N79 Freeze often for no reason

Hello All,
       I am using N79 for past one month. From the day one I am facing lots of problem with it. Previously I was using 6630. Which was much better in performance that N79.
       My phone gets frozen often for no particular reasons. Mostly I noticed while trying to use WLAN (Both secured and non secured). Photo applications and some while accessing the contacts to make calls.
      Only way to recover of this issue to remove the battery and restart the phone. No other way........
It really hurts me to do so..... I have hardly used this when I was using 6630.....
On average atleast I am facing this problem 2days once.
My firmware is up today. (11.049)

I take a part that you bought this phone I have it too. Nokia has forgot their old users and they don't have any solutions for you to freezing problems or allmost any your problem with your phone. The N79's firmware is very buggy and slow to use and many have found that too

ps. I realy don't know why or where Nokia failed their stragedy (example flahship phone N96 took like a year to be like it sholud be(they released last week after looooong time new firmware to N96)). Doing this kind a **bleep** lose customers faith to Nokia.

I have had my ibook G4 for less than a year, and just recently it has been freezing/crashing for no apparent reason. Sometimes 5 minutes after being booted up, sometimes AS it boots up, sometimes seconds after it boots up. I receive the standard "You must restart your computer by holding down the power key....." message in 4 differently languages.
I realize this is a very vague question, but what the **** is going on? I haven't downloaded any strange software or encountered any virus' or anything like that. Any info you could provide as to what I can/should do would be helpful as my warranty runs out the end of this month.

It could be a startup item causing the problem. You can try starting in Safe Mode. If it will run normally in Safe Mode chances are that's the problem. If not, follow Dr. Smokes troubleshooting guide.

MacBook Freezes Up For No Reason

I bought a macbook on August 26th (a few months ago) and had it upgraded to 4gb RAM and 500gb hard drive. It ran very fast and smooth for about two months, but now it freezes up all the time. Every time I open up Internet explorer or iTunes, or just about anything it freezes up for about a minute, and then sometimes when I am in the middle of using the internet or typing a paper it freezes up again. I still have over 400gb of hard drive left, and don't have anything but music and a few games on my laptop. What can I do to make it work better?
All of my friends have macbooks that they say still work awesome after years, but at this point I am not impressed. There is also a part plastic underneath my keyboard where the hands rest when typing that just broke off one day when I was typing. So what can I do to make it work better?

You tried verifying the hard disk after booting from the install DVD correct?
Invalid Node Structure is probably causing the problem and it's not a good error to deal with as it means the drive's directory structure is corrupt.
I've only seen it once here and I ended up purchasing disk warrior to correct the problem.
There was a fix for disk "stalls" posted on Apple's downloads page, don't know if it pertains to your situation.

The drive structure needs to be repaired before installing.. or the disk reformatted and a clean install done.
If your system was affected by the disk stall it's possible the directory structure was damaged at that time, no way of knowing though.

IOS8 Mobile Safari freeze/crashing for no reason

In Safari is crashing/freezing on some occasions but there is no way to debug how. I have control over the sites source, it first looked as if it was because of a form.. Later it looked like a 'click event' now even without any events bound (but a Javascript generated ul/li list) seem to crash Safari on both iPad Retina and iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 (tested) in iOS8. Even the simulator freezes up. iOS7 does not have the problems.
Anyone who knows exactly why Safari freezes (specific selector? specific css class?) PLEASE INFORM.
Or even better if Apple just fixed the issue...

You need to update Safari to 5.1
Click your Apple menu (top left in your screen) then click Software Update.
If you have problems using the updater, download and install from here > Safari 5.1
Other apps like iPhoto, iMovie, Garageband, etc are also crashing.
Startup disk may need repairing:
From the admin account launch Disk Utility. /Applications/Utilities
Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If the startup disk needs repairing, follow the instructions for Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks

N97 Mini Restarts often for no reason

Hi, I had bought a N97 Mini and soon found it crashing while using different apps or while typing a message. There is no definite patterns for these crashes though. I then got replaced the phone with another piece and surprisingly found the same issue with the new device.
I am now in FIX. What do i do?? i tried calling up the customer care and they updated that there is new firmware for the same nor is this a know issue with thN97 mini.
Can anyone please help on this??? I am anyhow going to get this replaced by a new piece of N97 mini but not sure if its a hardware or a software issue.

It's always advisable to do a hard reset when doing a software update and to only backup your contacts, calendar and notes. A full backup and restore could re-install conflict between the new software and the old. It's a bit of a pain, but should provide a much better result !
Dial *#7370# followed by 12345, the phone will shutdown and revert to 'out of the box' condition, then install/re-install the latest software, and set up your phone manually and install whatever apps you want (on E mass memory where ever possible) and you shpuld find the phone will run much better !

hello, this "browser settings change" dialog is usually part of adware/malware active on your pc. please go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and do a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].

Snare keeps going mute every so often for no reason..

so i have a recorded region of a kick and snare midi notes and lately in the session the snare will drop out yet there are still midi notes present in the piano that had not been manually muted or erased... can anyone tell me what this glithch may be? thanks

so to fix it sometimes i will quit logic and then re open the project and the snare will be heard again but it continues cutting out here and again. specifically just this snare midi that is clearly visible in the piano roll, not on mute or anything that could have changed it ...

IPhone 3GS Keeps freezing for no reason.

I bought a second-hand iPhone 3GS 16GB from Wicketgadget.com about... 6-7 months ago, the warranty has run out from that website and I doubt it's going to have the original apple warranty from it. I don't have AppleCare and I refuse to pay for support, that's stupid IMO.
Anyway, my problem is that my phone tends to just freeze up for no reason what-so-ever.. for example, I'll be doing something and it'll work fine, if I were to lock it and the screen went black like normal it'd be fine until I try to un-lock it 10 minutes later by pressing the home button or the lock button again and nothing will happen, infact I have to physically reset it by holding down those two buttons for at least 30 seconds or more before it responds. I then have to turn the phone off once it restarts and turn it back on again normally or else it continues to freeze no matter what I do.
I've tried fully restoring it,
I've tried updating it (it's running iOS 5.0.1),
I've tried everything I can think of.
It's had the digitizer and lcd replaced at least 3 times, including a new dock-charger incl. speaker set.
I'm currently on O2-UK,
The phone is running iOS 5.0.1,
My serial number is 880304GJ3NP

My Macbook Pro started freezing all the time & going to sleep on its own for no reason

I've been having trouble for a few weeks with my computer freezing way too often for seemingly no reason - I'm using it exactly the same way I always have with no problems, and even actively trying to have less applications open (which seems to have no effect). I can't always load simple webpages without it freezing and giving me the color wheel and it's just MUCH slower in general. It is seriously making it difficult to use my computer for work or for fun...
It has also started going to sleep on its own - the screen will just go black (or sometimes BLUE) and the keyboard lights turn off, and the only way to get it to wake back up is to close the computer, wait, open it again and click or press a key. It doesn't respond to any keys/clicks until it has been closed and reopened.
It seems to overheat really easily lately as well - but it does not always overheat when it freezes.
SMC reset did not seem to have an effect. Activity Monitor doesn't show anything crazy, everything is pretty much 0% except Firefox around 7-12% as I'm typing this. 246 GB available on my hard drive so that doesn't seem to be the problem either. Right after restarting my computer it seems better but the problems quickly resurface...
I googled for help before posting this and someone had suggested running the command

Eric - I dont understand how I'd use caffeinate. I am not running any code or particular script. My system goes to sleep if surfing the web, or running Word or Excel, etc.
Or.. Are you saying I should go through and type 'caffeinate X' for all of my applications?

Macbook pro freezes for no reason even after installing 10.8 on a brand new hard drive.
Tried to reset pram, smc, nvram.
Tried installing new RAM.
Tried installing new hard drive.
You should know that my internal drive is installed in a cheap external case and plugged in a USB 2.0 port because i am waiting for a new hard drive cable.all
Yep all good things happened to me...i don't know if all these problems are linked, ahh and also my trackpad is behaving very erraticaly sometimes, it's like it is possessed by a ghost. My computer is not under warranty anymore so i'd like to avoid a trip to the Apple store but i'm close to doing just that.
Any help appreciated...

It's diagnostic software. It's supposed to help you find problems. I don't think anyone is making any software yet that fixes hardware problems.

On older MacBook Pro's both the USB I/O ports and the keyboard/trackpad are fed out of an integrated USB controller integrated into the South Bridge I/O controller. On newer models, the USB ports come out of an integrated North/South bridge controller and the keyboard/trackpad are handled by an SMC controller, which itself interfaces with the I/O controller. All of these items are on the logic board, and they're all unrepairable.
...unless of course the "internal drive [that] is installed in a cheap external case" is itself causing the problems. Another thing to try might be a different USB port, if you haven't done so already.
I didn't know the price for Scannerz went up. I could have sworn I only paid 30-some bucks for it. Maybe it was on sale at the time. I don't remember.

Hello,
My iTunes freeze (hang) when any webradio stream drop out for any reason; e.g. when ISP renews the IP, the radio station has limited the stream duration (as some do) per connection or wireless is cut off e.g. by closing the lid of the MacBook.
I've to force Quit then iTunes. If I wait (up to an hour for testing) no hung or crash report get generated, iTunes still stay unresponsive.
System: MacBook Pro 2011
OS: OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard)
iTunes version: 10.4.1 (10)
iTunes 3rd Party add-on's: None
Any ideas out there?

I will commiserate. I have this same issue. In some cases, the stream will stop and restart after 15-30 seconds; repeat. In other cases, the stream will stop, and iTunes will switch to the last radio station in that playlist. Then that station will play for a few minutes, and stop, and sometimes restart. But usually iTunes will hang (spinning beach ball) and must be force-quit.

Hi, guys, I am just frastrated!
My imac g5 freeses very often for no particular reason and it takes ages for it to load when i restart it.
does anybody know what may cause it and what i should do to solve the problem?

I first suggest that you test using the Apple Hardware disc
that came with your iMac to see if it's hardware related.
If it is hardware related,
contact Apple
Like the first replier, you might need to repair permissions,
you could use the application Disk Utility to repair it while your
system is running.
OR you could start up using the system installer disc which
also has disc utility to repair permissions and repair disc.
repairing is fast and easy
I suggest doing this once a week or two to maintain permissions.
Another possibility is that your iMac could be under the Apple Repair Extension Program since you implied that your iMac is a G5.
If you suspect that you might be under the extension program, contact Apple.
