N8 Huge Camera Problem Found, Please Advice!!
Hello all Nokia guys, I am a new member in this forum as well as to Nokia.
I bought Nokia N8 on Sunday 5 th Dec 2010 ( Mumbai, India ).
That day i did not test camerra in the night time. I clicked many photos during Day time and it looked just Gr8.
Now when i tried taking pictures at night, my worst night mare came to life.
I am attaching some of the pictures taken during night time.
You can see many shinig spots in the picture. I don't know how these spots appeared.
Please suggest me solution....
Camera settings are default. ( Flash is ON. no night mode everything in setting is set to Automatic )
Please tell me whether this problem is common to all or any.

Sir! I have removed the Plastic Film on the Lens. And yes, the lens is clean and I clean it everytime before taking photos.
I have searched over the net and found that, in dusty ( or a little bit dusty) environment, the flash light gets reflected from the small dust Particles in air. This is the reason for those white spots.
But i don't get it. I mean i have seen Cameras with Xenon Flash (I mean the costlier ones), they do not face any such problems.
I think N8 camera is built so complex that it can take photos of Micro Organisms !!.
But Please let me know if any of you guys facing similar problems.
Again, i point out that the camera settings set to default ( no tweaking at all) with Lens Cover Removed And lens is very clean.

TIlting problems. Please advice.
Hi i just got my iPhone 6 hours ago.
Everything was fine until i started to play games which uses tilt (e.g NFSU, DoodleJump).
For NFSU, my car turns left with my iPhone horizontal.
For Doodle, the character just jumps to the left crazily.
Basically, I have to tilt my iPhone to the right about 45 degrees just to offset.
Anybody can advice me what is happening and what i can do?The law here in Portugal is that thet have 30 days to repair the device, if they pass 30 days they have to give a new device or the money, this is for all electronics here.

Huge icloud problem, urgent please help
So I broke my old iphone and my dad gave me his old one, i restored it to factory settings and then set about putting my icloud recoery on, I signed into to my apple id and icloud, then i got to a terms and conditions page which I agreed to.
HOWEVER and here is the problem, after a small wait of 'it may take a few minutes to set up your apple id' i am presented with a screen saying choose your backup, with various dates on it. I click on the latest one, and it it says
"enter the apple id password for 'email address' to use for store purchases (including the appstore) iTunes store, and iBooks store"
problem is, the email address isn't one i own, i have never seen this email address before in my life it certainly doesnt belong to me, or anybody I know, and I am really rather concerend as all of my backups are in this persons email from aol...

Unless my understading of Java is completely wrong, after the code you've written, string1.equals(string2) should be true.
And that is because string1 is a Java String, in unicode format (all Java strings are in unicode format). So, with
bytes = string1.getBytes ("UTF8");//encodeyou get the bytes of that String coresponding to it's UTF-8 representation. Then,
string2 = new String (bytes, "UTF8");//decodeyou create a new String (in unicode) from the UTF8 bytes representation. In my opinion, string1 is always equal with string2.

Please advice my problem on MusicPlayer
Hi.
I have created a MusicPlayer using AIR. The fuctionality is
like media player or real player. It working fine on everything.
But Problem is after install the .air application in my system it
is working very very slow and if we see the process for CPU in Task
manager it is showing like 94, 96 as the processing order.
Can i make my music player running fast. How can I overcome
this problem.

I am trying to connect my Sony DCR-TRV350 to iMovie so that I can make DVD's from family videos. I am having problems getting the video camera connected. Any advice on how to do this?
What happens when, after you connect your cam, you go to File > Import Media?
But before that, does your cam require you to export your video files upon USB connection? I have a JVC Everio HD and I have to "Export to Library" from the cam's menu first-thing. This was true even in prior iMovie versions. -
After a months of stable work my new IPad suddenly denies to find cell network under any circumstances.Please advice if anyone familiar with that problem?
It sounds like there are a couple things going on here. First check if you have a successful install of SQL Server, then we'll figure out the connection issues.
Can you launch SQL Server Configuration Manager and check for SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) if default instance or SQL Server (other name) if you've configured your instance as a named instance. Once you find this, make sure the service is started.
If not started, try to start it and see if it throws an error. If you get an error, post the error message your hitting. If the service starts, you can then launch SSMS and try to connect. If you have a default instance, you can use the machine
name in the connection dialog. Ex: "COWBOYS" where Cowboys is the machine name. However, if you named the SQL Server instance during install, you'll need to connect using the machine\instance format. Ex: COWBOYS\Romo (where Romo
is the instance name you set during install).
You can also look at the summary.txt file in the SQL Server setup error logs to see what happened on the most recent install. Past install history is archived in the log folder if you need to dig those up to help troubleshoot, but the most
recent one may help get to the bottom of it if there is an issue with setup detecting a prior instance that needs to be repaired.

If you've noticed unexpected behavior with your iPhone camera, start with these steps to isolate or resolve the issue:
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

I have an apple Iphone 5s and i'm facing a problem. Sometimes when i unlock my phone with passcode or finger tip my screen goes white around the corners. Please advice what kind of issue is this.
Sounds like a hardware issue. Bring the phone to Apple for evaluation.

While downloading the free trial for Final Cut Pro X my internet has dropped out many times. It does however seem to continue ok each time it reconnects. Will this affect the software when it finishes? Is this a problem? Any advice please?
This has happened to me with a few downloads without any upsets.
You should be OK.
As I recall the download is around 1.2 gig so it takes a bit of time and effort to get it to your system.

In trying to include what information all that I could I should have specified I DON'T KNOW THAT IT WAS DEFINATELY JAILBROKEN when I took it to the apple store they told me there's no way for them to tell if it was jail broken or not. I'm only going by what ppl have told me COULD HAVE BEEN DONE TO THE PHONE. With that said the only thing I know for sure is that the apple tech at the Genius Bar told me that someone took control of my root menu in February & I've had no control of my phone since. I asked him how to regain control & how he knew his exact words were "oh that is out of our scope of capabilities here at this level & you would need an apple engineer to fix it". I said ok then how do I get an apple eng then? He laughed & said you can't!!!! To which I was furious I came home & called apple requesting to speak w/the fraud dept to file a report they said we don't have a fraud dept!! So after a 45 mn phone call again I left w/no answers.

I DON'T HAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO SPEND HIRING AN ATTORNEY & Although I appreciate your suggestion I fail to how an attorney would be able to facilitate in any way since there's no suspect. I cannot prove that it's him doing it so I certainly can't pursue legal action w/no proof & no money. :'((

I was looking more for a TECHNICAL way to avoid this happening w/a new phone should I buy one or trying to get them out of my phone now! Such as installing some kind of software protection?? Can't finish Yosemite installation on MacBook Pro, please advice!

this week, my MacBook HDD died. It was working fine, and then it boot to the flashing folder. I run the Hardware test directly from the Internet and the results said everything was ok. When I tried to use disk utility to delete everything it couldn't mount/un mount the disk, and the s.m.a.r.t. Status was failed.
When i tried to install the fresh copy o Yosmeite, the HDD wouldn't came up, so I assumed that it's was a problem with the HDD. I bought a brand new HDD, upgraded from 500g to 1T. the first time I used disk utility, I created de partition y formatted the disk without problems. I run the Yosemite installer and everything was working fine, and then it display a message that it could not finish the installation, so i tried again, and now I'm stuck in a loop when i start the Mac with the thumb drive and launch the installer it goes to the same picture of the progress bar full, but no error messages in the log, can't unmount the HDD or delete the partition using disk utility, the s.m.a.r.t status now said Not supported, and the hardware test shows that everything is fine, please advice what to do?
thanks guys!I would take it to an Apple Store's Genius Bar and ask for them to reinstall the operating system for you. They can just copy an image of the completed install to your drive and it should work assuming there's nothing physically wrong with your computer. You could also go to any other Apple Authorized Service Provider, but Apple will do it for free.
