N8 picture upload to picasa

One question basically: does pixelpipe store my Google password with them?
And if they do, what alternative program can I use that stores the password only locally on the phone or something like that, safe that is?

Symbian Belle ought to have an in0built option for batch uploading photos to Picasa. Especially now that Pixelpipe has quit the store.

Fails to upload to Picasa " Failed to retrieve account information"

Every time I try to upload a picture from my gallery to Picasa I get and message " Failed to retrieve account information" . I have full strength 4g and data connection is good, my Picasa albums show up in my gallery, but I can't add a photo to an album for the life of me. Ideas?

It turns out that if I have Drop Box installed on my GNex then pictures won't upload to Picasa. I have confirmed this to be a problem with a few ICS devices and even found some info on this issue on Google's forums ( http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/mobile/kW1D7jt-DMw ).
Basically until an update to ICS or Drop Box comes through the only solution is to uninstall Drop Box :-(

Picture Upload only works in IE

I created a picture upload routine to allow users to store their picture in the DB. The routine works fine in IE, but not in any other browsers. Am I missing something? Here is what I did:

The enhanced picture uploaded for ebay is not visible in Firefox but is in IE

I sell on ebay and like using the enhanced picture uploader. I still able to use this uploader on IE but Firefox does not even allow ebay to show it as an option. I am very new to Firefox so I am certain it is a setting I need to change. Any and all assistance is very much appreciated.

Editing In Lightroom and Uploading with Picasa?

I have about 10 years of photos organized with Picasa, but I recently bought a D90 moved over to RAW capture and processing. I just got Lightroom, and so far I love it. However, if I do cropping or exposure stuff in Lightroom, and then open the folder in Picasa for uploading, I only see the original, unprocessed images. Is there anyway to make Picasa "see" the edits from Lightroom?
I know there's a plugin for Lightroom to upload to Picasa Online directly, but for now I'd like to keep the ability to at least view and organize photos with Picasa.

Picasa actually works just fine with both DNG and Nikon Raw files, and when you upload from Picasa, it just automatically creates JPG's. It's very convenient, but I prefer the editing tools in Lightroom.
The only solution I see now is to do as you say, but then I end up with two sets of photos which is a pain.

In the picture upload I am getting picture displayed from the MIME.
But I would like to get the picture from the system means upload it and to display in the Explorer.
Is it possible? Or I have to save picture in the table.

Besides checking the file extension, you could add another layer of security by using IsImageFile(). It supports:

Photos uploaded to Picasa after being adjusted in Aperture look washed out.

I imported color pics (RAW and JPEG) from my Nikon D70 to iPhoto. I brought them into Aperture, adjusted the shadows and uploaded them to Picasa (using the Picasa Web Albums Uploader, not the "Aperture to Picasa" plugin. The pictures on Picasa are totally washed out. This doesn't happen when I adjust in iPhoto and upload to the same place. I then downloaded the Kodak (ofoto) uploader. Same thing- washed out, almost gray photos.

Upload to Picasa and pixel size reduced by 50%

Hi,
I am having problem with the Mac picasa uploader so I used the slow method that uploads 5 pictures at a time. BTW I was uploading pictures from Aperture 3 to picasa. However, the file pixel size was automatically reduced by 50%. Is there a way I can upload file at its original pixel size?

What are the export settings you have defined for Picasa? Is it set to export at 100%?

Picture uploading problem

I have never had this problem...but I uploaded 93 pictures from my camera to iphoto, and when I went to upload all pictures to Picasa only 30 uploaded. When I click on the photo itself in iphoto it doesn't come up...it shows a triangle with an ! in the middle. All pictures look like they uploaded in iphoto, howvever some don't open....
I deleted them from my camera after they uploaded so I am praying that I didn't loose all these pictures..

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

There is an "Attachment" field that allows a user to upload an attachment (Image, PDF, document etc). It is one of the fields on the form fields toolbar:
Make sure you are in "Web View" as opposed to "Page View" on the Design tab authoring your form to add the attachment field, the "View" setting is under the View menu and also at the bottom right corner of the page.

OAAD Picture upload - HTTP Error: 403 Forbidden

Dear forum,
When trying to upload a picture for our Q/A HR system in tx OAAD I get the error HTTP Error: 403 Forbidden. However, I can do it with no issues in our prod environment. Anyone has an idea why this is? I have checked SICF and icman is enabled. Does anyone have an suggestion? Hence it isnt portal communication I cant use httpwatch, which most likely could have told me whats wrong.
I hope someone is able to comment on this issue.

Dear Friis,
We have a steps of configurations that needs to be completed for the photo upload to be working. As you say the same is working in the production system, I hope you have the steps with you.
Most common things that needs to be checked in this scenario are,
1. HTTP service availability through the configured profile parameter in the system
2. Restart after the profile parameter change
3. Content Server node activation in SICF transaction
4. User ID and Password to be mentioned in the SICF service as communications or system user
5. Other checks for the content repository and the number range
You can also try repeatedly, to upload the pic (in a JPG format) - because most usually the first trial ends in a failure for the HTTP service with a 403 Forbidden error message.
Let me know your response and the steps you had followed for the config.

If you asking me, I would suggest to additonally use a second storage service which also allows you to store your pictures over the 30 days period. I personally use Dropbox with automatic upload for that (https://db.tt/cMEgDUFZ), but there are also other storage services like Flickr for example.
