N8's screen doesnt turn off even after locking!

I dont know if someone has reported it here but will like to report it here.
Sometimes, when i restarts my N8 and lock it, screen doesnt dim or turn off, though screen is locked and there is key symbol on the top. To get rid of this I have to restart phone and how many time, that depends on our luck! This is serious man, I cant keep my screen always on! Expecting quick solution from Nokia. Does anyone here is having same problem? And does anyone has better solution?

thanks to G8ZoST :
i've also having the same problem..  but now the problem was clear by G8ZoST idea.. i agree G8ZoST say the correct solution for this problem.. thankz lot

  • Why won't my Apple Wireless keyboard connect or turn off even after holding the button down?

I have installed windows 8 release preview on my mac mini through boot camp. When pressing alt to choose to boot into mac, I pressed alt too soon and so windows started to load. When it loaded I realised my keyboard was no longer working. The light just flashed. I tried holding the power button to turn it off and normally this would work fine but this time it wouldn't turn off. I took out the batteries and replaced them and it still won't turn off. And even now, it won't connect to my mac mini or my iPad either. I've read on a forum that it might reset if I take the batteries out for 30 mins so I'll try again tomorrow and then report back, but I'm quite annoyed about this!

It turns out it was faulty batteries!! Just bought an Apple battery charger so will use that from now on!

  • TS3274 I have a black screen with the circle downloading on the i pad but it won't turn off even after using troubleshooting tips. Does anyone know what to do ?

I have a black screen which has the downloading circle going round and round but which is otherwise frozen and won't respond to
troubleshooting suggestions for turning it off and rebooting. Any suggestions please ?

Reboot:  Do this exactly:  Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until you see the Apple Logo, then let go of both buttons and your iPad should restart.

  • Apple logo keeps repeating, cant turn off even after using MENU+Middle

Whenever I was uploading music to my ipod, then i check the music and when I click on it (on my Ipod) nothing playing, i restart the Ipod now the Apple logo repeats itself over and over and i cant turn it off or get it to work. HELP.

leave it connected to the computer for a while and try the reset ( menu and middle button) again....
if the apple logo is still the only thing appearing i would go ahead and send that in for repair

  • During phone calls the screen doent turn off, during phone calls the screen doesn't turn off

The phone screen doesnt turn off when i put it on my ear to make a phonecall

This may very well be an issue with the proximity sensor. Take it to an Apple Store; they'll be able to let you know for sure. But first, to rule out a software issue, try a reset: Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears.

  • After ibernating screen doesnt turn on

    Hi there,
My macbook acts strange when waking up after going into ibernation mode.
If i leave it on after a while the screen goes off to save energy(even when connected to the power), the problem is that half of the times if i press the mouse button to awaken it the screnn doesnt turn on...the light under the keyboard lights up, and if i press any buttons i can hear a "bup" noise, like when you press something that you cant do for example, but the screen doesnt turn on and i cant do anything but force the macbook to shut down by pressing the On/Off button.
Any ideas of why this is happening?
    Thanks

I would suggest you try uninstalling the Lenovo Energy Management driver then reboot your computer.  Once your computer restarts then install a fresh copy of the Lenovo Energy Management driver.  You didn't mention if your Windows 7 was 32 or 64 bit edition so I have included links to both versions of the Energy Management Driver.
Click here for the Windows 7 32 bit driver.
Click here for the Windows 7 64 bit driver.

my iPod screen won't automatically turn off without manually locking... help!
Does anyone know how to change the settings so it will turn off/dim/lock automatically without needing to press the white button at the top all day?  I'm draining batter and it's so annoying!

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
