputs and outputs. Specifically, my Fuzzy system has two inputs and three outputs.
For the input, I have two 1D arrays of scalars (doubles) which I have used to build an array and concatanated the inputs to the array. How do I configure which values of this array are used as each specific input value to the fuzzy system?
Similarly, for the output, the fuzzy system gives three output values which are used as the PID gains. How do I configure these such that they are in the right order to be used as the PID Gains of the PID VI?

You can find some examples by navigating to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW XXXX\examples\control\fuzzy
Some of them are at least MISO systems and might be helpful to clarify some ideas. You can also find them using the Example Finder from LabVIEW (By going to help on the top menu, and then Find Examples). There you can go to the search tab on the left and type in fuzzy.

'A' button has stopped working?

Hey guys, the 'a' button has mysteriously stopped working on my keyboard which is a real hindrance. In case it was a software issue I tried to restore factory settings, but I have to enter the word 'blackberry' to do so, and I obviously can't type that!
Any ideas?

It sounds like what I have seen multiple times on a device with moisture damage.
Even sitting on a bathroom counter during a hot steamy shower or bath can cause keyboard and trackball problems UNTIL properly dried out. It really is more common than you think.
1. Remove the battery immediately!! Do not attempt to turn on your BlackBerry.
2. Let the device dry in a warm, dry place for 3 to 5 days* (see below)
3. DO NOT "check it each day" by placing the battery in. Leave it be to dry completely. This takes time. Replacing the battery to check it can only damage it more (moisture + electrical current = disaster).
4. If the device is warm after the drying period, allow it to cool to room temperature before placing the battery back in.
Suggestions on drying your BlackBerry in a warm place (open, with the battery out):
*Place the BB in a container of dry UNcooked rice, and then you might also place it in any of the locations mentioned below.
*On top of any dry heat emitting electronic component: TV cabinet or CRT, LCD, cable TV/Satellite converter box or plasma monitor
*On the dashboard of your car on a sunny day

Common GO button for multiple prompts created in OBIEE Dashboard

to hide multi-go-button in prompts and it works for IE 7 and firefox 2.0* with 10.3.4.1.
Now since 10.1.3.4.1 is certified with firefox 3.0* ,when i use this same script in firefox 3.0* for my prompts it doesn’t work .
Any idea why ? Please help me with this,as i want to use this hide go button feature in firefox 3.0* too.
Are these scripts browser to browser incompatible ? If yes from where can i get the script for firefox 3.0* ?

Multiple input form

I am building an application that will use a scanner as an input device. I am trying to build some kind of form where a user scans in multiple inputs and when he or she is done the database gets updated with the inputs.
anybody has a suggestion?

what do you mean, with "generated the text fields automatically"? That text fields are shown depending on the insert of a text field before?
I would do it this way, but I don't know if it is best solution and works proper, because I never tried something like this.
Create all textfields, and set the HTML Table Cell Attributes to onblur="text1(myValue);" for Text1, onblur="text2(myValue);" for text2 etc..
Then I would write javacode, which first hide all text fields except text1 and then the functions for showing the text fields depending on the inserted value. On the last text field you can call an "Process on demand" for updating / inserting to the database.
If your user has no keyboard, I think there's a barcode for 'tabulator' which should call the onblur event, but that's the point where I'm not sure.
