  • Problem viewing photos on Facebook app

For some reason I am unable to view photos on SOME of my friends on the Facebook app. When you go to the 'photos of....' tab it says there is a problem connecting with Facebook. But when you go to another 'folder' on the same profile, you can view all of the pictures in that particular folder with no problems. Also in ANY folder I am having a problem looking at pictures over the number of about 24 or 25. It says "more pictures", and when you touch the highlight, it acts like it is loading them, then just stops.

I did once. I had a strange problem happen once where it would leave some of the pages blank where you could see your friends statuses and new photos, without having to go into their profile. The problem started before I did the recent itouch update, but has grown in the number of profiles afterwards. But I have not reinstalled it after I did the update I bought. Could that be it?

  • How do you view photos on facebook app

When you goto the menu and goto photos it only shows your camera album ,How do you view your photos then?

Hello matt28781 and welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
To view your photos in the Facebook® for BlackBerry® smartphones applications, you first need to go to your Profile.
You can do this by accessing the Facebook banner at the top and click on Profile or by going to Menu>View My Profile.
When you are viewing your profile, click on the Photos tab. You can now see a list of your Albums as well as tagged photos of you.
    Hope this answers your question.

  • I can't view photos on any websites? How do I "unblock" viewing photos on a website?

When I was on facebook, I accidentally "blocked" viewing photos. One day I was browsing and "right-clicked" the photo I was viewing and it said "block viewing photos on facebook". I need to "unblock" this setting..

    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_do_not_load
Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions<br />
See [[Options window - Content panel]]
*A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (<i>Site Identification</i> icon) on the left side of the location bar.
*A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Open the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Page Info" window.
*Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

  • Unable to view photos that others post on facebook since upgrade

was able to view photos that friends posted on facebook until ungraded to current version of firefox. Now those photos are just blank white spaces.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
*Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
*Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
*Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
*Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

  • Viewing and closing photos on Facebook

The last 3 to 4 weeks I have trouble closing photos in Facebook. Also if I click on a photo it opens at the top and then I have to scroll up to look at it. Does anyone else have this problem, or does anyone know a solution because it is really annoying?

  • HT201317 When I view photos on my devices some are not oriented correctly. I used Picassa to turn all photos upright and then copied those photos into the upload file but they are still not corrected when viewed on my devices (ipads)

When I view photos on my devices some are not oriented correctly. I used Picassa to turn all photos upright and then copied those photos into the upload file but they are still not corrected when viewed on my devices (ipads)

Generally I would not use Facebook for sharing any photos, it compresses the photos substantially, and when you have shadows and dark colours you get visible "bands" where there should be subtle gradients, ie at sunsets and sunrises.
It sounds like you are using two methods to upload to Facebook:
    1. Sharing from within Aperture, which basically syncs Facebook with your Aperture album, so any changes made at either end gets synced, hence the deletions from Albums, although the original file should still be in your library, just removed rom the album. It is like a playlist in iTunes.
    2. Exporting pics and uploading to Facebook from the browser.
I am not sure how method 1 gets compressed, but I know that uploading hi-res jpegs to Facebook using method 2 results in poor quality images.
I wouldn't even bother comparing option 1 or 2, and they will both be poor images once you view them on Facebook, as opposed to viewing uploaded images on proper image sharing / hosting sites.
Your problem is not with Aperture, it is using Facebook for showing your work.
If you export pics form Aperture at high res jpegs or TIFFs your images will be fine.
If you insist to use Facebook as your way to share your work, then your workflow should be this:
    1. Right click images you want to share.
    2. Select Export version.
    3. Export as 100% size and ensure the export settings are set at 100% quality.
    4. Upload this pic into Facebook.
This will get you the best image size and resolution on Facebook.
    See how you go.

  • How do i view photos i downloaded on my iphone 5?

I have downloaded a photo form facebook using my iphone 5 and it is not showing up in my camera roll. I was wondering how do i view the photo on my phone. Any tips will help. Thank you.

Did you click on the photo and select "SAVE"? It should have been saved to your photo library. Did you try the photo stream tab at the bottom? Or check around other albums? I think it is probably in photo stream tab

The thing is, PDF is not an "image" file format. Here are the image file formats that Facebook supports:      "Check the photo format. We only support certain types of image formats, so we recommend using .jpg, .bmp, .png, .gif, and .tiff files."  Be well...

  • How do i print photos from facebook on to 4x6in photo paper? for me it cuts off half of it.

The printer is a HP Photosmart Plus, e-all-in-one B210 series. Am trying to get photos off facebook and print them for her birthday in a couple of days - HELP!

I see and It only prints half the photo? Interesting...
What i would suggest doing is this,
    - go to the page/photo on face book where you are trying to print/save from
    - right click on the Photo and ""Save As"", now i would recommend saving them in the " My Pictures" from within the "My Documents" folder
-Once saved, go ahead and open them up (Pictures)  from within the Folder and not the website, unfortunately, it sounds like the web site is not allowing the full command/picture to be sent through, but being a 3rd party Site We cannot be sure..
-that is what i would advised to get those to Print Fully and to your Expectations

  • I want to download photos from Facebook to iPhoto

When I click "download" while viewing a friend's wall photo in facebook, it doesn't go anywhere. I'd like it to open in iPhoto. Is this possible?

No - you can only import photos into iPhoto - download photos to a desktop folder and then import to iPhoto - note that the quailty of Facebook photos is very low

  • Can't view flash in Facebook - Anywhere else is fine!

Okay, so new laptop and, no matter what I do, I can't view flash in Facebook. When I click on the video I get an error saying "Flash Player upgrade required". If I click upgrade I am told by the adobe page that my player is already up to date.
I can view flash ANYWHERE else, but not in facebook. If a youtube clip is embedded in facebook I get the error message, but if I click through to the video on youtube and view it directly, it works fine.
I have tried everything. I have tried clearing my cache, deleting the adobe player cache, reinstalling my browser, re-installing flash player. Nothing I do will let me watch flash embedded in facebook. It makes no sense.
I am running Windows 7 - 64bit. Chrome is my browser, but I have exactly the same issue in any browser. I have disabled my virus scanner (avast) but the problem persists. This seems to be a fairly common problem judging by my google searches, but there never seems to be an answer.
This is a new laptop, so hardly anything installed.
Oh, apparently I am running version 10,3,181,22
