N8 themes issue

I did some update on nokia software and currently lost all previous default themes?
how do I recover to last known working state;

One thing to note, many third party hemes cause the email client to show dark blue text, which is hard to read, so I assume the old themes would have a similar issue, the solution I've used is to use Midnight blue and downloaded some wallpapers I like, the phone looks good and all the apps prform as they should ?

Switching Theme Issue

Hi All,We have the following issue.
I Apply the weblog Switching Themes by Topic - A Color Code System for the Portal but I have the following issue.
The header area is updated with the new themes. However, the inner page is not affected by the theme changes. We are trying to change the back color of the portal, but when we change the theme it only changes in the header area but not in the content area

Gnome 3.6 and Eclipse theme issue

Hi all,
I just upgraded to Gnome 3.6, but since then there are some issues with Eclipse buttons. Specifically, toggle buttons states for selected/not selected appear to be the same, with only the text color being slightly darker when selected. Here is a screenshot:
This happens with both Eclipse 4.2 and 3.7, and it didn't happen on Gnome 3.4, so this should be a bug of Gnome 3.6 Adwaita theme.

A kind of tasksel, and some font / theme issue

Hi, it is me again. After heavy fighting my own limitations and several reinstallations (but less than you count fingers on ypur hand) I am back on arch. During installation, I followed the readme that it might be a gould idea to install just the base packages, and an editor could be also a good idea. During installation, packages where sorted in a kind of tasksel (who knows debian) - well sorted groups of packages, f.e. "gnome", "kde" etc. While I am on gnome for some time, I feel that my installation misses some features. F.e. I have no possibility to change time via gnome. The admin tools (group, users, login ... - fith toe ware, I guess) is missing. Some themes are crippled, like gorilla, and some font stuff is happening as evolution overviews look rather empty. And, somehow, the system has little built in sounds, hasn't it?
Well, if you have any idea how to fetch packages via an overview like tasksel ( ore that installation thing ) ore what packages I could need to complete gnome a bit, your ideas are welcome.
Btw. did I mention I really like archlin?

You'll need librsvg installed if you recompile. It's not a requirement of anything, so you'd have to pull it manually.

I don't know if they are smaller than they should. Seems to be OK, but yes, I use a LCD display. Should I care for something?
Could'nt anyone fix this bug - I installed arch on several other machines, sometimes the bug appears, sometimes not. It definetly appears if I choose archlinux source on ftp install, as far as I have installed. Maybe a broken package?
I would be glad if someone could give me a straight solution, as my main working maschine has this bug again. :?

Theme issues during upgrade - EP 6 to EP 7

Dear experts,
We recently did an upgrade from EP 6 to EP 7. We are using the EFP to host some websites. Now we have an issue that in one of the sites we have a TLN iview that do not take the theme. The theme looks fine in other couple of sites we have hosted similarly.
Can someone suggest what could I do to fix this?
I have tried reimporting the Iview from an old EP6 system. Also I tried recreating the iview. I have no clue as why we do not have theme in this particlular iview.
Hope somebody has a clue. Do we have any document about the known issues while upgrading from EP6 to EP7?

The issue was with the masthead iview. Seems the masthead file was corrupted during transport.

8700g Theme Issue

I have an 8700g. Service is T-Mobile. They are not able to help, so I hope someone on this form can. Phone came with three Themes. The Theme I want is NOT one of the three that the phone came with. The Theme I want is the actual them that is shown on the 8700g box that came to be from T-Mobile.
The Theme looks just like the BB Dimension Icon EXCEPT at the top the Day, Date is in big letters. Under that is the Time (it look like they are centered on the phone). Under these two is the Word Edge also appears to be centered. The word Edge is in some type of border of some kind, reminds me of airplane wings.
Do now know the name of the Theme that I am looking for????
I have internet on the phone but do not have option to download a theme from what I see. As all the screen gives me is the following after I go into the Theme section:

Activate
Switch Application
Close
Can I purchase this theme from a website and have it sent to my phone? T-Mobile said that I should be able to get the theme I am looking for from Blackberry as T-Mobile does not have any BB Dimension Download themes.

If the battery is dead you will see the battery and the lightening bolt for a little while. Then the red light will come on and the device will reboot (takes about 2 minutes) to the home screen and continue to charge.

Live wallpaper display theme issues

On Live Wallpaper app, display themes stopped showing out of nowhere! tried everything and now just suck with golden gate theme. err....

I'm not seeing it in any of my browsers, which version of IE is giving you the trouble. I always assume IE is the problem when it isn't spelled out (it's best to explain the problem in your body, not in your post title, it will get truncated)?
In IE7 and 8, the entire site should be broken. There is a lot going on in your code that neither of those browsers can handle.
Looks fine in IE9 and 10, Firefox and Chrome for me.
If your issue is showing in IE10 or 11, make sure to turn off Compatibility Mode if it's enabled, that breaks everything.
It could also be a browser cache issue, make sure to clear that out and look at the site again.
Also make sure to run your page through the validatror at http://validator.w3.org to get a listing of your html errors. Those errors can cause display problems between browsers/versions/platforms.

8320 theme issue

I went to change my theme today and after clicking to save it, it started to reload Surreal Theme and will not. It sits there and unfimilar hour glass figure going up and down, but never loads. After about 1 minute it brings up a real small error log "App Error 523" "Reset". I click the ball to reset and it repeats itself. I have removed the battery for up to an hour to reset itself and same results. I have tried other buttons to see if it will do anything with no luck. What do I need to do?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
This KB discusses a very similar error...and I recall the resolution for your error being the same. It's pretty much a complete device OS reload...I hope you already have either a recent backup or you have your organizer data inside of a desktop PIM...cuz it's highly likely that data is already gone from your BB.

N97 Application mngr & Themes issue. ..

hello guys ,
I Have Themes installed in E Memory , when I go to Application Manager to un-install them they're not there & they dont show !! but they're still in the Themes select option menu.
i Cant Format the whole E memory just to get rid of some themes !! ... anyone else facing this issue ? any solutions ?

Connect the phone to a computer in mass storage mode. If you're using Windows, make sure that hidden and system files are displayed.
Navigate to the drive that's mounted when you connect the phone and go to the private\10207114\import folder.
In there you will see a folder for each theme that's installed in your mass memory. In each folder there will be a .skn file. Open that file with a text editor and scan for the name of the theme that will appear in there.
Once you've located the theme(s) you want to delete, simply delete the folder under "import" containing the .skn, .mif and .mbm files.

Black Theme Issues

I have two issue with the new 'Black Theme' on the Q10.
Blackberry travel: I have problems seeing the font, it's very dull and not visible.
Pobcasys: same as above. Actually can't see anything for some reason. Launched Pobcasts on my other new BBZ10 and it was no problem whatsover.
Anyone else having these issues?

OK, so i figured it out. The problem was that I did a restore from my Z10 into my Q10 and all the programs were installed on the Q10. So I deleted the Blackberry Travel, Podcasts and Crackberry apps and reinstalled them. Now they work fine again. So best thing is when restoring from a Z10 to a Q10 or visa versa, do not restore the apps, just redowload them again.

THEME ISSUE

hello all i am new here. i have had a blackberry for years so not new to that .my issue is this i am using a bold 9650 on us cellular and they have have not upgraded the software yet to 6.0 .I was reading on one of the other forums that i could download the 6.0 anyway .I did that followed the instructions and i went great . could not use the navigator this is something i use alot .I went back to the last os 5.0 and now i cant get one of the themes that i had when i had 6.0 it says that it will work on 5.0.I have tried everything contacted the vender ,pulled the battery, cleared the cache , nothing is working i really like this theme .When o go into app world and my word on the phone it is there and i click reinstall and it says that is not available in app world then brings up the puchase screen i click on purchase and it does nothing .I have even tried to purchase it right from the vendors website and get the same thing it does nothing when i ckick on purchase .I have also tried to sync the applications in my wold to the phone from the pc and it wont do that either . PLEASE HELP

E-Recruiting Web Dynpro theme issue

I have created a theme in our system (using BSP_UPDATE_MIMEREPOS), and went into SPRO to assign the theme to WD (sap e-recruiting -> techinical settings -> user interfaces -> settings for WD -> backend -> specify url param for application with WDA). Here, I assigned the THEME_URL parameter to /sap/public/bc/ur/nw5/themes/my_theme, but the system is still using the standard theme.
My question is do I have the parameter right in SPRO? This should assign the theme from the standard to whatever I define it as, but it is not taking the theme I input into the system.
Any help would be great!!!

I have upgraded to Creator 2 Update 1 and I know have have a problem with all my pages in desin view

Go to theme choose another theme other than your default , this allows the library to be rebuilt. Then rechoose your default them.
Close application server
Clean and Build
ReStart Application (Overkill I know from now on)
Restart server
Clean and build again
Problem solved.

Adobe Color Theme Issues in InDesign CC

When I create a custom color theme using cmyk the colors are visually correct at that stage. However, when I go to select it under "My Color Themes" to use it n a document, the colors are "visually" off and do not appear to match the swatches I created. Is anyone else having this problem and is there something I need to do to correct it?

SAP Corbu Theme issues

Hi All,
I have recently modified the SAP Corbu theme and applied to my user using display rules.
Every thing looks fine except that when I open /irj/portal in google chrome / firefox, and then go to UWL, some of the images are not loading and I can see below error

You need to apply SAP note 2016530. You should know that SAP Corbu isn't supported in the portal and it will be removed from the UI Theme Designer in SP08, see SAP note 2016674 for details. Better start working on a custom theme based on Gold Reflection.
