N8 Belle calender problem

I syn my contact with OVI and notice a large amount of data being transfered. Now I can't open my calender. Reason given was the memory was full and I need to close some application but there aren't any appliction running. I suspect the calender data had been corrupted and I have back up copy in my memory card. So I did a restore from my memory card but problem still exist. I suspect I might have to empty the phone calender data first before doing the restore. Any idea how to proceed? Thanks

I've got the same problem here. Tried OVI Sync, it didn't work, and now the phone keeps warning that memory is full, thoubh no application is running...

E7 Belle Calender Widget

Does anybody know if the new calender widget in Feature Pack 1 on other Belle devices will be released for the E7? The default, 1 line widget, is useless but the new one has 3 lines and you can scroll through appointments and days, making it much more useable.
I have heard Feature Pack 1 will not be released on older devices like the E7, but hopefully some aspects like this could be released through the Nokia Store or a minor software update. Another of the newer widgets which it would be good to see released is the Weather widgets.
If anybody knows anything, it would be good to hear it.

That is correct, feature pack 1 will not be made available for E7. In the future is may get software updates but as I said, it won't be feature pack 1. It is highly unlikely for aspects of Feature pack 1 to be released aswell.

E6 Calender problem

I use E6 for the past 3 months. Everything is fine except the calender. In the calender entries, for anniversaries, I use alarm to remind me the event. This alarm date does not get updated for the subsequent years. As a result, only for the first year, the alarm goes on, then subsequently no alarm. Recently, 2 days back, I updated my e6 to belle refresh also. Still this problem persists. Any one can help??

Presumably you have already tried taking a back up with Nokia Suite upon PC and then hard reset the phone. This will remove any unnecessary data created through usage of the device?
Connect your phone to Nokia Suite and go to Tools > Back up to make the backup, but make sure NOT to tick the Settings box.
Now disconnect the phone from Nokia Suite and enter *#7370# into your phone and default security code 12345, unless you've changed this code yourself.
Once the phone has rebooted, connect the phone to Nokia Suite once more and go to Tools > Restore to restore the back up.

Nokia N8 Belle Refresh Problem

i have upadated my nokia n8 on 28-aug-2012
after updating to refresh belle my n8 has start freezing it freeze when i use web or browsing to some other apps like OVI after freezing it does not work . the way to get it off is to restart the cell by pressing the button for 10 seconds
the cell phone works really well but when i starts browsing it freezez please help my phone is getting dumped day by day

N8 - Nokia Belle Update Problem.

So I Have This Strange Problem with my Nokia N8. Last night i was doing that Noka Belle update and every time it Problem Says ( The Device Isn't Connected ) So every time i have to remove the USB And Switch the phone on again and re-try but the same prmblem came out everytime so i was tring again but last time when it was making the same thing my brother removed the phone from the USB Cable and now It's Dead it doesn't switch on Or Charge So some one knows what i have to do ? Sry For bad english.

E7 Symbian Belle - MMS problems

I own an Nokia E7 with Symbian Belle installed.
The MMS are received very small 240x240... even when they are sent in larger formats.
The E7 resizes the MMS to that size.
I changed the MMS settings to free mode and large image, but the problem remains.
Does anyone has this problem?
And does anyone knows how to take care of it?

Well I can send photo's fine on my E7 running Belle, so would still suggest you contact your service provider to ensure you have the correct settings ! It's NOT a Belle issue

N8 belle USB problems

hey.. just updated my n8 to belle..
im having a really hard time whenever i connect my usb to the computer as mass storage or ovi suite..
whenever i connect my phone to the pc.. i can barely use my phone.. no apps or anything plus its very slow ( i dont remember having this kind of problem with the older versions).
then after i disconnect it.. my phone always freezes completely.. i have to do a hard reset everytime i connect it to the pc which is really annoying..
any1 else here having the same problem?

Something certainly not right here and strange that device hangs irrespective of whether in Nokia/Ovi Suite or mass storage mode(s) as you would stop the latter via taskbar before removing device.
Have you tried connecting your N8 as a Windows USB mass storage device to another PC just to confirm this behaviour?

E6 belle connectivity problem

Hi,
I've updated my E6 to Belle and have a strange problem with network connectivity. At some point of time (I can not determine when) all new applications I install (or install updates for the old ones) can not connect to the network ("connection failed connection unavailable"). "Old" applications are working normally, without any problems.
Any hints how to slove this?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums!
Have you tried removing and reinstalling the troublesome applications?
If the reinstallation does not solve the issue, hard reset your phone and reinstall all applications. Reseting will wipe all settings and data off the phone, so remember to back up your phone first with Nokia Suite.
Dial *#7370# to hard reset your phone, when prompted for the security code, default code is 12345.

E6 - belle update problems - WIFI

Hi Just updated my E6 to belle, I waited for update to be available in Slovenia. Now I have nice phone, not a smart phone. I did reset the phone several times.
Now I have problems:
1. connecting to WIFI, my phone finds my wifi network, I can connect to it, but soon the connection is lost and when I try to connect again - it finds the same network - market as unknown, (it does not remember the wepkey,....)
2. browsing the internet - problem because loosing connection to wifi network.
3. setting gmail only through wifi - I can set it up, when trying to download any mails, I get a notice- mobile connection is unavailable, but I cannot set it to connect via wifi - as I had it set with Anna.
4. connection settings for phone and apps - I have less settings, cannot set it as I could with Anna.

WEP...Old router?
Delete all settings and restart the phone. This may occur if you didnt upgraded the phone with a clean update.
Start wifi again on the phone and try again put the settings in the phone.
Gprs/3G settings should be solved by your sim card with the reset and/or by new settings from your operator sending you sms with new settings.
Software reset and reinstall Belle through Nokia suite if no solution is obtained.
I am extremely impressed with 3G/wlan connectivity on E6 and 701 btw.

Calender Problems

My calender is multiplying events, I'd like to delete it and reinstall. Is this possible or do you know another fix?

Talked to Apple Support in Germany today. They got the same problems which means it's a general software problem and nothing individual on my iPhone. The problem occurs only on iOS4 and 4.0.1, but not on the previous 3.x.x
The guys at the german support never heard of this bug before.
I checked my question as answered because it seems that the solution/answer to my question will only be an update from Apple.

Ipad mini calender problem

I am having problems with my calenders. March is 'missing' when I try and view month on month. It is there in the other views but the whole calender app just goes back to the home screen if I try and go forward from Feb or back from April.

Look for any all day event on APril 1 and remove it. Or make it span a few hours instead of all day. It's a glitch and removing the all day app will resolve it.

Factory/planning calender problem.

Scenario:
Plant 'A' have General, as well as shifts 1,2, and 3.
'General' shift has Sunday as weekly off. Also shifts 1,2,3 get Sunday as weekly off but in alternate week they get Saturday & Sunday as weekly off.

My understanding from your requirement is that you need to create the Factory Calander with Special rule where u need to include the Alternative Saturday as Off-days.
Let me explain you ,
U have to create(SCAL/OP03) a factory calender with 6 work days along with your Holiday calander .
Now, SAP Factory Calendar allows companies to key in their own factory work days. Individual SAP application such as MRP will take into consideration these individual factory customizing.
For alternate Saturday, you set Saturday as a normal working day and key in all the off-days in the Special rules button.
In your abap program, you can calculate whether a particular day is a non-working day, with reference to the Factory Calendar.

Nokia 1200 Calender problem

I got a 1200, i liked the multi entry phone book, and to my surprise i found out that there is also a Persian calender in options.
The problem is that name of the months in Persian calender are Hijri names, which is not true.

you can just take your phone to nokia care point center to fix your problem.

Time & Calender problem

I have been trying to fix the time on my iphone. Following these steps:
settings --> general --> date and time
But still there is a problem that my calender shows date of 1970 year.
I couldn't set it on 2014 year.
Please , need help. I want to change it from 1970 to 2014.

Check under Settings for Mail, Contacts, Calendars. There is an option called Time Zone Support. If it is turned on and you have defined a city, the calendar will show you the event dates and times in terms of the time zone of that city. If it is turned off, then the calendar will show you event dates and times in terms of your current location (network/iPad time).
Does that help? If I am understanding you correctly.... It sounds as though you might want to turn Time Zone Support off or define it to a city in Germany - is it set to a US West Coast city?
