N8 how to activate voice commands?

I can't find out which button to turn on voice commands in the instruction manual or online does anyone know how? On my 5230 I held down the green button and waited for the beep. I want to talk to it so I can enable Bluetooth and sync with OVI whilst the phone is in its case!

How to disable voice commands on a N82?

I have recently bought a Nokia N82. Since I started using the mp3 player, I have been dialing random people, and I realized it happens when I am wearing the provided headset (HS-43). The largest button on the headset remote activates voice commands.
The problem is that the headset remote is hanging where my arms are when I'm resting them on my stomach. This has caused quite a lot of random calls while I'm in a conversation (not wearing the earplugs ;-). Luckily I haven't said anything that could get me fired from my job, yet :-)
My question is; how do I *completely* disable voice commands?
(I would have assumed something trivial like "go to voice commands, settings, disable" - but I can't seem to find that option?!! :-(

its difficult to remember to remove the headset every time you remove it from the ear...

No option to activate Voice Navigation or Speech synthesis in Z3 !!

Hi,
I was trying to figure out how to activate voice navigation in Z3. Looks like there is no such option provided in Z3. Its really troubling with such high end smartphone, need to use touch everytime to ope music/sms/alarm clock dismiss/navigating apps.
On Utube, there is a video shows option under settings to Enable Voice feature under Swipe unlock security , which is not available in my phone. Kindly reply. Its annoying using Z3 without such a feature.

I had downloaded Google Now but it doesn't help as it uses Wifi. What i was looking for precisely an option like in Samsun Note/Galaxy s by which i can Switch off my reminders/alarms by voice when i am not connected to internet. I hv been using Samsun for almoast 5-6 years but gave up because of battery issue and first time using Sony Z3.
I have checked in Sony Z3 under reminders/alarm , no such option is available to stop reminders/alarm by voice command. Is that possible in Z3 ?

Can't hear Voice Command prompt over bluetooth headset

Hello,
I paired my Jawbone Prime headset with my new iPhone 3GS, and for the first day or so I was able to activate Voice Commands by pressing & holding the "Noise Assassin" button. First the headset would beep, then the Voice Command screen would come up on the iPhone, and when the the phone was ready, I'd hear the Voice Command prompt. Everything was great.
Then, suddenly one afternoon, the headset beeped an extra time, and I no longer hear the Voice Command prompts. I don't hear the initial prompt, or any further prompts such as "home or cell?" or the voice telling me what song is playing.
I have tried pairing/unpairing, resetting the phone and the headset, and every combination thereof.
Has anyone else encountered this or have any suggestions?

I wish I could say that was the problem, but it was not. I keep the phone in vibrate mode all the time, but I took it out to try and increase the volume for notification, but it was up all the way already. FYI - the bluetooth volume is all the way up too.
I sent a message to Motorola last night to see if they have a solution. They already upped it to the next level of support to resolve, so I am hoping to hear something from them soon.

How do i add songs to the playlist of music player which is there in mobile. There are 10 songs preloaded by nokia in mass memory but im not able to add them to the playlist in the music player. do i need to install other music player??
Is the mass storage that is E(16 gb) phone default memory?

no go to music player
click on a song
you will see option add to playlist
the option saved playlist or new playlist appears
select new playlist a box pops up with playlist in it
this is now where you can name your own playlist
now repeat steps ,click on a song aoptions add to playlist you can do multiple song at one go also
go all songs ,options then mark keep repeating to the songs you want and when finished add to playlist and your done

N95 Navigation works but no Voice commands

Hi there,
I dowloaded maps, bought subscription. GPS work well, finds its position in 1-2 minutes and navigation works. But I do not have any voice commands at ALL!!!!!
Can anyone suggest something? How to get voice commands during the navigation?

I can not remember step by step. But this is I think how I did it:
Coz I subscribed, I switched off "Network Connection" GPRS. And possibly other connections were OFF as well.
And when I was trying to choose "English" or any other languages it would not work coz it did not have voice files.
I then allowed all connections to work (including GPRS). Then I opened MAP applications and started navigation. And magic happened. The phone started downloading voice commands. And it works since.
What I think happend is that voice commands can be downloaded sort of atomaticaly, but only if you have GPRS "ON". After voices were dowloaded I switched OFF Network connection.

Disable it in System Preference > Accessibility > VoiceOver
Click VoiceOver in the side box and uncheck the box beside Enable VoiceOver.

Did you enable Siri in settings?
Settings > General > Siri > ON
If Siri is off, all you get when pressing the home button for 1 second is the old Voice Control.

Please follow the following simple step for any userexit to see where all its been called.
1. Go To T. Code SMOD
2. Enter the Exit name COOM0001
3. Click on the COMPONANTS RADIO BUTTON and DISPLAY
4. U get Function Modules
EXIT_SAPLKASC_001
EXIT_SAPLKASC_002
EXIT_SAPLKASC_003
5. Now individually double click on each FM and put a break point ther.
6. Open a new session and see wheather it stop at the break-points of the T. code you are looking for.
I havent used this user exit, so no comments on how it ll be use ful.
