N8 screen is gone completely

Hi all!
I have a serious problem with my orange Nokia N8. I went to the beach for some time and phone was inside of the beach bag which had no direct contact with sun light exposure. There is 0.02 mm screen protector which is US army patented. When I turned back from the sea, I noticed that there were coffee beans-like items on the screen regularly and bottom there was a square which is completely grayish. I did not see anything else than those. It is pretty similar with the picture some users attached to the forum before. After all, screen turned to dark blue and black, then is gone completely. I can see the phone screen through HDMI connection to the LED TV and can see that phone works perfectly. However, screen is now completely black. Nokia store technical service told me that it needs to be changed and they never face with this problem before.
Is there any one who faced with the same problem and know what to do about the up coming process?

The screen I'd faulty and Nokia are going to replace it ? You don't have an issue ! That's what the warranty is for !

I have a 3rd generation IPod and the screen is black - it is fully charged and will play music but there is nothing to be seen on the screen. I have no idea how to fix this. We live in France now so any of the fixes have to be in English since I can't read French. Any advise would be greatly appreaciated. Hi. Anyone experienced this? My screen suddenly just went, can't see anything other than the faintest outline but in honesty its pitch black.
It was fine beforehand, hasn't been dropped but think its just outside its warranty by a couple of months. Who can I get in touch with to fix this? Is it really useless after just a year?

But, first step with 3GS white screen and most iPhone problems is Reset, hold both home and power buttons until iPhone begins to restart itself, usually about 10 seconds of holding both buttons. If still white screen.
Next step would be Restore the iPhone Firmware with iTunes on your computer. If still white screen.
Next step would be to follow Tim's advice, if you had not already. -

Apple stores have a technician called a Genius. You either call the local store to make an appointment or go tothe store's webpage. The Genius will help yu troubleshoot the problem for no cost except for your time.

i have heard a few people talking about a hard reboot, which you need the power botton and home botton for but i broke my power botton awhile ago.
Hold both home and sleep buttons together until apple log appears and then welt go and wait for phone to restart

My screen has gone black! Help please!
Yesterday, I picked my phone up off my desk and the screen had gone completely black. My phones screen is cracked, but has been for the last ten months and functioned properly. This has happened before but it seemed to turn back on after ten minuets or so. I put my phone on charge overnight to see if it would have changed by the morning. I find myself with my next problem of being unable to deactivate my alams as I cannot dismiss them. I have read other discussions and tried to reset my phone, I have done this several times without anything working. However, now when I put it on charge, every ten seconds the noise to signal that the phone is charging keeps going off!

IPhone 5c's screen has gone black and will not come on. When I plug it in it buzzes every 2 seconds.

I went to check my phone for any messages but when I went to unlock my phone the screen had gone completely blank. The screen was all white and had a black dot in the top left of my screen and had looked like my screen had just cracked. I can still recieve phone calls but I just cant see the screen. So I dont know if its the screen that is broken or the actual phone?

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

My touch screen on my ipod Nano, Gen 6 has gone completely white. It had started going white the day before. I tried resetting it but to no avail. Does anyone know how I could fix this. Also I have 2 other ipods that I am no longer able to sync. It comes up with a message (best I can remember) something to the effect that my itunes version is not compatible with my ipod. Please help. I'm tired of buying new ipods when the new hasn't even worn off of them!!!

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
