I just bought and pickup my new N8 from Batelco, as soon as arrived home, I unpacked and only to find out that its not charging and not even opening.
If they recognized the fault, they should at least informed the customer or the supplier itself or distributor about this fault so as not to have this worst experience of my life. A brand new and costly phone is not worth having this kind of problem.
Bad thing was, when I told them about the problem, they send me right away to customer service instead of replacing it with new one.
Guys from Nokia, you should do better than this, its not healthy for your company to have such lousy and problematic phone.

After I updated my N8 to belle. The Apps gone, like all. but there is another problems. They are:
I can't make the phone in power saving mood, and the Wi-Fi is cutting always
The Messaging folder contains the incoming and outgoing, and when organized for display as folders and going out from the messages and return to it later, u find it's the same problem!
And languages. for me I'm Arabian and my language is not available or not found here nor there, Don't Forget the Arabians need there language.

Nokia 6220c (classic) PROBLEM - up/down/select but...
Hello - I have a Nokia 6220c.
The up/down/centre select buttons have become non functional. The phone was fine, but the problem came gradually over time. Push it now and nothing happens.
The buttons do seem to work occasionally when I concurrently hold down the very bottom edge of the keypad, but otherwise the phone is useless.
Unfortunately this (expensive) phone was purchased more than a year ago so the warranty no longer applies. Nokia told me that I will have to send it off to the repair centre at my cost and have them evaluate the phone and only then can I get an estimate for repairing the phone.
I came across some posts online saying people experienced this. Has anyone else? Will simply getting a new keypad fix the problem?

Message Edited by robarakira on 29-May-2009 08:20 AMI have my Nokia 6220c for more than a year now and I'm not experiencing any problem with it aside from the quality of the material it was made, since the external silver ligning is kind of loose from the day I got it but I didn't really mind that for I know I can make use of the phone for a lot. And believe me fellas, I've been using it for extreme texting in the outdoor plus almost 24hours of internet usage within less than a year before.
About your problem, you may do *#7370# to do a master reset on the phone. If that won't work, you may always go to your nearest Nokia Care center and have checked for there might be water corrosion inside.

The "C" key will work if there is a bootable volume on a disk in the optical drive. Are you running OSX? Jaguar, Panther, Tiger? On OSX (UNIX) you can use the command "S" (⌘-S) at start up to go to the root and do a file system check: Type; fsck -f -y at the prompt when it appears then press Return; let the root check for problems and repair. To exit after the test type; reboot and press Return

Primarily a phone is a communication device between 2 or more people and secondary could be used for navigation via maps.

I am accompanying in protest for that not-solved problem with Music player. I wrote Nokia-Contact us (in my language) about this problem, but no use. To have music player that STARTS PLAYING AFTER IT IS PAUSED is so annoying. You have player that you can't control.
For that reason I don’t use Music player any more. I downloaded program PowerMP3 and HandyMusic and listen books on one player, music on second.
I find E52 excellent mobile phone, quality made, with good navigation features, with so good innovation for browsing contacts that I am delighted.
I am very annoyed (in IT generally) with more and more applications that I can't control. I had Nokia 6233 before (serie 40). It has player much better than in E52.
Why I can't determine what folder is to play? Music player plays whatever it recognize as sound! Stupid. It plays when I don’t want it to play. Stupid. I can sort music for so many criteria but I can't sort it by file name. So when I have 150 mp3 files, and some of them don’t have all input so precise (author, artist, composer, genre…) you have problem to find mp3 file you want to play. Plus, you can get some annoying ring tones in your ears! Why, for God sake, I can't play only folders that I want, and sort songs (only) by their file names? It is so unlogic for me.
The same thing is with Images in Gallery. You find any picture you have in mobile! Why I can't decide whether I want to find every image in mobi, or to brows specific folder that I chose? I tried with File manager but, when I open one image, I can't brows further. I must close image, then go to next, then open it… So much waste of time and nerves.
I often listen very long mp3 files (books and recordings) that last more then an hour. So, I have additional problem. In any player it is easy to click buttons accidentally that brings you at the beginning or to the next song. So when it happens after I listened 45 min of recording, I am very desperate, because I have to listen the same recording 45 min again. There is no player for non-touch screen mobiles that can bring you fast foreword in any kind. It would be nice if I could determine player to start playing from 45th minute of the recording.
In addition, I can't determine volume of the ring tone for sms, e-mail, reminder, alarm. When you determine volume of ringing you determined volume for any alert. There should be options to change it separately.
Business phone should have much more user-controlled features.
I hope programmers from Nokia read this site. -
When i connect my iphone 5 to my pc using the usb cable, my device is not recognized yet when connected to a power source, it charges normally. What should i do to rectify the problem and read sth about debris being in the usb. How do i remove that?

I'm getting kernel panics each day as I shut down, the message of restarting by holding down the power button appears on the screen - it began about a month ago and. Do you have any ideas of how to solve the problem? I've copied the logs that I found for each kernel panic that still have the message logged. Please help if you can, I have read some of the other comments and perhaps it has something to do with my anti-virus software being on at start up. I have copied the log here. Any advice will be welcome.

Two experiments you can try.
1. Boot in safe mode and see if you can shut down normally. All thise additions won't be running in safe mode so this test would indicate it is one of them causing the problem.
2. Uninstall all the intego VirusBarrier stuff. That's my first guess and the troublemaker. -
My iPad isn't recognizing my airport base. My laptop is connected. I've tried a hard power down of the iPad and my iTunes software is up to date.
If all of the network information is entered correctly in the iPad, some users are finding they have to power down the wireless and then power back up for their iPad to connect.

My iphone 4s recently stopped turning on. I left it alone on the charger for a few days and now will power on just fine. However I have vertical lines going across the entire screen. I also noticed that it will not power down and stay off unless it is connected to the charger. Is this a hardware problem?
Try to Reset your device.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off option that shows up first). -
My 27" Imac (A1312/EMC2390) keeps shutting down unexpectedly with no warning or "screen of death". So far I reset the SMC, and zapped the PRAM. I even replaced the power supply but the problem continues. My error and system logs seem unhelpful too. Can anyone help me out?
You can get a shutdown like that if the computer gets too hot. Make sure the air intakes on the bottom and the exhaust vent on the top are clean and are not blocked by something in your workspace like papers or the back of the computer being too close to part of the furniture. You need a good six inches (15cm) of clearance between the exhaust slot and other objects or surfaces.
Anti-virus/internet security software, especially the "pay for" kinds, can increase operating temps. So can third-party backup software furnished with many "name-brand" external hard drives.
Fan motors and/or temperature sensors can fail. If you have the original grey disks that shipped with your iMac, find the on that has Apple Hardware Test (AHT) and run it. If you have a failed heat sensor or fan motor, it will detect it with an error code containing "SNS" if it's a bad sensor or "MOT" if its a bad fan motor.

Everything worked fine on my new ipad. After I upgraded to ios7 it still worked fine even if it looked very different. But Safari started acting strangely (it is starting the same thing on my iPhone 4s, too). Finally, it froze in state with no URL, no keyboard will come up, I can get Safari to close and start, but not actually function. I went into settings and deleted all the cookies, data, history, and so forth. Same state. I powered down the iPad and restarted. Same state. I tried a trick were I held down the button to bring up the power down stripe and then holding down the home button. Same state.
What can I do? Can I delete Safari and re-install it somehow? Should I take it to an Apple store?If powering down with hard reset (press and hold two buttons Power and home) will not give positive results follow that article

How do I stop an app from waiting? I have tried to reboot by holding the home key and power button to power down. The app is still grayed out and waiting so it cannot be deleted. Also, I have tried to sync the apps from my laptop and tried downloading new appswith no success. Can you help? Thanks
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

I have a belkin 7 adapter for additional usb ports for my mac pro. It worked fine without problems till recently when the message regarding usb port drawing too much power and the computer shuts the port on the mac pro down. The strip comes with its own power supply adapter. The attachments are additional hard drives used as backups and independent data. Other than disconnecting it are there any fixes?
You're getting the message because you're exceeding the available current, probably as a result of bus-powered drives. The power sources for hubs are rather small. Try using drives with their own power supplies.

I have an early 2009 17 inch MacBook Pro that just went on the fritz. When turning on the power it will go into boot up mode to the gray screen with the apple logo, then the disc icon will be running and will continue running, not allowing to proceed to my desk top screen. It's pretty much locked up at this point where I have to do a forced shut down by holding down the power button. I've tried everything that I know of such as taking battery out and pressing power button for 5 seconds and then reinstalling battery. I've cleaned inside of computer with compressed air duster in can as well as other key commands for resets. I've read that this is a common problem with the earlier MacBook Pros. Is this a problem that I can fix or does it have to be taken in for service? Any solutions to the problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
