N8 isnt swiching on
my n8 isnt swiching on, it ran out battry and swiched off, now it is not charging and not indicating the charging indicator. charger is working.

Is the phone charging properly? Does it get fully charged? Have you checked if it has the latest software? If not, you may follow the instructions given in this link:

I pod isnt found atall by windows xp
I recently had to fix my computer cause it over heated now its fixed. I went into my i tunes and set up i pod as enable disk mode for data transfer. No i want music so i try and update it and nothing it wont find it atall as an i pod only as a USB STORAGE DEVICE!. I Tried to install hardware using i pod driver disk but computer isnt finding it as an i pod only as storage device. I plugged it in all usb hubs they all working fine. I go to the options to untick the enable disk mode, the options logo isnt there in i tunes atall nothing. In EDIT then prefrences then i pod tab it says i pod is not connected. Orange and green lights are flashing on it and it wont let me update songs on to it. I tried uninstalling i tunes 4 times and using the i pod updater, nothing. I went to RESTORE it the same thing happens, and tried to update it again same thing happens. I despeartly want to get my i pod back and im afraid im wont be able to now. Some one had a similar problem on here suggested to relocate the DRIVE but i dont understand what that means! Please someone help me get my i pod back to being an i pod. Using i tunes version 6. Mr d roberts. Also i lost the tab that goes covers the i pods memory port any ideas on how to get a new one!

I've just installed CS6 creative suite mainly for photoshop CS6. It comes with camera raw 7.0.something, but need something newer to use my canon 6d. When I download camera raw 8.5 and install the raw converter doesnt work anymore, wont even open or isnt available anymore in the plugin list. Tried to reinstall everything for a few times, but nothing helps.
When I search for updates the raw converter doesnt get update automaticly. Frustrating, is costing me the whole morning.

I am trying to launch Firefox 9.0.1 on Windows 7 but it isnt working. I try to launch it and the application window does not show. When I look at the task manager and then look at the Applications tab, Firefox isnt listed. If I go to the Processes tab, there is a firefox.exe*32 process listed. Each time I double click the Firefox icon, a new firefox.exe process is spawned but there is never a visible instance of the Firefox application.
There are no errors in the application logs. I end up just having to kill the processes.
I tried launching in safe mode by holding down the shift button but the same thing happens.
Any suggestions on what to try? It has never worked since upgrading from version 8. I tried un-installing and re-installingI went through everything mentioned in the link you posed and nothing detailed there resolved the problem.
The Profile folder didnt exist so I created it. Made sure the perms were good and that it was not read only.
There are no default folders appearing under the profile folder when I start Firefox.
I have Firefox installed to my E drive.
Nothing happens. The process appears in the task manager but no application shows up.
Cant start it in safe mode, cant run the profile manager. -
My sound is fine but my mic isnt working. how do i fix or figure out whats wrong with it
Title says it. I just did a clean wipe on my computer and now my mic isnt working on vent or skype, i dont know what is wrong with it. When i go to my sound hardware it says my external mic, IDT high def audio codec is enabled..
Same thing here. Must be update related. Who knows. Tried to go into ventrilo today and nada. Can hear people fine, microphone not picking. In my devices it says my Anvex Virtual Audio is "not available", same with the "IDT High Definition Audio Codec. Now I'm starting to get a little agitated. No diagnostics have come back with a ping on the issue. All settings seem fine. I HAVE AUDIO, as in my speakers are working so **bleep**.
I'm lost. No clue how to fix it. Guess I'm no longer raiding and that if this isn't working I'm going to go buy a Dell and rage beat this piece of **bleep** in the yard. That's right. I am taking 3 years of continual frustration out with HP errors, Vista complications and overall disatisfaction.
If you can fix this problem I will offer you pictures of fluffy kittens and circus acrobats/contortionists. Now fix my ventrilo. lol -
Iphone 3gs isnt being recognised by itunes and screen just frozen
iphone 3gs 16gb plugged into main desktop but it has frozen on iphone screen and isnt being recognised by the computer at all,not bringing up itunes at all and when open itunes it doesnt recognise the iphone. Iv tried following the reset and restore several times on iphone itself tried to restart the pc and have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes but still nothing!!!all its showing on the iphone screen is a picture of the usb lead and the itunes logo and when i plug into main computer with usb lead its not been recognised at all so now my phone is totally frozen and the pc cant find it at all.Iv also tried to follow procedure on my laptop and at first it recognises the iphone then says to continue i need to restore to factory settings which iv done but then says it doesnt recognize the iphone and has error report therefore back to sqaure one I do have the latest version of itunes on both my desktop pc and laptop my desktop is windows XP my laptop is vista..and it is working ok with my normal ipod its just my iphone thats not been recognised and frozen its not even showing up in My Computer either also when unplugged from usb lead its just blank black screen even after reset still just picture of usb and itunes on screen but then does nothing. Please help dont know what to do?????

When trying to restore and update my ipod touch it comes up with an error message saying: "The ipod can not be restored this device isnt eligible for the requested build" How do i fix this?
I am having the same issue. I just had the battery replaced at a third party store. The battery powers the ipod up but it needs to be restored. It is saying it isn't eligible for rebuild. I am running MAC OS 10.4.11 itunes v. 9.0 and I just want it to be restored. I need help. Oh and its an 8 gb ipod touch.

AFTER UPGRADING MY BB TO OS 6 THE LED ISNT WORKING ANYMORE.. when someone texted me that should be on red light but now its still on green, thats while i need to unlock it first before i can see if someone has texted me... even on facebook,twitter and bbm notifications.. the only time it changes its color is when its low battery, what the heck happened to my bb? i cant find the LED settings on TOOLs... please answer!

- Transfer iTunes purchases to the new computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using a third-party program like on of those discussed here:

- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup.
Note that the iPod backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music. -
how do I make it so that the one computer that has the main itunes account on it be used on other computers, when it comes to backing up phones and not deleting data off of phone that isnt on that computer itunes becasse its all on the one main computer. Baiscally the problem is that one comuter and one account has always been sued for eey persons itunes. Now if we want to be able to backup and use itunes on our own computers fro our iphones and such, how will all he data that is on our phones not be deleted once its plugged into a new computer? option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. I had to restore my iphone 5 from an icloud backup from a week ago. everything restored fine, but it only brought back my imessages up to the backup date (a week ago); but all the messages up to today are on my mac messages app on my macbook air; how can i get them all back on my phone? why isnt it syncing from icloud automatically if its still available on my mac? Thanks for any help!
iCloud doesn't sync iMessages. They are sent from the iMessage server to your devices, not synced between devices. I don't think you'll be able to get these messages back on your phone, but you should be receiving any new messages.
