N8 with BELLE .. attributes of NOTE change always ...

Hi! I've updated my N8 to Symbian Belle.. and It change the file notes simply by opening it without changing it!! This changes the order of my notes!!
You don't know how I'm MAD with Nokia for that reason!!!
The clock in Stand-by I hate, much better the one of Anna!!
The small square on stand-by should be an envelope? Where is the magnifying glass?
I can't see the SMS like BEFORE, I HATE CONVERSATION MODE, I like to see sms like before.. the number of Radio ( that does not rotate) Station has gone away... the zoom of the photo now are slowly than before..
When I save a photo with MODIFY the pic will be saved in the OTHER memory non in the same MEMORY I've choose.. Why?

With Anna was enough to click on the top left corner to change the video aspect ratio when watching a video..now with Belle is more difficult .. click on the bottom, change aspect ratio... was it really necessary?

Statistic report with figures that will not change when rerun months later

Hi,
Is there any good practices that we can follow to create statistic reports with figures that will not change even when rerun after few months later?
My scenario is my statistic report is generated based on data that is "alive" which means the record will get change after a period of time. So, if you generate the statistic report in for January 2006 in the month of January and regenerate in May for the January 2006 statistic, the figure is different. But what I want is to be able to get the same figures.
I know in this case looks like we need some sort of summary tables, so posting this to get advice on the best way to design such summary tables. Please comment if there is other ways of doing it.
Summary tables may work for statistic report, but how to support detail report listing where the records are required to be the same when it was generated few months ago.

What happens, when you execute a report today is the following: a select statement is fired at the data base and the result set is displayed in the report. The data can change after the moment you launched your report. What you could do to keep the result set the same, is implementing a user parameter that fills your date discriminator.

Programmatically changed attributes do not change in MAX?

I have a program where im using IMAQdx to enumerate attributes (which sets attibutes in MAX) and then IMAQ to grab and snap. Everything seems to be working fine but when I open MAX after playing with the attributes they are not there. The change that i make in the program doesnt display in MAX. IE. I changed FPS to 30 and it got updated in Labview (camera was running at 30fps) but then I opened NI MAX and it wasnt updated there.
any ideas?

The changes that you make to the camera attributes programmatically are not permanent changes that would show up in MAX. Once the references to the camera are closed in LabVIEW, the settings revert to the defaults in the camera file which is read by MAX. Here is an article that describes what's happening in more detail.

Cannot receive email. No issues with sending. Settings not changed. Help?

Nothing has changed with my email settings and I can successfully log in through webmail. I can send messages through Thunderbird but cannot receive anything. My account is not over its allotted size, so it isn't a space issue. Please help.

Maybe you need to change something to match a change your provider made.
Successfully logging into your account on the webmail page just confirms that you know your username and password. The webmail and POP or IMAP servers are two completely different things.
Do you get any kind of error message?
Get a current list of server settings from your provider and compare those with what you have in Thunderbird to see if you need to change anything.

Issue with BAPI_POSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 order is not changed

After upgrde to SCM APO 7.0 we are facing one issue in RRP3 view.
I can see the orders getting consolidated based on the selection criteria of 1 Week time period but they are not getting deleted.
It's creating new record with leading zeros as ( XXXXX/000001/1 ) instead of XXXXXX/1/1).
we are using BAPI_POSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 . Please let me know any one is faced this issue and with helpfull answer.
we have implemented OSS note : 1446270 but it's not resolved. please help.

MS Word 2007 Problem: Could not Change Doc Template

I started getting an error when I open a rules document through OPM. The document usually opens ok, but OPM gives the error "Oracle Policy Modeling was unable to open the document as an error occurred with MicroSoft Word: Could not change document template.
Usually, I can work in the document with no problems, but sometimes when I do the compile of the document that got this message, the compile and save works, but then Word crashes. The compiled document is available through OPM, but it thinks the document needs to be compiled on a build. I've learned to continue without compiling, otherwise Word will crash again.
Other times, the document compiles just fine with no problems with Word.
Occasionally, Word loses the Add-ins list. I've figured out how to attach it again.
Everything was fine until about 2 weeks ago. The only difference I can think of is that Word did an automatic update. I uninstalled and reinstalled OPM, but it hasn't made a difference.
I'm running OPM 10.1.0.27 on XT.

Try the following workaround:
1) Rename the word 2003 template (Policy Modeling Word Template) in c:\program files\oracle modeling\templates to another filename
- This is to force Word 2007 not to load the Word 2003 template
2) Open the Word document from Policy Modeling
- To load the Word 2007 template and attached it to the document
3) Save the document

Mail.app and IMAP does not change message in server

Hello all...
I'm having a strange problem with Mail.app.. I have a IMAP server that uses pine-imapd. I can login and read messages, but anything I do with the messages to not change the message status on the server... If I read a new message, it remains NEW on server, if I delete, it DO NOT delete form server, and so on.. There are cases that I keep receiving the same message over and over again, but actually there's only one message on the server... I used to use Linux with Evolution and everything works just fine, but with Mail.app on Leopard, I have this issue.. Anyone experienced the same thing and have solved it?

Assuming Preferences > Mailbox Behaviors > Move deleted messages to the Trash is ON, does having Store deleted messages on the server ON or OFF make a difference?
Does the problem persist if you take the account offline, then back online (e.g. by means of Mailbox > Go Offline/Online)?
Do you have any Mail plug-ins? In the Finder, go to each of the following folders (if they exist). What do you see there?
/Library/InputManagers/

~/Library/InputManagers/
~/Library/Mail/Bundles/
To make accurately reporting that information easier, open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal, type the following command (you can just copy it here and paste it in Terminal), and press <Return>. You can then copy the output of that command from Terminal and paste it in your reply to this post:

Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. From the menu bar, select

Bug(?) with iCal - Can not change the event time

Hello all,
First of all, let me preface my question by admitting that I'm new to the Mac world, transitioning from MS environment. So please, be a bit patient
Now, on to my problem:
I have created events in iCal and I can not change the time for any event. The time that's always displayed is 15:54! I have checked the time zone setting to on/off to se if it makes a difference, but to no avail. I have also gone into preferences and under the General Tab, the Day starts at and the Day ends at: show three (3) selections; Noon, 15:54, Midnight !!???
I have changed the Show hours at a time, to see if that makes a difference, but it does not.
To add to the above mystery, I have created events with my mobile SonyEricsson K850i, with the correct time(s), date, etc., synchronized with iCal and the time changed to 15:54!!
This is a new MacBook Pro, with the latest patches! For some reason the iCal applet does not allow any changes to the time.
Any suggestions/help will be greatly appreciated.

This is whle my phone is locked both on the slide up toolbar/menu interface and on the normal screen before i slide to unlock.

I skimmed through this very long post but from what I read, this sounds much more like a coverage issue with your network than a device issue. I have not seen or heard of this issue before and I do not have this issue personnally and & I use the music app quite frequently while working in the yard.
The DND feature should not be a factor at all if you're sure it's turned off. I always recommend restarting your phone by holding down the home button + the lock button for 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Once the phone reboots, do a test to see if this has helped to resolve the issue.
If not, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then, test it out again. Post back if neither of these solutions solve your issue.

Date modified attribute not changing

the situation is this:
everytime I modify a file in netbeans or zend (a javabased php editor), the changes made to the file are written ok, but the "date modified" attribute of the file is not changed, thous, when I try to commit (cvs) the file, the cvs clients tells me that theres nothing to commit. I have to open the file with notepad, do something, and then save it, in order to get the date changed and then send it.
I post this here, because i believe its a config java thing, that could solve both IDE problems.

But this is not changing when I go to the App store to make a purchase or install updates.
How do I get the app store connection on my IPAD to go to the apple id i am currently using.
Obviously just changing it on the settings was not enough.

Again, this only affects you if someone *redownloaded* content with a different ID. In my case, I emailed iTunes Store support, explained the situation, and they reset the counter. I recommend you try the same
If you read discussion boards, this is a significant change from a year ago, when Apple told people in the same situation to go f&$# themselves. Clearly it's dawning on them that this is a stupid policy, and my guess is if people keep complaining they'll change it to something more reasonable. Remember, it wasn't that long ago you couldn't re-download content at all.
Apple can't really afford to play hardball on this. Sure, the hardcore fanboys will always say "Thank you sir, may I have another" whatever Apple throws at them, but the rest of us will just switch to Amazon, which has none of these restrictions.

I have rebooted it several times the I phone itself shows a CD with a music not over it and under it in small letters iTunes with an arrow pointing up wards and a picture of the small end cable on the screen . it will not move change unlock it is frozen into that position.. how do i get the useage of my phone back this is rather daunting wehn all i was trying to do was up load the most recent version upgrade of iOS.. THe phone is NOT jail broken.. all i want to do is have it return back to how it was before i started the updae version process obviously it did not take and now it is locked into plave the screen will not change.. after reboots and shut down when i turn it back on the same screeen appears the cd disc with the music note over it and the arrow pointing upwards and a picture of the small end of the charge cord that fits into the actual compute.. I called Apple and they said that they know about this problem. It's a problem with iCloud which their Engineers know about. (there was a new iCloud release, hence...) No ETA for a fix yet. I asked that this be escalated so Engineering doesn't put it at the bottom of their fix list. I talked to a Senior Advisor and mentioned to them to have QA check their regression tests as this has happened before to me (the problem just didn't take this long to resolve). I like to use green too for important stuff, so I've resorted to creating a new calendar using the normal calendar green for events going forward. They could have picked another color besides green to have this problem with and I wouldn't have been so upset. ;-)

I had the same thing happen to me. It's a bug in iPhoto 9.4.2.
The first time you run iPhoto after upgrading to iPhoto 9.4.2, it "updates the iPhoto library". This sometimes tickles a bug where iTunes can see all your iPhoto albums, but iTunes thinks they are empty. Since iTunes thinks all your albums are empty, it dutifully deletes any photos from your synced iOS devices.
It's easy to tell if this is the problem you are seeing. Open iTunes and go to the photos sync panel for one of your iOS devices. If you have multiple albums checked, but iTunes shows a total of 0 photos, then you have the problem.
I spent an hour with an Apple Genius. he couldn't find any mention of this problem in their internal support system. His recomendation was to reinstall the operating the system. I suspect that this won't solve it.
The only solution I have found is to restore iPhoto 9.4.1 and the corresponding iPhoto library from your backups.
I would refrain from upgrading to iPhoto 9.4.2 until Apple has a fix for this issue.
